A beautiful day

" I'm an ootachi, otherwise known as a furret," said Ralla. They were eevees, eevees were common and she knew how to recognise one easily.

[Thomas]

Speedy awoke early for him, he too was excited. He could hear the other pokemon talking and this made him excited.
"They chose to stay afterall."
Speedy examined the grass around him before walking down to the water to partake in some swimming. He rounded the pool several times before slowly coming to a stop and looking to Ralla.
"You going to get in or am I alone in this beautifully cool water?"

" Well if you put it that way, how can I resist?" Ralla was not usually one for swimming but it was a warm day and Speedy was just too charming. She slid into the water.

[Thomas]

Speedy swam under the water and did several flips and spirals all through the water, maybe trying to impress Ralla, or maybe just having fun. After several seconds of this he came up and splashed a bit of the water on Ralla.
"Have you ever gone swimming before? Or is this your first time?"

" I've swum before but never just for the hell of it," said Ralla. She was nowhere near as good a swimmer as Speedy, but she'd known that from the start.

[Thomas]

Speedy paused to scan the water for any future meals but at the moment, all he saw were a few Shellders further down and what appeared to be a poliwag. He turned back the Furret who was slowly getting further and further into the water.
"Just dive head first in. It's funner that way."

[wynnyelle]

" I like to acclimate myself slowly." Ralla felt the cool water seeping into her fur almost immediately. She began to paddle gracefully out towards Speedy, hoping nothing vicious got them from deeper in the water.

[Thomas]

Speedy was sure the water was safe, after all, he had been swimming this pool for several weeks now. If there had been something predatory in here it would have eaten him by now. Right?
"Oh and no need to fear these waters.. These things are for as much as I know, some of the safest waters in the land. I have been all up and down these rivers rather by misfortune, but I have seen all the rivers and nothing more then the minor Carvanhha or in RARE occasions, Tentacruels and even a delicious Barboach or Whiscash or two.. These waters are too shallow even at the deepest parts to support anything too large."

"Carvanhas never hunt alone," said Ralla. Still, she trusted him to know more about these waters than she did.

[Thomas]

"That would seem right but I've yet to encounter a large school of Carvanhas.. Like I said before, most i've seen was two together.."
Speedy quietly waited for her to get herself fully aquainted to the water before trying to pull her further. He had intended to show this to her earlier but he wanted to make sure she'd be able to swim in the waters.
"Can you hold your breath for longer then oh say 10 seconds?"

[wynnyelle]

" Ten seconds? That's nothing," said Ralla. " Of course I can."

[Thomas]

"Good.. Because I got this secret place that I found a week or two ago that I've been working vigorously to fully open. It was accesible but really tight, so i've been using Sonic Booms to make the opening a bit larger."
He paused to examine the area once before looking back at Ralla.
"You ready or you need more time?"

[wynnyelle]

" I'm ready...I'd like to see this place...where is it?" Ralla hoped she wouldn't have to hold her breath for TOO long, she wasn't a water pokemon after all.

[Thomas]

"It's not far. I use it to keep myself safe if predators enter the area. Just follow me closely and we'll be there in seconds."
Speedy took a breath and dove under the water and began swimming slowly towards the base of the waterfall. Even from semi close range it just looked like a bunch a rocks because of the constant water dropping into the area, hiding it from plain sight.

Ralla took as big a breath as she could and dived under after Speedy. She hoped she didn't have to swim that far...

Kiko walked along the shore of the river at the top of the waterfall. He had his eyes closed and he was humming a merry tune. This place seemed perfect for him! There was plenty of Magikarp to feed off of at the bottom of the waterfall and the place was beutiful. There was one flw tough, there didn't seem to be alot of other pokemon. And he couldn't live without a social life! there would be no life without a social life. He stopped, looking over the top of the waterfall. He sighed, leaning over a bit more to get a closer look. Two submerged figures caught his eye. they definetly were not Magikarp. He smiled in delight, maybe they would be his friends! he hadn't none int he region yet. wihtout hesitation he jumped from the top of the waterfall, landing in the pool with ease. he scurried through the water, following the two toards the bottom of the waterfall, now what were they doing going down there? He floate din mid-water watching the two. He was clearly visible, he didn't care if they saw him. He was going to say hi as soon as they surfaced.

After several seconds of swimming, no more then 5, he reached what appeared to be a hole about the size of a trashcan lid in the rocky base. He pushed through it easily, and figured the furret would be able to do the same just as easily, since she was after all skinnier them he was. He swam up quickly and within 10 seconds, was surfaced in what appeared to be a secret cavern, only accessible the way they had come. Speedy jumped up onto the rocky base of the room and waited for Ralla to enter.
"Such a nice, quiet, safe place.."

