Training the greenies {Sombra et al. also OPEN!}

Sliverpaw led them into a foul-smelling place full of pitiful moans and the rattling of latches and cell doors. The dungeons were massive, some cells bigger than others--but never very roomy. "Take your pick and get to your training. I have to get back to patrol so make it quick. Once you get started we'll escort you all to the Pits!" The Pits were underground arenas where humans had once forced pokemon to fight each other to the death. Now it was taken over by pokemon, and the Horde used it to the max for training. It was perfect.

Carni didn't know whom to select. He didn't want to kill any of these poor pokemon. How could he have gotten into this situation? What would his poor mother think? "Can we...pick...anyone?"

"I already said to get start with the picking! Pick anything," said the captain, lashing her tails with impatience.

[Omega]

Sombra scanned the dungeons, looking at the poor pokemon with utmost pity, but he didn't show an ounce of it. Although it pained him, he knew it had to be done. He walked over to a cell where a squirtle lay. He looked right into its tear ridden eyes and said, "You'll be my first."

[kratos]

Elly searched the cells. "I'm going to try and get myself pregnant before I fight."

[wynnyelle]

"Don't you know getting pregnant is a surefire way to make yourself worse in battle?" said Sliverpaw. "Then what, you get a mess of babies that need all kinds of care. so you're stuck in a smelly little den licking kits' butts all day instead of fighting and training!"

Carni went along the aisle looking at the poor prisoners. They all looked pitiful in there, but one that caught his eye was a huge one--the biggest ampharos he had ever seen. Much too big for the cell, he barely fit inside. He was buttercup-yellow almost all over, with slightly darker spots, and had long goatlike horns on his head as well as a row of horns spiking out from his neck and upper back. "...What are you?"

"You picked yet?" said Sliverpaw. She saw him looking the giant one over. "Oh him? Ambitious aren't we!"

[Omega]

Sombra was puzzled at the architecture of the cells, "Captain, how do I open this?"

[kratos]

"You yourself said you insisted I have my way with the prisoners. I intend to do that," Elly told Sliverpaw.

[Pidgey]

Raven fluttered from one end of the dungeon to the other, looking for a decent pokemon to get started on. When she spotted a sleeping Abra in the far corner of one cell, she knew she had found her target.

Tucking her wings back, she dove through the steel bars of the cell and perched herself on the Abra's head, waking the Psy pokemon with a sharp peck. "Up and at em, slave!" She cawed.

Elly looked through the bars at the prisoners, trying to pick one. She reconsidered for a second about trying to get pregnant, then fight. She decided it might be best to reverse that. She eventually settled on an Arcanine to fight.

[wynnyelle]

"Here's how." The ninetales used her front paw to fumble open a latch that was only accessible from the outside of the cage. "Don't let him get away!" She cackled with delight.

The squirtle was weak from having been kept in the cage some time without much food and only dirty water. He at first did not leave the cell.

[wynnyelle]

Sliverpaw grinned at Elly. "Have fun then! Pick a prisoner." She went to open the latch for the giant sheep Carni seemed to have picked. This would be fun to watch...

"I didn't pick...him..." Carni gulped. Maybe it wouldn't be a back idea to just pick the giant and let him kill him. Then Carni's troubles would be over.

[kratos]

Elly followed the ninetales' lead and opened the latch. The Arcanine came rushing out rather quickly using Extreme Speed, but she stopped him cold with Mean Look.

[wynnyelle]

Sliverpaw noticed the arcanine that Elly had picked. "Wow, another ambitious one!" She had expected the greenies to pick weak and scrawny ones. It was clear that Elly and Carni had bitten off more than they could chew, but if they died of their stupidity, oh well. Greenies were plentiful and cheap. Someone always seemed to be coming onto Horde territory wanting to join every day.

She opened the cages of the arcanine and the giant ampharos-like thing. "Part of battling is knowing how to choose your battles!"

[kratos]

Elly nodded, well aware what she was getting herself into.

[Omega]

The squirtle looked at Sombra with utmost fear.

Sombra glared at him with a bloodthirsty grin, in reality, he felt the complete opposite. "Say your prayers, squirtle," said Sombra as he attacked with a shadow ball.

The squirtle cried in pain as the shadow ball sent him up against the wall. A loud crack was heard. When the squirtle landed, a large crack ran down his shell.

Sombra closed his eyes and attacked with an iron tail.

The squirtle's weakened shell burst into pieces, revealing a soft, defenseless body. The pitiful squirtle was unconscious at this point.

Umbreon was horrified that he managed to cause so much suffering to another pokemon. However, he knew it had to be done and moved on for the kill with a take down attack.

The squirtle was knocked up against the wall, breaking many of its bones. With a single thud, the poor turtle pokemon's life was ended as it landed on the floor of the unforgiving fortress.

Elly charged a Shadow Ball of her own and let it fly into the Arcanine, sending him flying into the wall. She heard several bones break, which was to be expected sinc eher Shadow Ball at full power had leveled mountains before.

The Arcanine stood up and whimpered. "Pity," Elly said, letting her dark side show. "I was hoping you'd take longer to kill than this." She charged up another Shadow Ball and let if fly into the Arcanine's head. After the impact, there was no head left to speak of.

The giant amp-like creature stood up to his full height, which forced him to duck his head in the aisle. He looked down, way down, at Carni. "Yuh come fer ta try an' beat meh up? Ah hate tuh breaks it tew yuh but ah dun think yuhr gonna geh' vurrah far."

