"ok thanks" Putty said starting to run west when he trips over a rock that was hidden under some short grass "ow that hurt but im ok"

ooc: Sorry I was away. 3 day trip with my school.

Violet sniffed one of the berries, trying to decide whether or not to eat it.

[wynnyelle]

"Eep, dun hurt yerself," said Inigo. "Take yer time, the stream will still be there when you get there, trust me on thattun."

[kratos]

Seeing that her brothers ate the berries and were ok, Violet decided to try some. The juices flowing over her tongue and down her throat made her want more.

Crimson kept scarfing down berries. A wierd feeling entered his stomah- a stomachache from the berries. "Gyaahh.... my tummy...! Maaaah...!" he moaned.

[Maru]

Putty came back fully quntched to see Crimson was holding his stomach in pain "umm is he ok?"

"Um, time to stop eatin berries, son," said Inigo. "You ate too many, that's why you got yuckies in your tummy."

Rainbow went over to his brother and gave him a nuzzle and a hug. "Poor Crimson. I make it better."

Crimson hugged is brother before rolling onto his back. He closed his eyes, drinking in the warmth of the sun.

Rainbow saw what he was doing, then laid down next to him on his back, too, deciding to try it. He stared up at the slowly moving fluffy white clouds. "I see a cloud that looks like a biiiiig Mommy head with her mouth open."

"Yeah!" Crimson chirped, pawing at the cloud Rainbow had mentioned, "Oooh! That 'un looks like Da!"

"Where? I dun see that one," Rainbow looked around in the skyscape for it.

[kratos]

Violet rolled onto her back and looked up. "I see it."

[Maru]

"o i see it" putty said pointing it out

Elly came and laid down beside them. She'd always enjoyed cloud watching. Now she was doing do with her children.

[wynnyelle]

"The Mommy head cloud is turning into two birds!" said Rainbow. Hearing movement around him, he sat up and noticed his two siblings and mother now also lying and watching the clouds. Excited, he smiled and lay back down. "Mommy there was a cloud and it looked like your head and now it's two birds pulling on a stick!"

"I see it," Elly said, excited her little Rainbow could already use his imagination so well.

Rainbow smiled and lay down again to watch the clouds some more. He was really enjoying this.

Inigo came home with something new, a buneary. But he hadn't eaten any of it himself. This was for his kits. He dropped the carcass near the family as they lay outside watching the clouds. "Hmmm...hope I'm not interrupting nuffin....but I got you kids a nice lil somethin new. Lunch."

Rainbow got up and ran to his dad and hugged him. "Hi Daddy."

Inigo hugged his son back. "Hiya Rainbow. Up fer trying some meat?"

Rainbow was already sniffing at the carcass. He began to tug at it, trying to tear it open.

Crimson popped up, trotting over to the carcass and trying to scratch it open. "Daaa!" he squeaked, "Open it Daa!"

Inigo could see that the kits couldn't open the hide. He tore it open, with his claws and teeth. "There ya go. Nice red bloody meat. Dig in."

Rainbow quickly began to eat it. The taste of the meat was new and exciting.

Violet took a taste. She was the cautious one, but if her daddy or mommy said it was ok, it must be ok. The taste of the meat sent her taste buds into a tizzy. She wanted more. She couldn't tear off meat very fast because of her small mouth. Shortly, she learned a new lesson. Always chew your food. When the meat got stuck in her throat, choking her, this became painfully clear. "Da..." She choked out.

"Uh-oh. You get it down the wrong pipe?" Inigo ran over and patted her hard on the back to get it to dislodge. It was extremely rare for an animal to choke; he had never seen it before, only heard of it happening.

Crimson dov into the meat, smearing his facce with blood. His only problem? His fur matched the tint of the blood, making it somewhat hard to remove.

Rainbow's white face had quickly gone to mostly red, as he ate the meat rather sloppily.

Inigo watched them eat, with a big grin on his face. "I can tell we're gonna have some serious cleanin' up to do after THIS meal."

Violet sat panting after her father had saved her life. "Tanks, dada," she said. She didn't know what would have happened if he hadn't done what she did, but she knew it wouldn't be good.

[wynnyelle]

"No problem, kinda strange that happened...um...I guess swallow...more carefully?" Inigo didn't know how to advise her on this one. He had never choked before and neither had anyone else in his family or circle of friends. He only knew the patting thing because it had seemed like common sense if something was stuck in her throat.

[kratos]

"Chew your food up," Elly said. "That happened to me once because I didn't chew enough. My daddy saved me."

[Maru]

"well im going to go get my own food for lunch" putty send leaving the the little area of the family

Inigo looked from his daughter to his mate. "What IS up with that? I never had that happen. What is it, something sticky or something making it stick? Or...mebbe a dry mouth or dry throat? Stuff can stick more easy when yer mouth's kinda dry, so...?"

[kratos]

"I don't really know," Elly said.

[wynnyelle]

"Well then. Eh, s'long as it dun happen again," said Inigo, "then I'm all good with it."
