Ace in the Valley

ace scampered about in the tall grasses. He searched for the berries tha he loved to munch on so much...

A young tropius grazed on the grass nearby. She noticed the naetoru. He looked new to the area, but that was only because she hadn't seen him before. She was quite young, just a calf really. " Hi! Are you new here?"

[Little John]

"Sorta," Ace said just noticing the Tropius "I came here last month. Do you know where any berries are growing around here?"

[wynnyelle]

" Hmmm, there's some around here, but just watch out, there's the pack in the valley too, they're dangerous," said the young tropius. " I'm Lala, who're you?"

[Little John]

"I'm Ace, what did you mean by pack?" Ace questioned. this tropius had piked his intrest.

Ooc:do you just randomly make up characters in each post cuz its confusing without character profiles.

ooc: I do, I never had character profiles before in the RPGs I was in. My job as owner is to keep everyone's threads nice and busy so they have something to do, I will probably be taking on a LOT of characters. However, if most ppl want it I could post my characters' profiles on Character Submissions.

ic: Lala's face took on the look of worry. " The killers...the ones who killed my father...the Herdfather."

ooc:that is good, it was just a little confusing

Bic:a shudder fell over ace. "What kind of pokemon are they?"

"They all look different, but they have the faces of killers," said Lala. " Some are the colour of fire, others look dark like night. One of them is purple."

[Little John]

"Whoa," Ace muddered to himself. Maybe an arbok and some fire and dark pokemon. Or for the purple it could be a nidoking.

[wynnyelle]

" Some in my herd want revenge, but...I just don't want the pack to take anyone else," said Lala. She shook her head, trying to dispell the dark mood that had come over her. She hated being sombre. " Want to come meet my herd?"

[Little John]

"I guess I could go. Not like I have anything else to do," he said as he followed the tropius.

[wynnyelle]

" You mean you're bored?" said Lala as she trotted on a little ahead of him. What was there to be bored about on such a nice spring day?

[Little John]

"well it hasn't been as exciting as living in a world when you have to constantly avoid being captured." he quickly sped up a little to catch up.

[wynnyelle]

"Captured? By what?" said Lala. The tropius herd was right there in the near distance, browsing on some berries that hung from tree branches. " Mom! Auntie Sarrala!" she called to the two nearest ones. " I'm back!"

[Little John]

"Oh well you know, trainers," he said. He quickly ran up to the tree and used his vines to get some berries.

[wynnyelle]

" No," said Lala, shaking her head. " I don't know trainers. What do they train you to do?" Well now she sure felt stupid. Then again, she was only a kid and didn't know much yet.

" Where have you been dear?" said Lala's mother, bending down her long neck to nuzzle her little daughter.

" Practicing flying," said Lala. She was still a little too young to fly, but was starting to get towards where she would learn soon. " And I met...him." She looked at Ace.

" Hello," said Lala's mother. " I'm Nakeela. Who're you?" He looked harmless, she thought.

[Little John]

"oh well trainers are humans that train you to fight other pokemon." Then he turned to nakeela. "My name is Ace and I come from Sinnoh."

[wynnyelle]

" Really," said Nakeela. She and the other tropius exchanged glances and then she looked back at him. " Hi Ace. That must be pretty far from here...I've never heard of Sinnoh. You're welcome to stay here but beware the pack."

[Little John]

"Right, Lala warned me about them. i guess i will stay around for a while."

[wynnyelle]

" So, Lala's got a new boyfriend," said another young tropius, but this one looked maybe a year or just six months older. She gave Lala a teasing grin.

" I just met him! He's not my boyfriend," said Lala. " He's just a friend."

[Little John]

Ace only gave them a little look then shook his head. Idiots didn't get to him. "are there any humans here?" he asked Nakeela.

[wynnyelle]

" No, I....I'm afraid I'm not sure what kind of pokemon that is, though," said Nakeela. " Is it a dangerous kind?"

[fya]

"Oh? You know of humans?" The voice came from an ivysaur. He was a bit larger than average and had pink spots instead of the usual darker green. "They aren't around here. But them humans...they a nasty race. Killed my family years ago..." He sighed and looked away. It had been a long few years that he had finally escaped the human areas. This place was totally deserted by them.

"And," he added, "by the way, I'm Crest. Named by the humans and my human owned parents. Pleasure."

[wynnyelle]

" I'm Lala," said the little tropius calf. " Hi Crest."

" Hello, Crest, I'm Nakeela," said the older female tropius. " Well, there are no humans here but there is danger. The pack comes around and often tries to hunt us."

[fya]

Crest nodded. "Hello to you all. I've been here a few months now, though I tend to keep to the sides." He'd never been too socialable, but he did like having other Pokemon around in case he needed to speak up.

[wynnyelle]

" You're welcome here," said Nakeela. " We all have to band together to keep the pack from hurting us again. I fear they may come around soon again."

[Little John]

"I'm Ace," he said. He watched the Ivysaur walk towards him. He was considerably bigger, Ace thought.

[fya]

"Hello Ace," said Crest with a smile. "So you have human experiance?" He nodded to Nakeela. "Thanks, I'll stick with ya."

[wynnyelle]

" Yea!" said Lala, dancing round and flapping her little frond-like wings. " A new herd person!"

[Little John]

Ace smiled at the tall grass pokemon. "yes I was considered the best pokemon at dodging pokeballs in Sinnoh."
