[Omega]

The creature facing Sombra dashed forward for a tackle attack. Sombra leaped out of the way and attacked with an iron tail. His hardened tail smashed against the creature's stomach.

The creature facing Zodiac attacked with an ember. The blue flames illuminated the cavern for a moment, revealing the two creatures to be charmanders. But their skin was pale and their eyes were larger.

[Jaemon]

Zodiac did a defence curl to weaken the attack, then used a bite on the blue charamnder, ignoring the appearance.

[Omega]

The charmander fighting Sombra attempted another tackle, but Sombra used shadow ball before the two could collide. The charmander fell, unable to battle.

The charmander fighting Zodiac cringed a bit from the bite attack. However, it pulled itself together and attacked with a slash.

[wynnyelle]

A white nidorino stood watching the battle. "Outsiders! From the sunworld! Stop the fight! Stop! I want to learn from them, hear from them...what is the sunworld like?"

[Omega]

The two charmanders turned to the nidorino. One of them said, "They're aliens! We must purge them from our homes!"

Sombra was puzzled, "Wait a minute... Sunworld? What are you creatures?"

[wynnyelle]

"They are from the sunworld," said the nidorino, who was a bit older than the charmanders. He looked at Sombra and Zodiac. "Once you leave the sunworld you never come back...you have found your way down here to your new home."

[Omega]

"No!" exclaimed Sombra, "I ventured here in search of an Arceus."

[Jaemon]

"I'ma here with Sombra." said Zodiac.

[wynnyelle]

"Ahhh, the Arceus," said the nidorino. "There is no arceus here! But he is said to dwell in the sunworld...somewhere. To see where he is...you may come with me..I will lead you to the pools of Seeing."

[Omega]

"One thing," replied Sombra, "if you take me to the 'pools of seeing', will you let me return to the 'sunworld'?"

[Jaemon]

"Me too?" Zodiac added.

[wynnyelle]

"Any who look in the pools cannot return," said the nidorino. "But there is no way out of here anyway. Once a part of our world, you die a part of our world."

[Omega]

Sombra's eyes widened in disbelief, "No! I will not die here!" he yelled before running back up the cavern.

[wynnyelle]

The nidorino looked sadly back at Sombra. "There is no way out that we know of...but such is our fate. We are the guardians of the sacred stones."

[Jaemon]

Zodiac blinked. "Which way is up?" asked Zodiac.

[wynnyelle]

"There is no way up," said the nidorino. "Not from here. From here there is only down. But--you are visitors, from the Sunworld. Someone must take you down to the sacred pools for the unouns to tell us and you just what this means. Pokemon from the sunworld--they always arrive down here for a reason, on the rare occasions that they do."

[Jaemon]

"If there's a down, there's up" pointed out Zodiac. "And, about those pools, what if someone looks into them, then happens to find a way out? What would happen?"

[wynnyelle]

"The pools tell the future, and those who know the future are too dangerous to ever return to the world above," said the nidorino. "If you would like, I could bring you there, and they could look at the pools for you and tell you what they see...what is safe to tell you, anyway."

[Jaemon]

Zodiac folded his arms. "I would like to see the future," said Zodiac. "but I would want to leave. I wouldn't want to... live down here against my will."

[wynnyelle]

"It is not our will," said the nidorino. "It is the will of the Unowns. They rule over all...the Unowns are all knowing, all seeing...the Unowns decide who will go and who will stay. You have arrived here by their will and their will alone. No one sees the inside of these caverns without the Unowns causing it to be so."

[Jaemon]

Zodiac still had his arms folded. "You speak as if they are your ruler."

[wynnyelle]

"They are," said the nidorino. "From the beginning of time they have been the keepers of these caves and these pools. Their reach is all throughout Erymire, their collective mind is all-knowing. They have been speaking of unrest taking place in the land...and now you have arrived, bringers of news from the Sunworld."

[Omega]

"To hell with that!" yelled Sombra before dashing up the way he entered as a desperate attempt to escape.

[Jaemon]

"Look, pal," said Zodiac. "We don`t wanna stay here. It`s kinda why Sombra's trying to escape." He turned to Sombra, watching the umbreon trying to climb out.

[wynnyelle]

"There is no way out," said the nidorino, full of sadness as he spoke. "The only way out is if the Unowns will it...perhaps you can ask that they provide you the way out...You do not understand..."

[Omega]

Sombra stopped for a moment, "I came down this way, I can go back up this way!"

[Jaemon]

Zodiac sighed. "So they just summon Sunworld pokémon, then the Sun World pokémon stay down here?"

[wynnyelle]

ooc: remember, sombra fell a long, long way down into a river from a small passage.

"To say that no sunworld pokemon ever return to the world above is...not true, entirely," said the nidorino. "But if they return, it is by the will of the Unowns alone."

[Jaemon]

OOC: Should one of us go to the Unknowns?

"Is the Unknowns the cause of you being down here?" asked Zodiac.

[Omega]

OOC: Yes, but he can make it back to the underground beach.

Sombra kept running. Eventually, he reached the underground beach he was at just a few minutes ago. He looked behind to see if anyone had followed him.
