The grovyle nodded, "Its good to meet anyone who's still on the Shadowlord's side. Here's the story behind why you might believe that the Horde hasn't changed, since you arrived--I'm assuming here--about a few days after the Light had attacked, you hadn't seen the turmoil that everyone fell into, since the second Shadowlord disappeared. Oddly enough no one remembers how or why Chancol obtained the powers of the Shadowlord, we've even asked him, but he won't give us an answer," the grass-type let the information sink into Luna's mind for a moment before continuing.
"Once everyone had discovered that a non-fully-evolved pokemon was the Shadowlord, many pokemon refused to remain in the Horde, hoping to discover a way to extract the power for themselves. When the time of their discovery comes, most likely Chancol will be assassinated if he hasn't evolved for his last time. Do you sorta get what I'm saying?" he asked at the end of his explanation, a smile on his face to portray that he wasn't mocking Luna, but for some it was just a little too weird to follow.

Zeelo was sat very still, very straight and very tall, eyes glues forwards towards the place Chancols aura was coming from. Luna and the grovyle were way away from him and he waited alone.

Luna let the information sink in. "I understand," she told the grovyle. "I would think that a leader would be the one who leads the best, not how old or young or big or little they are. That goes for the evolutionary process too," she said.

"Hehe, thats what most pokemon believe around here, but the ones that left...not so much. Pretty much the Horde has been cut into about half of its original size, the normal born shadow pokemon aren't forced under the rule of Chancol, so we've somewhat have a natural immunity to the mind controlling effects of the Shadowlord's aura," the grovyle responded. "By the way, what's your name?"

"Oh!" Luna exclaimed. "How rude of me! My name is Luna. It's nice to meet you," she said, smiling.

The grovyle laughed, "You don't have to be so polite around here, but it's nice to see a soul that has some respect for her fellow comrades." After giving his response, a familiar dark aura enshrouded the Fortress, "Ah...the Shadowlord must be back. I'll continue making my rounds...just call me Blade. If you could, come back to me with some information about Chancol's plans every once in a while, I'd appreciate it," and with that, the grovyle quickly left the area.
~ Just outside the Fortress Chancol's body seemed to appear out of cloud of black sand, his body appearing from his feet to his head. After every last 'grain' had stabilized, the charmeleon casually walked back to the fortress ~Hm, this ability will help me very much later on during my reign,~ he thought as he stared to the sky.

Zeelo stood up, ears trusted forwards as a sound reached them. A familiar aura had reached him and it was seconds before yhe was running towards the source of it. He skidded to a halt as a very familiar green charmeleon came into view. "Sir, what happened???" he said.

Luna right behind, she bowed. "Welcome back, milord," she said, straightening up.

Zeelo was surprised to hear Lunas voice. He turned to look down at her. "Luna, please could you leave us for a moment. I must talk with my Master. Alone." he said firmly.

"Thank you Luna," he said as the she left. Turning to Zeelo, "What do you wish to talk about?" he asked, curiosity present in his tone of voice. As he awaited an answer, he quickly scanned the area in front of him, just to make sure that they were truly alone, wanting to make sure that if Zeelo's topic of choice could be dastardly as general knowledge, it wouldn't become so.

Zeelo watched Chancol carefully. "There are a few things I need to talk with you, Sir," he said, calmly. he fell silent for a moment, deciding what to start of with. "Firstly," he lowered his voice slightly, "what happened with you and Rayzor?"

Chancol chuckled, "Did my message get to you or does Rayzor's aura stretch that far?" he asked, but quickly moved on, taking on a more serious tone, "Well, first off I want you to tell me how many loyal pokemon we still have hanging around, cause the Fortress might not be safe anymore...just by me saying this you can probably tell what's coming in the near future." Chancol's expression reflected his attitude at the moment, letting Zeelo to piece together what might happen, and respond to his previous question.

