Sukun worked to stay at the lead of the four older and bigger aerodactyls as they flew to the caves. His sharp eyes inspected the rocky walls looking for a good cave to fit the four of them. Soon he'd hit a growth spurt, so it was best to look for a big one.

[glow=red,2,300]ooc: I forgot I made Drogoth 5 foot in his character sheet, but he is still growing.
Drogoth smiled, the small black aero seemed eager to lead the way, so why not let him? Aero seemed a little quiet, the grey aerodactyl pulled up next to the red one "You alright Aero?"[/glow]

Sukun's sharp eyes peeled over the caves, searching for one that looked somewhat hidden. A hidden looking cave was a safer one. He soared in closer to the rocky wall and was able to see that many of the places that looked like caves weren't even caves at all. That was good, for that would trick anyone looking for them once they had a home.

[glow=red,2,300]"I've always preferred the forest so I am unfamilar with the caves around here, did any of these connect with you caverns underground, Akeer?" asked Drogoth as he circled around the mountain face.[/glow]

Akeer shook her head. "There weren't any entrances or exits for the longest time, so I... made one," she chuckled at the thought. "It connected to one of the deep cavern mazes, which, I'm pretty certain, connects to all the caves to a degree." The white recalled her many years spent in the underworld, and was already excited to see it again. The darkness had grown to be her home, and she was well adapted to its antics. The fingers on her wings were more adept at clawing and clutching things. She had learned to walk on four limbs rather than just her two back feet.

"You doing ok, Akeer?" asked Sukun, looking back at her. He knew she hadn't flown much for a while. "What about that one?" he said, pointing a claw at one of the caves that looked like all the other tiny ones but was darker. Maybe it was bigger. He flew towards it curiously.

(hooray!)
"I'm great," Akeer said with robust, and glided down to the cave Sukun spotted. She carefully landed on the cliff edge and peered inside. The opening was small, but the inside was likely much bigger than the eye revealed. Akeer let out a strange, high-pitched call that echoed into the cavern. A few seconds later, her eyes widened. "This one is taken.."
A gigantic Steelix bolted into the open, awakened by the echo. "WHO GOES THERE?!" he roared at the trespassers. This huge creature even looked like he was about to explode with fury, his eyes bloodshot under a steel hide.

"Holy pokegods!" grunted Sukun, taking a few giant wingbeats away from the cave. "Come one guys," he said, flying up. He picked up alititude quickly. A big ol steelix was plain trouble. Not worth messing with.

Aero followed, "Steelix... hate them, they always like to try and use Iron Tail on ya!!!" he said as he got into the air.

Akeer shook her head no to Grey. Even if all four of them took on the Steelix, the energy wasted wouldn't be worth it. They'd have to look for another cave; maybe later on, when they were older, they'd pay the grumpy steel snake a second visit. Akeer jumped into the air off the cliff, then flew back with the rest in search of another cave.
The Steelix snorted proudly before returning to his abode to sleep.

Sukun gained altitude quickly and moved east away from where the steelixs' network of caves probably were. He kept his eyes sharp looking for a good cave.

[glow=red,2,300]Drogoth chose to follow for he had not been in erymire for very long at all and Sunkun's territory was the first he had laid claim to. For the grey aerodactyl's origins were from the far south and he was untrusting towards his new clan, Aero probably being an exception so far.
ooc: aero only is cool and all but why not let other species join?[/glow]

Akeer had never seen the outer spectacle of the mountain range, so the whole ordeal was new to her. Looking around, she spotted a skewed hole near the top of a mountain peak. "Hey, look over there," she said to the others. The white glided in closer. This time she did not land, but with frequent wingbeats hovered before the hole. She made that same high sound again into the cave, but did not react - it was empty, and deep.

ooc: Because there are plenty of other boards where all Pokemon can go and therefor there can be a special cave that the clan lives in and can be in sometimes. We can always move them off to other places to hunt and such.
ic: Sukun followed Akeer in towards the cave. "Empty. Awesome," he said. He was itching to go in and see how big it was, but instinct told him to wait a little. Something could still react...couldn't it? And why plunge himself into danger by going in without a thought.

[glow=red,2,300]Drogoth landed and walked into the cave without even pauseing. As he continued in his eyes adjusted to the light. The stalagmites were not very tall and there was plenty of room, there were even passages connected to the cave. The grey aerodactyl grinned proudly and looked over its shoulder back at the others and nodded.[/glow]

"Awesome," said Sukun as he took in the sights of the large cave. He looked around through the dark and waited for his eyes to adjust so he could make out the tunnels. "I like this place," he said, knocking a stalagtite off the roof of the cave.

When Grey gave the okay, Akeer walked into the cave bearing a grin. Her eyes adjusted in a snap, revealing series of rock formations and mosses. The peak of this particular cavern was too high of an altitude for heavy rock serpents like Onix or Steelix, let alone pesky Zubat colonies. She soon found a slightly raised, comfortably wide perch filled with moss, and without word, jumped onto it. "I call this spot," said the white with a smirk.

