Pax swallowed the tears away, opening his eyes again. He stared in front of him, trying to ignore the now somewhat calmed pain in his legs. "No I... I'm fine. How are you, Ace?" he asked, concerned as to what happened to him and the herd. "Is Lala all right? What has become of the herd?"

"That's awful.." Pax blinked, wishing for the herd to be prosperous and thrive, without them. "I.. guess we'll have to wander around and look for somewhere else to stay for protection from predators," he lifted his head arduously, and tried to use his legs, but for now they were still stiff and winded. "Oof. Which way should we head, then, Ace?"

The Ponyta tried to surpress his sadness, and cautiously stood up. His legs quivered, but after some trial and error he grunted down the stiffness and stood tall. ... I've never lead before... He looked north, south, east, and west. I don't know either. I guess a random pick will have to do. Pax lifted his ears, listening, and sniffed the wind. He decided to head downwind, where less predators would be. He turned left. "... this way." he muttered, and began walking.
(want to go to another area or stay in the valley?)
