Chancol slowly strolled through the fortress, sighing in enjoyment of the idle time that was present. The dark green charmeleon had been wandering the fortress looking for a few pokemon that he had seen prove their worth during the recent attack on the fortress.
His search hopefully would lead him to a Lugia that had saved him once while cornered in a two versus five fight with his own odds on the low end, only accompanied by a ditto until the legendary sea creature had shown up. He didn't bother to ask around to help someone find Shade, since his recent plans couldn't get into the common word of the dark legion. Especially with that Absol in their midst the word couldn’t get out. Time would only tell if the traitor would abandon the Horde for a new alliance, spilling any and all valuable information for the Light to counter the Dark. Either way Chancol planned to put the confused traitor out of his misery, or depending on his mood, just throw the dog into the dungeon and allow its misery to grow.
As time went by the new Shadowlord's face dawned a grin as he saw the small scene unravel near the Fortress's entrance involving Sturdy's authority being shut down.

Shade had finally gotten back to his normal temperature after being stuck in ice for a few hours. Now, he'd been tasked by some others to report news the the new Shadowlord. He only hoped the pokemon wouldn't be hard to find, but he was sure it wouldn't be. He'd just follow the aura. By the Poke-Gods...why is it always so hard to find who I need to find? Shade murmured, looking around a bit more.
Thankfully, he spotted Chancol, only about half a mile away. He sped over, silently thanking for his fast flight. He stopped near the Shadowlord, landing and bowing. Shadowlord, I'm sincerely sorry if I was interrupting you, but I've been told to inform you of something. A pokemon in the high-level dungeons has been shadowed finally, apparently something to be brought to your attention. What did they call it...a Deoxys? Shade explained, not locking eyes with Chancol.

Chancol wasn't really used to the high level of respect that was given to him, "Hey, just call me by my name, alright Shade?" the charmeleon chuckled at the lugia. "Thank you for letting me know. A deoxys you say? This is going to be an interesting experience, now...remind me to talk to you and Zeelo about something I have in mind..." the dark green charmeleon turned and began his trek to the dungeons that were mentioned earlier, "Don't forget to remind me..."
Not bothering to stop on his way, Chancol found the entrance to where the legendary newcomer to the Horde was held captive.

Chancol sat on the top of one of the gatehouses for the only entrance to the Fortress...when it was fully erected long ago, when humans kept the complex in top shape before they disappeared. He looked around for the Deoxys and Lugia he had requested earlier.
He saw the umbreon that he had sent to patrol the Fortress, pretty sure she'd come across something out there, it wasn't just a pointless patrol, it was the beginning of her training. "Zeelo, did the former Shadowlord ever tell you what I had told her? Cause I require your assistance here, I cannot manage everything alone. These next few weeks, maybe even months could be the rise of the Horde. Only if we prepare first...one misstep and we could have that annoying attack force on us again," he sighed, knowing that the light had been crushed easily before, and this new plan would only make it so much easier.

Shade had just been training a bit in his free time, until he would be needed. He had just remembered what Chancol told him, and was now flying towards where he was supposed to be. Darnit, I lose track of time too quickly. Shade thought, stopping just as he got to Chancol. Hello Shadowlord. Shade said simply.

Zeelo listened before he spoke. "She didnt tell me a lot but I kmow its to do with the Elemental Stones," he said. He looked at the sky. He had just told Shade to meet them here and was now watching him approach and speak. Zeelo was intrigued about this plan but knew better than to ask. His old mistress had believed questions = pain so he had learnt against asking too much. Only telling and even then only to the right people

Luna walked up to Chancol, bowing as she got in front of him. "Please forgive me for interrupting anything, but I've found and succesfully killed a pair of ratata and a mankey. Is there anuthing els, milord?" she asked, still in her bow, just staring at the ground.

Chancol sighed, "Alright then, once the deoxys arrives, you, Deo, Shade and I are going to be visiting a place that very rarely members of the Horde go. I don't want to explain right now due to the fact of the many other Horde that might accidentally eavesdrop on this conversation. It's not that I don't trust them, but I don't want any to try to prove themselves and try to advance this plan any sooner than scheduled." The dark green charmander grinned "Since we have the power of teleportation on our hands, -and- a legendary, we will most likely have access to our destination than what we expected."

