Soon, the group of young Pokemon were in the mountain meadows. A flock of mountain ampharos could be seen grazing calmly. This was the natal flock of Cottonflash, gundah of the mixed flock.
"Look!" exclaimed Rallin, running ahead a bit. "They aren't all yellow!" Some of the mountain ampharos were different tones. They weren't all simply yellow.
Lilly frowned. "They're all sheep," she said. She'd been hoping to see some miltank. But Rallin was right, this flock was sure different. All sheep, but they sure didn't all look the same.

Furiko looked upon the large flock, "Yes... they are all different colors... it's amazing..." he said looking at them all.

Duke gawked at the sheer variety of the flock. Ah, so this is why their gundah was so lenient, he'd grown up in a herd full of unique individuals, though not all different species. He was hoping to see other oddly colored Rhyhorn, but hey, sheep are sheep.
An extremely bright orange Mareep with black skin noticed the others quickly. "Heyyyyyyy! Lookieeeee!" he cackled, darting over to the newcomers with his fleece bouncy and vivid - he looked like a fuzzy pumpkin! "Who are YOU?" he squeaked. The very young Mareep had absolutely no common sense, and even now seemed a little crazy. He bounced up to Carni until he was merely a foot from the black's head. "YOU LOOK.. farmil-ee-er. HI! I'M Gashishwah! Or Gashi! What are your names?!" said Gashi.

"Umm hi," said Rallin. "I'm Rallin."  ;;; A little hyper....yeah...just a LITTLE hyper. Oh well. "Lilly," said Lilly. The miltank calf smiled. "Nice to meet you." The flocks eyomah approached the new comers. Her skin was a lime green. The ampharos smiled at the newcomers. "Phos's light. I'm Zania." She wondered why one ewe traveled with so many young ones. ooc: Lol yes Wynn Zilli has descendants that pwn as much as she does with their uber greeness. |

Duke gawked at the orange Mareep. "Uh... I'm Duke. Hello," he said carefully.
"Heehee! You're all weeeird!" snorted Gashi. "You should see this great stick I found! It look like a lightning bolt! So I stuck it in another guy's hair, hahaha! And he doesn't even know it's there! But it's making him get all these snarls and stuff and uh... This is our emoyah!" he smiled.

ic: Carni stared. He couldn't believe it. The sheep here all looked so different from each other, each of them. There were a lot of normally coloured sheep too but also a fair amount of ones as unique as he was. " Wow..."
" Yeah, it's pretty amazing!" said his mother.

Zania smiled. She was used to Gashi's ways. "You're welcome to stay here. This flock is known for its exceptance of everyone. Where are you from?"
"Hi," said Rallin. "We're from Cottonflash's flock. He's my dah." He looked at Gashi, curious. He'd gotten lost in the ramling's chatter, but it sounded funny. He giggled a little.
"Oh Cottonflash..yes he lived here long ago. You're more than welcome here," replied Zania.
ooc: and then the squirrel ran in the street and there was thiiiiiiis big ass truck coming and it was like GET OUT OF THE WAY and the squureel was like weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee and then the big ol truck was like wtf i dont care >> and it ran over the squirrel BUT the squirrels magical weeeeeeeeeeee made it invinsable and like it was all I AM SO UBER NOW BASK IN MY SUNSHINE OF AMAZINGNESS! .............LMAO! this is what happens when i am exposed to other super hyper things! wahahahah!

Begonia was still unsure whether it was all right to just stroll into this flock. She didn't want to intrude. " Is it okay if we just...join?" She looked to her gundah for the answer.
Carni waited to see whether they would reject him. He searched for other black sheep in the flock. Even if they were all colours here, it wasn't like being black, and they still might have a bad reaction to his presence.

Already Duke felt comfortable in the new area, but watched to make sure Carni and Begonia would be allowed. It would be great if they could stay in this flock. Hopefully with the rainbow of colors Carni could find another black to relate to.
But Gashi had already lost his attention span and was gnawing on a particularly tough blade of grass. "Ow... ow..... aieee..." it poked the inside of his mouth. Then he looked back at the newcomers and smiled. "Hi!" said the young Mareep.