The hybrid watched Chancol carefully. "Both sir. I got your message but I could sense Rayzor was there, his aura is stronger than yours at the moment," he said. He hesitated before answering the second question. "A good few sir. But as you know lots have turned away after the downfall of two Shadowlords..." he said, trailing off. That wasnt the reason at all but he didnt want to say to Chancol it was because they thought he was weak. "I'd still say a good hundred at the veryv least though, sir."

Chancol snarled, picking up instantly on Zeelo's fib about why many others had left, he knew the fact well that his weakness was the cause of the Horde's division, "Don't beat around the damn bush about why others have left! I know why already, it's been apparent since I first became Shadowlord. Yet, it's not like I've been Shadowlord for so long. I will regain my hold upon the Horde with an iron fist." Despite his tone of voice, Chancol was able to keep his body still, portraying his control over his anger.
Turning away from Zeelo, he summoned four alakazams, "We're preparing to leave, gather the loyal and bring them to the Ruins. Do not tell anyone that Rayzor might be stopping by to convert everyone. Just tell them that anyone who wishes to stay might encounter an unfortunate fate. That way there will be fewer opposing shadow-pokemon trying to kill me off," and with that last statement the charmeleon and the four psychics disappeared to their destination.

Blade saw Luna walking away from Chancol and Zeelo. The dark green grovyle hopped down from his "home"--in the Fortress it didn't really matter where you lived, you just had to claim it for your own--which was the eastern guard tower. Quickly approaching Luna, Blade quickly began to talk, "Luna, we have a serious problem..."

She looked at him. "What kind of problem?" she asked, trying to sound mature but her worry leaked through. She had a feeling she knew what the problem was.

Blade nodded, glad that Luna was willing to dig into the matter, "Well, a while ago I had been doing reconnaissance on a rouge group of shadow pokemon that were former Horde members," he began, glancing over his shoulder every once in a while, "but a while ago they had left for an unknown destination, which prevented the progress of my information gathering since I'd appear too suspicious after a while."
The grovyle began to walk back into the Fortress, motioning for the umbreon to follow, "Back to the matter at hand...I have discovered that once night falls, a few of the Horde that have 'returned' shall rebel and kill quite a few of the others in their sleep, since now there aren't enough pokemon to keep up a sufficient guard watch during the night. I need you to to follow along with me since I alone cannot kill every betrayer," he awaited Luna's response.

Luna didn't hesitate. "Of course. I've had to take care of myself for years. I can take anything they throw at me," she said, smiling. "I'm not about to let anyone hurt my new family, wether they see me as a family member or not," she added.

Zeelo pressed his ears against his skull and put his tail between his legs. "I-I'm sorry Master, I didnt mean to offend you in any way!" he stuttered. "I wouldnt dream of saying anything to upset you Master!" He whimpered slightly and crouched low to show submission. Zeelo was always taught by Amira to do this if he ever did anything wrong. Now though he screwed up his eyes and braced himself as though waiting for something to hit him.

Sending a shadow-message to Zeelo, Chancol chuckled, saying, "Don't worry too much about it, that isn't a matter to cause suffering over. I may be an odd ruler, but I don't hurt any loyal friends or allies, now go make sure that everyone is on the move to the ruins that will follow, we're heading for a new destination." The little charmeleon already had an idea for a new base of choice if the Fortress did truly become converted by Rayzor.
~
Meanwhile, Blade nodded to Luna's willingness to assist, "Well let's get to work our first target will be another umbreon, supposedly he's inside the northeastern bell tower awaiting for night to fall. If that's true then we don't have much time." The grovyle began to move, motioning for his companion to follow.

Luna nodded. "Alright," she said, trotting after him until she was next to him, then slowed down. "Is the umbreon one of those rebels you were telling me about and is he something we should be cautious about?" she asked.