Deo suddenly appeared next to Zeelo, obviously from his teleportation. "I'm sorry if I'm late, Shadowlord." Deo stated simply, bowing his head. He was curious to what he had missed though. Why did Chancol need him, or just want to take him along? He shifted to his speed form, the tainted dark colors still remaining on him. "So m'lord, what do you require of me?" Deo asked.

Turning to Luna he grinned, "Well, you might as well stick with us. You're now at the point where you won't just be tortured if you let out any information. I will kill you personally," Chancol said coldly. The Shadowlord turned to the Deoxys, "Have you ever been to the Caverns of Evolution? I have no idea if that's what its called by the light, but its a point of interest for me."

"The Elemental Stone Caverns. Yes, I've been there before. Not frequently or recently, but I've been there before. Why, Shadowlord?" Deo asked, confused. What did the Elemental Stone Caverns have to do with anything? That fairly confused him.

~These guys mean business.~ Luna thought. She stood up straight and began thinking of every thing that could possibly be in the Elemental Stone Caverns possible. She shook it off. Obviously there was a good reason as to why the Shadowlord would want to go there, and that's what she went by.

The charmeleon chuckled, removing a brick that had been loose, showing a fire stone. "Ever since the Shadorlord before myself had arrived, I had been studying the aura that I now possess. What do you notice about this?" he grinned the stone had turned from a bright cherry red to a dark maroon.
Around the Fortress many pokemon began to notice that the Shadowlord's aura had disappeared from the further outskirts of the Fortress, Chancol had also started to learn how to control his aura's radius. Along with the lack of power on the outskirts, the power seemed to increase in the area that the aura still remained. The only difference in distance was only about fifteen yards, "Now after taking a look at the stone, have you noticed anything about your surroundings...or rather about yourself?"

It's a darker color. You implanted shadow energy into it? Shade asked. He was surprised, and more surprised when he felt a rush of shadow energy. It felt good, but it felt strong. Why, he wondered?
Deo also felt the rush of shadow energy, and he welcomed the feeling. He looked back to himself, and his surroundings. Everything was darker than before. "Everything's darker, more shadow now....oh! Now I get it, Shadowlord. That's why you want to go to the Elemental Stone Caverns. To put shadow energy in all the stones!" Deo grinned lightly. He knew exactly how to get there. "M'lord, I can get us all there in seconds. Just tell me when you wish to go there." Deo said.

Chancol grinned, "My apologies Luna if you feel pain, but I wouldn't really expect you to suffer too much since you're already related to the dark element," he nodded in satisfaction to the Deoxys. "We aren't going to go into the caverns when we get there, right now we need to learn who the guardians are of the cavern. The Light aren't dumb enough to leave a place like that unguarded."
"We shall take this stone, and hopefully we'll be able to find other small samples, unfortunately able to evolve a Horde member, but it shall push our research forward and help out with more of the planning and invasion. When you're ready Deo all five of us will transport to the surrounding areas, so Deo, don't teleport us inside, but we wanna be close," the charmeleon gave an approving nod to the deoxys.

Zeelo had been silent the whole time, watching the Shadowlord. As the extra aura was added Zeelo didnt feel much different. He had spent almost his whole life by the side of the shadowlord, new and old, and so has had access to the strongest of auras. As everyone finished and prepared to leave Zeelo spoke. "My Lord, would it not be sensible to send Luna into the caves first to check what guards there are and other things. After all no-one knows shes with the Horde do they?" he said respectful manner always present in his voice.

Chancol nodded, looking at the newcomer. "Then by what Zeelo has suggested, we shall have you go in first, scouting out the area, making any allies you can without showing your allegiance to the Horde. If anything goes wrong we might have to leave you behind, we cannot let the Light know about our plans, understood?" he said sternly. Then his eyes shifted to the Deoxys, "Teleport the newcomer to a spot where she won't be seen by anyone who is standing just outside of the caverns, then come back for us so we can observe and scour the surrounding area for broken pieces of evolution stones."

Deo listened to Chancol, nodding once he finished speaking. He understood exactly what to do, now just to focus on it. He floated next to Luna, closing his eyes and focusing on the destination. He simply put his hand on Luna, and the pair vanished.
Minutes later, he returned, breathing deeply, but trying to look tough. "Alright m'lord, she is there, out of sight for now. Do you wish for me to teleport the rest of you there now?" Deo asked.