Cottonflash nodded. "You all may if it is what you wish. Though you children...I'm not sure what your parents will think of this. I may need to talk to them more throughly. They may not be keen to loose their own children to another flock." He knew some wouldn't mind, some of the pokemon in his flock weren't terribley interested in their children's wellbeing. He chuckled. "I can always say you ran away."
Zania chuckled at Cottonflash. "Well whatever you decide, you are welcome here as long as you don't cause trouble."

" I'm coming here myself, with my son," said Begonia. " They wouldn't accept him in our old flock so I decided I'd had enough of this." She had wanted to remove him from such a horrible environment before permanent damage was done to him.

Cottonflash nodded. "In my flock myself and a few others were the only ones that looked upon Carni as an average mareep. Zania, if you'd be so kind to let them stay with you..."
"Of course," said Zania. The ewe nodded. "All of you are welcome here as visitors or flock members. This flock is a peaceful one. Though we are without our gundah right now, keep that in mind."

Duke did not miss his parents, at least so far. They held complete discord towards him, and saw him as just another kid. They were good parents, though, but the small Rhyhorn needed to do something worthwhile.

" Where'd the gundah go?" said Begonia. To her, that was normal, since in many if not most flocks the gundah didn't even come around to the ewe flocks until summer.

"Out gundah usually comes usually for late spring...but he didn't come last spring at all. We went a whole summer and fall without him," explained Zania. "I lead this flock with the help of a few rams that protect us."
Rallin looked at Duke and Lilly. "Wanna go meet the flock?"

Duke nodded. "Sure, Rallin," For not having a gundah for almost a year, this flock seemed to be doing fine. The Rhyhorn wondered what might have happened to their gundah, but shrugged it off and went with Rallin to meet the flock.

"Yes...," said Zania, sighing. "Luckily our gundah was getting old already..13 I believe. He would have been chased off soon anyway. The rams have all been fighting each other. I believe by fall there will be a sure gundah." She missed her ram, but she knew that he was either dead, or given up on coming back.
Rallin walked down towards the flock with Duke. He wondered what they'd be like. "Carni? Wanna come?" he looked back up at the black ramling.

Lilly had been day dreaming. Woops. She hurried down after Duke, Rallin, and Carni. The miltank calf wondered what this flock would be like. Hopefully nice.
Rallin grinned. "Let's go then." He took off again, moving towards the flock.
"Yes indeed," said Zania, chuckling. That was a true statement for sure if anything was. She smiled and looked at Cottonflash. "You'll be going now I assume? YOur own flock to take care of?"
"Yes," said Cottonflash. "I just wanted to see that they arrived here safely. Thank you. Phos's light."

Cottonflash smiled. "Phos's light to you all. Thanks, Zania." The gundah ram then turned and headed back for his homeland and his own rude, but comfortable flock. There was a flock for everyone.
"Bye Dad!" yelled Rallin, seeing his father gone. He smiled, seeing the ampharos's lights flash a goodbye.

She should have mated with him rather than the one that had mated her last fall, a gruff, huge, heavy ram with one ear who'd made his living travelling from flock to flock. He was Carni's father and she wondered if Carni would meet him one day.

Duke coughed. "Well, now that all the goodbyes have been said," he started. "Let's get a feel of this flock, who's who, what's what, et cetera," the Rhyhorn chuckled, watching Cottonflash meander back to the mixed flock.

"Ok," said Lilly. The miltank calf started to walk towards the flock. They didn't seem disgruntled at all that a group of younglings were joining up with them. That was good. She smiled as she walked, not wanting to look like a gloomy, depressed Pokemon.
"Yeah," said Rallin, a pang of sadness that he wouldn't see his dad for a while. He pushed it away and walked towards the flock.

Gashi, interested in all the jargon these strangers spoke of, stalked the odd group of young not far behind them. The grass hid the bright orange Mareep as best it could, but he kept wagging his sparkling tail over the cut. "YeeeeheheheeeheheeeeHWAH*cough*" *sniff*
Duke peered around, back at the very gross sound, but sighed upon seeing the little tail poking out from the grass. He shook his head and looked for a black Mareep for Carni.