[size=1 Zeelo stood straiht again, suprised by the lack of violence. He nodded, sprinting off in a different direction. [/size] A black moltres flew above the area, watching closely. A lot of activity was going on below him and it was very interesting...

ooc: It's Thanksgiving break, yet I'm bored out of my mind T-T
ic: Chancol noted the black moltres before it left his line of sight. Deciding that the Ruins was too far away to create a constant teleportation rune without burning up too much time, so he and the four other psychic pokemon adjusted their location.
- Blade shook his head at Luna's question, "Nah, this guy isn't one of the stronger pokemon of the group, but he is the signal for the revolt to begin. Like you, the yellow rings can and will glow on command, when he gives his golden head ring a flash or two before we get there, we know it's too late and we'd have to quickly try to reinforce our allies that are few in number at the moment," his last statement was referring to pokemon that tended not to stick in packs of sorts, unlike dogs, cats and other types of pokemon. Charizard were the main worry since despite their closeness to one another as their younger evolutions, the independence that flight gives them hugely affects the time that they spend together.

Zeelo skidded towards Blade and Luna. "Blade, Luna," he acknowledged. Zeelo was second-in-command in the Horde, so he was as well known as Chancol, more well known by most pokemon as he tended to speak with the lower members, which Chancol never does, as well as with the higher pokemon like the alakazam, which Chancol spoke with a lot. "What are you two doing now?" The moltres flew over again. The charmeleon appeared to be in charge. Why would they let a little lizard like that rule the mighty Horde? he thought to himself. I could do a much better job. Then his eyes fell to the houndoom/umbreon hybrid. "Urgh, disgustiong!!" he said, hovering in the air and grimacing. "How could that thing be allowed in nature!?" His voice was loud; loud enough for Chancol to hear, but not loud enough for anyone else to. "And thats a high raking pokemon? I thought the moss covered Charmeleon was bad!"

Blade had to make a quick decision, questioning whether or not Zeelo's knowledge about the situation would affect the outcome of his objective. After just a split moment's hesitation Blade decided to give up what information he had, "At the moment we're leaving to stop a rebellion/ambush, but we don't have much time now, either you're with us, or, please--with all due respect--stay out of the way. Luna let's go..." he said, turning away from the second in command and rushing off into the Fortress.
~ Chancol was quite annoyed by the large bird's ranting, and was ready to take action, but his calmer nature had the hold of him and decided to give the bird one last chance for freedom without confrontation. Of course he allowed the four psychic pokemon to keep an open mind link with him so when he was ready, they'd assist him without a word.

Zeelo nodded, turning away from the two to go and do his own job. The moltres tutted. "Look at the state of this place. I knew the Horde wasnt like its former glory but this is ridiculus! Its a bunch of clowns who think they can be called evil if they pull enough wierd faces and trip up enough old pokemon. Its depressing to look at. However it is also amusing so I will stay," he finished, swooping over to one of the boundry walls. He fluffed out his wings to catch the air, and he landed safely on the wall, folding his black wings back. He would be invisible in this area, if it wasnt for the eerie blue flames billowing around him.

Chancol sighed, suppressed his dark energy, and was instantly teleported to where the annoying bird was perched. Appearing as a normal charmeleon--aside from his green scales--he asked the bird, "Would you rather be the Shadowlord?" Chancol loved playing mind games so he wouldn't pass up on the chance to mess with this bird's head.
~ Up within the northeastern bell tower, the rebel umbreon woke up from its slumber, sensing the falling sun. As the landscape took on more of an orange color, he smirked, knowing that no one would suspect a rebellion with such a large force within the Fortress.
Blade arrived at the bottom of said tower, telling Luna to go ahead of him, not because of fear, but if Luna could first engage in combat to throw the umbreon off, then Blade could appear to be 'assisting' the umbreon instead of Luna. "Listen..." he began, looking at Luna, "they still think that I'm on their side, which is the only reason why I'm telling you to go ahead, if they see me followed by you they'll know that something is up but if you attack first and I show up, whoever is up there--I don't know how many there will be--will think I'm going to help them out by killing you, but it'll just be the exact opposite, get it?" he said with a smirk.
