In Search of Justice

" I'll miss Cottonflash," said Carni. " He's my father too right?"

" No," said Begonia. " Your father's a different ram, a great, big, tough ram named Sevenlums. He will probably come around here in the summer."

"Was he a black ram?" asked Rallin, curious. He too glanced back at the pumpkin colored mareep. Oh well. He was probably really young. Rallin had been one of the first lambs born in the spring, anyway.

" No," said Begonia. " He was yellow, like me."

[fya]

"Oh," said Rallin. He wondered why Carni was a black mareep. It didn't really matter though. He searched the flock. No black mareep. But there sure were a bunch of unique mareep, flaaffy, and ampharos.

Carni felt let down. There were no black sheep here. He was once again the only one. But this was still a lot better than the flock he'd been born in. Here they were welcoming him already, as though he were a normally coloured mareep! " Yes--I'm black and no one knows why, except that I'm an ancient black sheep reborn."

One of the sheep--a little pale pink lamb--looked at him curiously. "Your ancient? That's not fair! I wanna be anicent too!" She had pale pink fur. It was fluffier than most of the others and she had light yellow skin. Her tail orb was a pale lavender, adding to her cotton candy like coloring.

Carni looked down at her and a grin came over his face. " No...you don't want to be ancient. Trust me. Best that you don't have that hanging over your head."

[fya]

"Why not?" asked the eweling. "You're pretty. And you're big. And you have a cool past. I'm an ugly ball of fluff and nobody knows anything about me."

[Master Chief]

Furiko sat and looked at everyone there. He had yet to say anything more since they arrived.

" I definitlely want to meet Sevenlums sometime," said Carni. He wanted to ask him where he got a name like that.

[Pax]

Gashi pranced over to the light pink Mareep, seeming quite disturbed, and addressed to her. "Aren't these guys cool?! And two of them don't even have fur! It's like they got hoof all over! Or mud or somethin!" The baby gawked.

"I heard that," snorted Duke. Then he chuckled, the little Mareep probably hadn't seen any other species before.

Carni cocked his head. " What do you mean, hoof all over?" He didn't get it. They didn't have feet all over!

[Pax]

Duke spoke to Carni, "He doesn't think rhyhorns are made of rock? I dunno." The Rhyhorn stared back at the little Mareep. "Uh... Gashi..? I'm not hoof all over, and neither is Furiko. We're rock types."

Gashi tilted his head, still confused. "Hoof?"

"No, rock."

".... Mud!" the baby squeaked.

[fya]

The cotton candy colored mareep giggled. "We've never seen no one like you guys," she explained. "And what are you supposed to be?" she asked, looking at Lilly. She'd never seen other flock Pokemon before. Only the occasional passing by typed Pokemon.

"I'm Lilly, and I'm a miltank," said Lilly. "What's your name?"

"Bailey," said the mareep. "I'm Bailey."

[Pax]

"And Furiko and I are Rhyhorns," said Duke, to clear up that they were not mud-covered Mareep. "Hi, Bailey. I'm Duke."

"And I'm Gashi!" repeated the orange. "Raaaa!"

[fya]

"Of course your Gashi," said Bailey. She giggled. "Rhyhorns...that's cool!" She smiled at them all and wiggled arounda little bit.

"I'm Rallin," said Rallin. "I'm a mareep."

"Duh," said Bailey, giggling. She was good at going into fits of giggles.

ooc: Rhyhorns have tough armour, but they aren't made of rock.

ic: " I'm made of...stuff that makes up alive pokemon," said Carni. He wasn't sure what to call it.

[Master Chief]

Furiko sat silently overlooking the large flock. He looked around at all of the colors. ~So many different colored pokemon...~ he thought to himself.

[fya]

"Aren't we all?" asked Bailey. "'Cause I am too." She giggled. It sounded funny to the young eweling and she went off into babbles of laughter. She even lost her balance as she giggled away.

Rallin looked at the giggling mareep. Oh well. There were always odd Pokemon. And a lot of them had been his friends. He pulled the off his face. Be civil, be civil.

Someday, perhaps, thought Carni, he would be gundah of this flock. And then the other flock that had rejected and scorned him would pay. It was surprising to him that he thought such dark thoughts on such a nice, positive day. But the plan was in his mind. " Yes...we're all made of the same stuff. Fur, skin, bones and blood."

[fya]

"I'm made of fairy dust," chirped Baily, still have giggle fits. This threw her into another and her little giggles turned into flat out laughes. The mareep tried to stop but ended up laugh-weezing. This, in turn, made her luahg -harder- and turned the weezes back into full fledges laughs.

" What's fairy dust?" Carni started to grin at Bailey just because she was giggling so hard. What a gigglebox!

[fya]

"What celebii's drop when they fly," giggled Bailey. "It's like dust...but all pretty colors!" Giggle. Giggle. Giggle. Did she ever stop? Probably not.

[wynnyelle]

" Really? Does it let you fly too? I think i heard something about that," said Carni. " But I never saw a celebi. They're pretty rare I heard."

[fya]

"I've never seen a celebii either. But I think since a celebii spreads it and celebii's fly then it must let you fly. I wanna be made of fairy dust. I think I'd be a pretty fairy," Bailey remarked. She didn't terribly like her colors on a mareep like herself, but she could see her pale soft colors on a fairy.

[Master Chief]

Furiko felt outside the subject and continued to remain silent, not that he knew anything about celebii anyways.

" Why would you want to be a fairy? You're already a pretty mareep," said Carni, then he realised what he'd said and was glad that his jet-black colouring made it imposslble for anyone to see when he blushed.

[Pax]

Gashi blinked, suddenly not getting the point, then abruptly got the drift. "But I seen Celebii! Remember, Bailey? The green thing in the sky that I saw? No one else saw it, but I did!" declared the little mareep. "I know I did! That or it was a Trowpee-is..."

(sorry, I was still thinking in the game's terms. armor it is!)

ooc: Well, maybe the armour can be made of rock if the pokedex says it is.

ic: " You saw one?" said Carni. " What did it look like?"

[Pax]

(okay, I'll look... It says it's bone. )

"Well I think I saw it," the orange ramling peeped. "Celebii looked very small, actoo-illy, but it coulda been far away.. and bright sparkly green! But that's all I remember." Gashi admitted. "Then it was gone, like, poof! Varnished."

Duke chuckled. "Are you sure it wasn't a flying Caterpie, haha!" he roared.
