"Aww," said Rallin. "Maybe we can help you find your family?" He liked it here, but if Furiko was going to be sad then he wanted to do something to help him.

"I want to evolve before I go after them... I'm just not strong enough right now..." Furiko said with a touch of sadness over the real reason the horde hadn't taken him along with his family.

"I... was chased off by the horde because I was too weak for them to take interest in... and in order to save my family now, I must get strong enough to beat them!" Furiko said, "I have grown much since I was forced away by the horde, and with more work... I should be able to evolve." he finished.

Disaster had struck the flock.
Carni raced through the meadow, fleeing danger. The flaaffy had known all the time, in the back of his mind, that the solace he had found with this flock had been too good to last. Now all he wanted to do was escape with his life as the huge pack of mixed predators attacked and slaughtered his flock.
He had just seen his mother be torn apart before his eyes in a bloody, sparking shout.