Sukun laughed and quickly found a spot for himself. He went a little farther and found a small cubby like hole in the wall. It would fit him for now and he flew up a little so he could crawl in. "This ones mine," he said, though he knew none of the others would fit in it.

[glow=red,2,300]Drogoth looked around the cave and all the spots seemed to have moss in them, he hated moss. The grey aerodactyl snorted and walked back to the entrance of the cave crawling on all fours. He stood up on his hind legs and leaned against the cave entrance and folded his arms and crossed his legs as he looked to his side starring out over the valley. A breeze came and rustled his wings as he stood there, "Where are you, Father?" Drogoth muttered to himself as some smoke drifted from his nostrils. [/glow]

Akeer chuckled as Sukun found his little coop. She was wondering where big Drogoth was going to establish himself, but the gray wandered onto the landing outside the cave. She raised a brow and frowned. The female could trust Sukun, and possibly Aero, but Grey? Not knowing any details, Akeer made a note to keep an eye on him - for now.

[glow=red,2,300]Drogoth stood still, listening to the sound of his own breathing. He pondenerd over the odds of four aerodactyls meeting up with each other, his species was very rare and it seemed too unreal to happen by shear coincidence. He considered what he had to gain by an allience, and what seemed to be the best out come was having friends. He was starting to trust Aero, he seemed good natured. But Akeer and Sunkun he was not sure of, whcih was why he had yet to reveal his name to any of them.[/glow]

ooc: Well...trust is hard to come by ain't it?
ic: Sukun watched as Grey left the den. No skin off his back. He didn't care whether they all stuck together or not. Grey was just too shadey for his likings. In his opinion and from his experiance, if your life was worth being shadey about, you must be up to no good. And the big gray aerodactyl seemed to dismiss him easily just because of his size and age.

[glow=red,2,300]ooc: Indeed, though you did say Sunkun was evil, Drogoth is not. Drogoth never moved from the cave's entrance as he stared out over the valley watching various types of pokemon, deciding which ones suited his taste. "The herds have returned, so it seems" he said to no one in particular. He glanced over his shoulder at the small black aero in the cubby hole, "Give me a hollar when you become hungry Sunkun, we could hunt together and perhaps become better aquainted" said Drogoth with a smile, though he faked it slightly, there was a bad feeling he had about Akeer and Sunkun that he did not feel with Aero.[/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]ooc: hehe, yeah, in your first post with him. I like the chibi ying yang aero too.(%)[/glow]
[glow=red,2,300]ic: An aerodactyl grey from tail to wings to nose looked out over the windswept valley below his mountain and could see a small flock of ampharos and their ilk grazing in the valley far below. As he stared his sharp eyes spotted a small red colored houndour moving low through the tall grass towards the mareep of the flock. The black slits in his blood red eyes narrowed as he starred. He turned around, his back facing the edge of the cliff, as he looked back into the cave at Sunkun. "Very well then" said Drogoth with a small nod, his deep voice echoing off the cave walls. Without warning the aerodactyl folded its wings on its arms in a flash, and jumped backwards doing a flip with a half twist in it and fell nose first towards the earth. The wind whistled as Drogoth gained speed in his free fall turning slowly as he kept his eyes on his target. At the last possible second he spread his wings and pulled up flying forward in a flash a few yards off the ground. The aerodactyl let out a high pitched screech as he flew over the amp flock making them duck as flew over their heads. The red houndour was now yards from the mareep picking out the one it wanted when it heard the screech, it looked up just as Drogoth's talon's closed over his face and neck, Drogoth clamped his talon's down hard and used the houdour's head to skid to a stop on ground tearing up its face. The dog did not howl in pain for long for the aerodactyl then quickly clamped it jaws around the dogs neck and with a strong bite snapped it cleanly. Drogoth stared piercingly at the woods turning his gaze back and forth slowly before picking up the body by the scruff of the neck and holding it up. The aerodactyl roared, as if daring any other predators to enter his territory. With a snort he tossed the corpse forward to let it rot where it lay and he took off into the sky flying back to the cave.[/glow]

Already impressed by the backward flip, Akeer stood up and walked over to the entrance on all fours. She watched the big gray zoom across the sky, lowering to the point of hitting a Houndour straight on and snapping its neck. The white was not yet strong enough to sever a spinal cord, but she'd already choked a girafarig buck to death. She grinned as Grey's roar echoed into the air. Whatever his motives were, if he killed a Houndour that quickly, he would be a good ally. Akeer waited for his return, her claws clamped onto the cliff edge and wings at her sides. It was a thrill up be up so high - there were elevated perches and inner 'mountains' in her underworld, but with the bright light and winds filled with a mixture of senses, this beat the caves any day.

ooc: Yes I guess I did..^^; I think I wasdoing it jokingly though. I say a lot of things are evil. xD And since I never brought it up again..oh well. Thanks for reminding me though!
ic: Sukun saw Grey flip off the cave from his spot. Curious, he walked over and stood next to Akeer. He watched the large gray aerodactyl kill the houndour. ~Odd,~ he thought. He wondered if Grey had been trying to help the flock. He wasn't sure what to think. It was prey..was he claiming the flock as his own prey then?
