Moving Again

[Sepheroth]

"Hey, Chiller. If you're not to tired, wanna train with me?" He asked getting up.

[fya]

"Oh sure!" said Chiller. She looked away from the running ponytah and looked back at Sepheroth. "Sure, sure." A bagon was a good challenge. He was shorter than her, but much heavier. And harder. She dropped into a fighting crouch. "You first."

[Little John]

"zzzzzzzzzz...no worse.....zzzzzzzzz." Ace was sleep-talking.

[Sepheroth]

"I'm gonna gum ya!" He said as he launched at Chiller, wrapping his gums around his teeth to dumb the blow.

[fya]

Chiller laughed. It sounded so silly, the way Sepherorth said it. She felt his gummed teeth hit her shoulder as she began to dodge away. She'd been too slow. Her laughing had slowed her. ~Practise or not, I can't get into dumb habbits like that,~ she thought as she gave him a punch in the side.

[Sepheroth]

Sepheroth rolled with the punch (literally) and came back with a rage attack, again dumbed down.

[Pax]

Due to the quick startup, Nura caught Pax off-guard and gained a good lead. "Oh geez..!" The foal ran after her as best he could, but their speed was so closely matched that he couldn't yet catch up. But it felt nice to run after walking for so long!

[Little John]

"zzzzzz...Worse then Rixun.....zzzzz." Ace snored louder.

[fya]

Chiller took a quick step backed and jumped down to ready a quick attack for when Sepheroth striked.

Nura glanced back. She was running strong and she saw Pax was as well, but her head start had given her the true advantage. To make the race more exciting, she breifly slowed to let Pax catch up.

[Little John]

Ace slept silentley for the rest of the day.

[Sepheroth]

Sepheroth had seen what Chiller was doing, but he couldn't stop it and got knocked away. He got up, panting. "Man. I think it's best to stop...please?" He said, a little banged and bruised.

[Pax]

Pax noticed Nura slowing down. He thought it wasn't exactly fair, but let the thought slide and continued at his speed. The foal eventually caught up, and when they were neck to neck, he smiled to her. "Now that we're even... Go!" The race had just begun. Pax pushed himself to run faster.

[fya]

"Yeah yeah ok," said Chiller, taking a step back and straightening up. So her hard work at home had made her stronger. Good, good. "Nice match," she said with a smile to Sepheroth. "By the way...what do you evolve into next?"

Nura grinned and buckled her head down to gain more speed. She picked her pace up and sped across the knolls that made up the foothills. Her ears heard nothing else but pressure and the thumping that she and Pax made when their hooves hit the ground. She was free. Running made her beautiful and free like the wind.

[Little John]

It was turning into sundown and Ace had just woke up. "So, what did you all do without me?"

[fya]

"Pax and Nura are racing and Sepheroth and I had a mock battle," said Chiller. "What's up with you Ace?"

[Little John]

"I had a dream that I can't remember. But I do remember these points. The Desert, Pond, Swamp, and Mountains. I ownder if they mean anything." Ace tried to remember.

[Sepheroth]

"Oh, I evolve into a Shelgon next." He answered, looking slightly preoccupied. -I wonder what my team is doing without me.-

[Little John]

"Im sure that you will be able to evolve soon." Ace smiled at his new friend. "Oh yeah, I just need you to fill out some paperwork before we can let you adventure with us....."

[fya]

"Mountains, swamp, desert, and pond huh?" said Chiller. "Weird. Who knows..we can go to them if you like. And what's paperwork?" She looked at Sepheroth. "A shelgon..what are they like?"

[Little John]

"You wouldnt know. I was kidding. That would be sorta cool. i thik Im supposed to go there. Maybe the desert first." Ace tried to think how they would survive in the desert.

[Pax]

The rolling hills and open space greatly appealed to Pax. This was fantastic; running with all his might, the wind feeding his flames, and their whole group headed into the unknown. Seeing Nura's strategy, he too lowered his head, and shifted from running warthog-style to letting his strides go farther. So with each prance, it felt like he was flying.

(plot time..? we are close to the Horde *gasp*)

[Little John]

Ace watched Pax and Nura run. "They seem to be made for each other." Ace wondered if this would set them back.

[fya]

ooc: Well the Horde could come and be trouble...maybe they'll be on their way to the desert and a squad from teh Horde ambushes them? Right now though it wouldn't be a bad ambush because the Horde is currently fighting itself for power. ^^

ic: "Desert ehh," said Chiller. "If you want..but lets wait a day or so. Pax loves it here. He did at the volcano too and we shouldn't keep ripping what he likes away from him." She wrinkled her nose. "No one will like the desert anyway. We better make it quick."

Nura saw that Pax was catching on. Her hooves drilled the ground faster as she felt another dash of energy kick in. This was what she loved. This was flying to her. Really, she wouldn't want to fly. There'd be no ground to kick!

[Sepheroth]

"Oh, I've seen a Shelgon. She was in a rival rescue team. They're like big balls of white with thing black stripes every so often around the body, a black circle in the middle with the two yellow eyes, and black and red legs. They're really cool. And after that, I can get to be a Salemence and fly!" He said estatically.

[Pax]

(Ah, okay. Sounds good.)

Pax, seeing the filly pull away once again, gave off another burst of speed that died so quickly it felt like he hit an invisible Rhyhorn. Still quite young, the foal was not used to such strain. He fell far behind, eventually coming to a stop. "Ugh.. you win, Nura," he chuckled, panting.

[Little John]

Ace saw them finish. "Pax couldnt hold it forever I guess."

[Sepheroth]

"Yeah, it was." He said. He remembered being young, but then flashes of a bleeding salamence came to his mind. He shook it away.

[fya]

Nura let out a good natured, laughing whinny. The older filly slowed down and made a circle to end up back next to Pax. She had learned not to slow abrubtly, it was extra unessessary strain on the legs. She nicked at him. "Good race, Paxy. You'll get faster."

"A big ball of stone?" said Chiller. That sounded boring to her. But if Sepheroth said it would be cool, then she guessed it probably was. "Yeah I learn to fly as my final evo too. I get to be a charmeleon next. I'll get taller and stalkier."

[Little John]

"I become a Torterra next. Its a big....thing that has rocks and trees on its back." Ace tried to remember it.

[Sepheroth]

"Then that would be your third evolution. You won't evolve any after that." He stated. He took a few more berries and tossed them into his mouth.
