Putty came back but hid a little in the grassand said "i do not know what happened but when i was eating my lunch...." he steped out of the grass, putty had become a with black fur, and the tactoo on his face was red and the tip of his flame on his tail was a solid green color

"It looks to me like you may have evolved," Elly said.

[Maru]

"ya......." Putty said "i do not know how it happened though, i was just eating and bang i evolved, maby i was close to evolving and when i was hunting i evolved"

[kratos]

"Seems logical," Elly said.

[wynnyelle]

"Er...whoa," said Inigo getting a look at Putty.

Rainbow stood up on his namesake tail and stared. "WOW!"

[kratos]

"Wow," Violet said, a little confused. What exactly did "evolve" mean?

[wynnyelle]

"Who are you?" said Rainbow, clearly not recognising Putty. This new monkey was not the same one he had become familiar with, not in his mind. Yet at the same time, its familiarity nagged at him.

[kratos]

"That's Putty," Elly said. "He did something we call evolving. What that means is it made him look different and made him stronger, but he's still himself."

[Maru]

"ya im still me" putty said luaghing "you see when you evolve you start to glow a bright white light, sometimes you get bigger nad others you get smaller. the way you act may change, and how you look allways changes. and you always get stronger, and your smarter and faster to"

Crimson stared in awe. "Eev... eevee... eeveelution?" he asked, thinking he had siad the word 'evolution' correctly, "What dat?"

[wynnyelle]

Rainbow stared with those huge cyan eyes. He blinked. "You turned into someone else?" He did not understand how someone could turn into someone else and yet still be themselves.

[kratos]

"He didn't turn into someone else," Elly said. "He just looks different."

[wynnyelle]

Rainbow studied the new, improved Putty. "Wow."

"Happened to us, too," said Inigo, "before you were born. Both yer mum and I evolved. I used to be a sentret, like you."

[Maru]

"my words right on the nose Rainbow." Putty said luaghing "if you work hard like your parents you can evolve someday to."

[kratos]

"Just know that when you evolve," Elly said, "you can never, ever turn back."

[wynnyelle]

Rainbow's face took on a serious look. "If *I* evolve...what do I turn into?" The idea of turning into another creature was frightening, yet fascinating, and the more he thought about it, appealing. "I turn into something better right?"

"You turn into a furret, like me," said Inigo. "You're the same kind as me--sentret and furret."

"What about Mommy?" said Rainbow.

"She's not the same kind, she's different," said Inigo. "She's part eon'n part Absol."

[kratos]

Elly nodded. "Eons as your dad called me, are very different. They can evolve into 1 of 7 different things. Absols, the other half of what I am, do not evolve."

[wynnyelle]

"You mean eevees evolve into different stuff," said Inigo. "By eons I meant the evolutions. There's lots different kinds, but their names all end in 'eon.' Thus. Eon being shorthand fer eevee-evolution."

"You mean Violet and Crimson can evolve into more than one thing?" said Rainbow. "Can they switch around?"

[kratos]

Elly shook her head. "No. Once they evolve once, they can't go back. They can't switch to something else."

[Maru]

"no they can't switch around but their are these stones that evolve them into vapereon with a water stone, flareon with a fire stone, and jolteon with a lighting stone. but their are two that don't use a stone, Espeon is sun and umbreon is moon. i'm not sure how you become leafeon and icyeon, and like Elly said once you evolve their isn't a way to turn back." Putty explained to the kits

Elly nodded. "So if you ever decide to evolve, be completely sure."

[wynnyelle]

"Oh." Rainbow thought about this, as he studied his two siblings in a new light. It seemed a little unfair that they had all sorts of evolutions to pick from and he only had one, but then, each of them could only evolve into one thing, and that was a final decision. And from what he saw, furrets didn't seem like any worse an option than eon, if that was what Mommy was. "I think i will evolve. But just not yet. Will I change colour when I evolve?"

"You might, a little," said Inigo, "but you'll prolly still be rainbow colours."

"Good," said Rainbow, standing up on his tail again. "I wanna stay rainbow."

[kratos]

Elly smiled. "Yeah. If you didn't, you'd have to change your name."

[Maru]

Putty luaghed then tryed out his new strengh by lunching a flamethower up in the air and jumped up with a mach punch then flame wheel fire spin mix. then falling back down "well it made my moves stronger but what about faster." Putty said Ran behind Rainbow without anyone see him

Rainbow gasped at the display of fire. "Wow....pretty."

When Putty ran behind him he leaped back and stared at him. Up close, Putty smelled of flammable gases and burnt things. It was a somewhat unsettling smell. Rainbow also felt the wave of heat still emanating from Putty and got a respectable distance away. He hadn't forgotten the first time he'd encountered fire.

"I think you startled him," Elly said.

[wynnyelle]

Rainbow ran back over to his dad, feeling safer there. He wasn't afraid of Putty hurting him intentionally, he just didn't like to be that close to the fire.

"It's okay Rainbow," said Inigo, patting his son on the shoulder.

Crimson watched happily. So he had 7 eeveelution paths. He didn't quite want to look like his mum, but 'Glaceon', 'Umbreon', 'Jolteon', 'Vaporeon', 'Flareon.'and 'Leafeon' stuck in his head.