"Yeah...I mean no...." Carni gulped. The giant didn't seem like he wanted to hurt him anymore than Carni wanted to do this. Carni just didn't know where to begin.

"Well?" Sliverpaw stood and watched. "What're you waiting for, sheep? Move!"

"I didn't pick this one, you kind of picked him for me," said Carni. "I'd like a smaller one please."

"You two are doing excellent!" said Sliverpaw to Elly and Sombra. "Just the sorta fighters we need. If you can taike down pokemon that quickly I think we can start trying you out on raids." she looked back at Carni. "You! Wimp." She motioned for the giant to go back into the cage. "Get back in now."

The Dennukai blinked at Sliverpaw. "Ah think not."

[kratos]

"Want me to help?" Elly said, clearly letting darkness consume her heart.

[Pidgey]

When the Abra didn't respond, Raven gave him another vicious peck on the head. Abra's glowing red eyes shot open, and the Psy pokemon attempted to use his powers to rid himself of his pest. But Raven's Dark type made her resistant to his psychic powers, and with a single blast of Night Shade, the Abra was subdued.

Raven cackled; that had been too easy. With a quick scan around the cell, she soon set her sights on a new target; a Lickitung. Leaving the Abra to lay in a heap on the cold dirt floor, Raven perched herself on the Lickitung's head and repeated her nasty routine.

[Omega]

Sombra kept his mouth shut. He really didn't want to kill this creature.

[wynnyelle]

"Feel free!" said Sliverpaw. "Go right ahead. If you're up for more battle then go for it! I want to see what you can do. Sheep, you either start battling now or I'll have your fellow greenies prey on you!"

The Dennukai seemed to lurch forward. Without further words, he electrified, and then he came barrelling slowly but solidly towards Sliverpaw.

Sliverpaw quickly realised she was in over her head here. She sprayed a dose of flames at the giant.

The dennukai gave a bellow as the flames licked at his skin. Electrifying further he aimed a big bolt at the fox.

[Omega]

Sombra stood up, trying to prove himself to his new captain, "Get back in your cage," he stated, preparing for an iron tail.

[kratos]

Elly charged up her strongest Shadow Ball and aimed it at the Dennukai's head. "There's no surviving a head shot from this," she shouted as she let it fly. "It can easily level mountains."

[Catheri]

Abby had originally came down into the dungeons for a little battling, but instead she found a fight unfolding between a prisoner and- apparantly- some greenies a.k.a newbies. She shrugged her shoulders as she stayed and the entranced while gazing at the fight. She would intervene if she felt like it, but Abby realized that the other pokemon were- so far- in control of the current battle. Maybe it would be interesting. After all, she didn't know how capable these others were.

The shadow ball struck the dennukai in the chest, since the dennukai was too slow to dodge it. He bellowed and boomed with electricity, and toppled backwards, his flippers windmilling as he tried to catch himself. He ended up crashing into one of the cell doors and his weight tore it off its hinges. Luckily, it was empty anyway.

The electric shock left Sliverpaw in a convulsing heap. She kept on twitching and jerking, even though she was unconscious.

The Dennukai got up again and, still bellowing a war cry, thundered forward, his footfalls making the room shake. "Huzza gonner' stomp yuhs flat! Haaaoooohhhhh!"

Carni darted out of the way--he wasnt the greatest darter, but he was quicker than this monster.

[kratos]

Elly's fur began to get dark streaks all over, and her ears, tail, and legs got glowing rings on them. She'd evolved in the middle of battle in a very unique way. She launched a barrage of full power Shadow Balls at this giant.

[Pidgey]

Raven gave up tormenting the Lickitung when she heard all the trashing and bellowing from the giant pokemon in the next cell. She perched on the steel bars of the cell and watched the battle with interest.

[Catheri]

Abby was seriously considering intervening now. The Absol didn't like the thought of having a prisoner run around insane-like. That and- if it didn't sound so stupid- then it could release other currently captive pokemon, but then again almost every poke-prisoner here was so depressed and down that even the chance of escape didn't really seem to exist to them. Kinda sad. How this place was such a downer.

[wynnyelle]

The Shadow Balls again hit the giant, but by this time Huzza was already trampling the electricity-stricken Captain Sliverpaw, not realising she was probably dead already. But she sure was not going to get up and walk away from this one.

He bellowed and again fell back, this time he managed to catch himself. "Dun attacks me an' Huzza wun' attacks yews! Ah juss wanner ger' outta here!"

"Stop!" Carni was bleating as he watched the giant trample the now very flat ninetales. He could hear bones snapping in her body. "Just everybody stop!"

[kratos]

Elly couldn't stop. Her desire for destruction had become too great because of her evolution. She jumped up and launched a humongous Shadow Ball right into the giants head.

[Catheri]

Abby was now just bein angered. This had gone on for far too long. Not to mention the fact that now they would have to deal with an injured Silverpaw. 'Huzza' would probably attack them even if they weren't attacking him. Abby's nose twitched as she tried to come to a desicion. Aw shucks. What's the worst that'll happen? The absol leaped torward the pokemon as one of her limbs began to glow black. Night slash. She was aiming for the right shoulder. Huzza hadn't expected anyone to attack with his threat and was slightly surprised that Abby was trying to attack him. She managed to get a direct hit in on his shoulder, but not without getting some static. Great. She thought before landing on her feet and whipping around to face the prisioner.
