Chiller sighed. "Fine," she grunted. "I'm going hunting." She slipped off, letting them sleep and found a ratatta. An easy kill for her, she had soon killed and eaten it and was walking back towards the group of her friends.

With a snort and an ear twitch, Pax disdainfully woke up. He wanted his mother badly, as he was still a foal, but with a sniff he remembered where they were. ".. neh... What are you two talking about?" asked the Ponyta. He'd been too distracted to feel this shady presence.

"Its ok," said Chiller smiling at Ace. "If you never worry then your fears will catch up with you one day and you'll have a cirsis." Someone had said that..some char that made everything sound good. When she said it, it sounded lame.

".. I hope we don't run into anything," Pax said worriedly, suddenly feeling whatever it was they talked about. He tried to suppress the feeling and ate a breakfast of berries. He would have looked for a nice patch of grass, but he couldn't eat the greens yet.

Sepheroth came running across the hills, headed straight for the group. "AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!" shouted the little bagon. He saw Pax and almost litterally fell over. "THEY'RE OVER HERE TO?!? i THOUGHT I LOST THEM AT THE VOLCANO! CAN'T THESE PONYTA LEAVE ME ALONE?!?" He shouted. He continued running, but fell over a rock. A stampede cloud was seen not to far off. The cloud was mixed with fire of ponyta and rapidash from the volcano.

Pax, terrified by the sight of the stampede, whinnied and reared up. "We have to get out of here - this herd won't stop for anything!" He leapt behind a fallen tree trunk. As a Ponyta, he knew the stampede would jump over the trunk and continue on their way without seeing them hiding. "Ace, Chiller, Mim, get over here!" He wondered what the dragon would do...

Sepheroth looked up. He saw a small log and decided to crawl in. He waited for the stampede to pass before coming back out. He peered out at the others that had been staying there. "Um...sorry for interupting you. What is a diverse bunch like you guys doing out here?"

ooc: Can we say that Sepheroth did something on accident to upset them? Because we've already played the herd from the volcano and they aren't that narrow-minded lol.
The herd soon settled down seeing that the spook was gone. THey'd left the young in their meadow home near their volcano, so Nuru had supposedly been left behind. But the filly had been itching with excitement and the chance to find Pax again. And seeing the way the adults had taken off, she'd done her best to keep up.
"Pax!" The buckskin colored ponytah ran up to her friend. "Are you ok? They saw a dragon or something..and took off. So I came." She grinned at him.
"You mean him?" asked Chiller. The lava rock colored charmander nodded to where Sepheroth peered out from. "What happened, anyway? And who are ya lil fellow? I'm Chiller."

Sepheroth creeped out of the log, still shaken from the stampede. "I'm...Sepheroth. I'm from the beach. What happened was that I was trying to fly, but I accidently fell on a rock near that herd of ponyta. I spooked them, I guess, and ran down here." He hung his head.

"Oh," said Nuru. She smiled at him. He was a cute little dragon. "There's been a pack that's been after us so we've been easily spooked. I'm sorry for our behavior..are you all ok?" Her voice was cheery and sounded much like a songbird. There was no wonder why she was the most wanted filly in the herd.
"Yeah..I think we're all ok," said Chiller. She grinned at Sepheroth. "Learning to fly? Don't you have to wait to evolve like me?" asked the charmander.

Chiller giggled. "Did your mah ever give you a ride?" She figured that his mah had, and that had probably spawned his great craving for his wings. She craved her own, but she wasn't obsessive about it. She wanted her wings, but she liked how she was. She was a stocky charmander. She was more defined then most charmanders and her grey skin with her black leopard markings made her stand out in a crowd.

"Well...thing is...I was born on a beach. I was adopted. After I grew up, I helped around there with a rescue team. That was fun. After helping, I decided to go out on my own. I never knew my mom, but I have a feeling inside that just can't be satisfied until I can fly."

Pax came out from behind the log, and was thrilled to see Nura again. "Hi..!" he coughed. "Geez... you guys are scary when you're in a stampede like that..." he slowly calmed down while listening to Sepheroth. "Fly? But you look so bulky and.. chubby," the foal said honestly, sniffing the Bagon.

"Yeah...I get that alot." Sepheroth said to Pax. "And for the rescue team...well. Where I used to live, there were a lot of natural disasters. So some other pokemon and I, an Abra, a Cacnea, a Dewgong, and I, all helped around the town with things. Like if someone fell down a ravine, or if someone got lost in the wilderness, we were contacted to help them." He explained.

Pax raised an ear. This rescue team thing sounded like a very nice thing to do, maybe something he'd someday look into. "Wow... that's really cool," the Ponyta blinked. "By the way... I'm Pax.." he said shyly. He still didn't trust the predator, but Sepheroth sounded different for helping others.