He watched them disappear between two rocks. He propelled himself forward easily and glance dintot he small opening. He ws small, and could also easily fit through. He surfaced quietly and peered at the Furret and Bluizel. He ahd a large, friendly smile on his face, "Hello!" he cried, kicking himself to the side of the small cavern. He glanced around and hopped up onto the shore. "Neat place!" he commented. He really had no concept of manners. following them in 'intruding' didn't seem rude to him, it seemed like another oppurtunity to make friends. As usual, the questions began to spit out, he was a very curious little fellow, "I'm Kiko, who are you?" he asked glancing form the Furret to the Bluizel.

[Thomas]

"Well that was strange.. Didn't expect another pokemon to follow us in. Guess I should be more watchful next time. Well hello Kiko, I'm Speedy and this lovely lady is Ralla. What brings you all the way down here?"
Speedy looked at the water as if to expect any other pokemon to come in but nothing came.

((got to go for like an hour or less... Eat/Shower.. Be back in a bit! ))

Ralla swam through the opening as well, where she encountered the totodile. But she was more intent on getting to fresh air than dealing with any more newcomers so she surfaced into the cavern first. It was cooler in here than it had been outside. Ralla shivered. " Um," she said to the totodile, " hello." She looked at Speedy. " Seems at least one other person knows where this place is, huh."

If a Totodile could blush, Kiko would have. He glanced at the two pokemon, molding the name with the apperance and sewing it to his mind. He would take scent too, but they were all wet and the scent was deceiving and muffled. "Well," he said turning to the Bluizel, "I jsut saw you gusy and decided to follow. I was hopiinng to meet some friendly pokemon willing to be my friends, I am new around here," he said, his voice trailing off. he glanced at the soaked furret. I had never seen a furret siwm before, "I didn't know your kind liked the water, or could even swim," he commented, shruging his shoulder. "I guess all pokemon can siwm some just dont like it," he sighed, letting his thoughts become words. He had a bad habit of doing that. "So, do you guys live arond here?" he asked, taking a seat on the cavern floor. With a claw the traced through the dirt making random paterns.

" I don't mind it too much, although I'm not one who generally swims." Ralla pulled herself up onto the stone of the cavern and looked down at herself. She looked all skinny and bony because her fur was all wet. Embarrassed, she shook herself off. This cave was handy to know about, but it wasn't a place she'd go to very often.

[Thomas]

Speedy was rather sad once he realized how uncormfortable Ralla seemed to be.
"I'm sorry Ralla.. You didn't have to come.. I was just thinking I'd show you this place incase you ever needed to be alone or escape a predator.."
Speedy turned to the Totodile with a smile.
"Friends? There's plenty of us here for that.. You got us two here and they are two eevees outside. Very nice young duo they are.. As for living around here, I've been living here for around a month and a half or a little less.. Where did you come from?"

[wynnyelle]

" Oh, thanks, I'm fine, just wet," said Ralla. " It's always good to know about a place like this in case I ever get a ground or fire type on my tail."

[Thomas]

I usually just use it to get away from out there sometimes.. When I want to be alone to think or just relax. I am a hundred percent sure that being in here is safe. Though I've yet to actually go all the way back into this little cavern.. I don't think it's very deep but I wonder what may lie back there?"
Speedy glanced towards the darker part of the cave that seemed to just be a dark wall.. He had never gone too far in this cave for fear of what may lurk all the way back in it. Maybe an Aggron or a Kabutops...Or even something more powerful.

" Well, only one way to find out." Ralla gave herself a last shake and headed after him. Perhaps they had stumbled on a great amount of prey or something? She let her eyes adjust further to the very dark conditions.

[Thomas]

"You're certainly a brave Furret aren't you?"
Speedy smiled and kept walking, not sure if the Totodile would follow or not. As they crept further into the cavern tracks became visible, well more like really old tracks that had been walked over many times. There was either lots of pokemon back here or there was one who walked around a lot. Several yards in front Speedy saw something. What appeared to be the outline of a tiny ish pokemon. The problem was poor lighting was effecting his sight and he really didn't trust it anymore. He paused to try and think up what they should do. With no light source they could walk into a trap.

" Well, the two of us ought to be enough of a match against -most- things we could find in there, and if we find something too dangerous, well, that's when I make for the water again. And exploring these caves was your idea, brave Speedy." Ralla smirked.