"It's alright, we must make sure that Lara has enough time to get inside of the caverns, so no suspicions will be aroused about her presence," Chancol sighed, taking another look at Deo, he saw through his ruse, seeing that the legendary was a bit exhausted.
"Tell me, do you know anything about a regice name IV? While you were in the dungeons the Horde was attacked by a rush of light pokemon, which isn't my main concern. During the fray, the regice I mentioned earlier appeared and began to destroy our forces, but...he was a neutral force, he only came for a few prisoners," Chancol looked at Deo, hoping that he'd hold some truths to this subject.

Zeelo hesitated before saying, "If I may, sir... IV is an ancient regice who has lay dormant for hundreds of years, until a meer glacion woke it. Now, this legendary wants peace and happiness in the world. He wont join the Horde but I dont think he'll fight us agin either. I apoligise, I dont know much else."

Shade was a bit surprised. That Regice? He'd heard more about it than that. I know something about it. Apparently, yes, it does want peace, but it thinks the only way to get it is to destroy everything that fights. Hence, why it went to the middle of the battlefield. Shade explained. He was lucky he'd heard this from some residents of Erymire.

Chancol sighed to himself, "He's obviously not going to be a problem, unless the Light decide to start another war...if anything--since he hasn't shown up--he'll most likely stay out of the way. Time might be on our hands, since any reports haven't come back showing any Light activity," the charmeleon's gazed at the sky.
"Deo...do you have any idea where this regice resides? We may have to make amends and hopefully establish, a 'neutral alliance' so to speak, if he doesn't bother us, we don't bother him. The Horde might be all dark, but it doesn't mean we can't be reasonable."

Deo nodded, looking to the West. "Apparently he resides in the Western Mountains. I don't know where specifically, but seeing as he's an ice-type, I'd guess he is in the Glaciers." Deo said, feeling not nearly as tired now. "Didn't he try to end the war himself by going to the center and talking his way out of it?" Deo asked.

"Hmm...actually recalling on the event, he didn't try to talk his way into ending the war...he just asked for the release of a few prisoners, he didn't try to stop the fight at all once he got what he wanted, he just left," Chancol replied, pulling the memory from the back of his head.
"My apologies, but I have just realized one flaw in my plan...since the Light are weakened my the aura that surrounds me, the general area around the caverns would know of my presence, and we cannot allow that. Only if I had learned how to control this aura, I'd be able to accompany you, yet with this unfortunate turn of events I'll be asking you--with Zeelo in charge--to go without me. If possible at all, scout around the entrance, and try to find other places of entry, that way if we do assault the area, we have two or more options," his face showed disappointment, but only for a moment. He gave a nod to the rest of his group, knowing that the houndoom hybrid was an excellent leader for the small group.
ooc: just to make sure...Zeelo -is- a houndoom/umbreon hybrid, right?

Deo looked at the Shadowlord, then to Shade and Zeelo. He quickly realized that Shade's altered, darker appearance would be noticeable. "M'lord, if we are trying to avoid detection, why take Shade. He's large, and if spotted, his altered appearance with darker colors and other features would show him off as a member of the Horde. Why bring him along?" Deo asked. He could see Shade frown in light anger at him. Ah, I see, so you can get more easily overpowered and hopefully brought to Rayzor? Something inside him asked. Yes, his true mind. But the shadow Deo just mentally sneered. I'm doing this to keep us out of capture, fool. Now, quiet!

"Fine then, Shade will stay here, but the only thing that makes him different than you is that he lacks the ability to teleport," Chancol replied. "Now before either of you continue to bicker, Zeelo, Deo, I dismiss you to your duties. Zeelo, when back report to me, confirming Luna's safe return. Shade, you are to stay here, a sentry," having had enough with the tension between the two, even though he wasn't psychic, he could tell just by the look on Shade's face that he was agitated.
Chancol hopped down from the main gate, straight to the floor to discuss matter with a grovyle that had became a tocsin for his attention.

Deo simply walks over to Zeelo, and looks at him. "Whenever you're ready, I'll teleport the two of us." Deo said, crossing his arms, just being patient. He was happy the Shadowlord had a use for him, and didn't want to mess up this chance.

Chancol nodded as he dismissed the grovyle from earlier. He growled to himself as he flamed at the nearest chunk of concrete, not doing much, yet only for a charmeleon, causing a small amount of solid to melt into its liquefied form was pretty impressive in some eyes. Even though he knew this would occur, but he never expected it so soon.
