A beautiful day

" I'd be careful swimming out too deeply into those waters," said Ralla as she ate a little deeper into the remoraid. She had eaten most of it, but would pick it clean. She had gone hungry too many times in her life to leave a single scrap of meat on prey if she could help it.

[Thomas]

Speedy watched on as the two Eevees played happily in the water. His thoughts drifted then came back as he refocused on Ralla.
"I am sorry about your family.. That is awful. Perhaps my family turned out badly as well and I was lucky enough to not have to witness it.. I've been out here for a few months now. But I honestly like it here.. Though it can be a bit lonely it's very cozy.. I have all the fish I could want, a constant water source in the waterfall, a rock to sun myself, plenty of woods around here to get berries if I should so choose.. Perfect for me.."
Though he seemed happy, these words came out empty, hollow. As if he meant them but in some way that he was unaware of, didn't mean them.

[Thomas]

"She is right.. The further you go in and the deeper you go the larger the creatures become. I've encountered a Carvanha or two when I first got here. Nasty little guys.. I think I cleaned them out but you can never be too sure."

[wynnyelle]

" Well I guess that puts us in a similar situation," said Ralla. She was almost done with the fish, picking the last bits of meat from towards the tail. Those two eevees sure looked tasty, but they had come here on friendly terms and Ralla was no longer hungry, so she wouldn't prey on them.

[Thomas]

"I guess it was fate that brought us together? Hope the Remoraid was good.. You still have some of the Igglybuff left if you want it.."
Speedy had nearly finished his half of the Igglybuff, he was pretty full so he turned towards the eevees and slid it in their direction.
"If you both get hungry, you may have the rest of my piece.."

[wynnyelle]

" I'm quite full," said Ralla, " thank you so much. As for the igglybuff I'll take just one bite, just so I know what it tastes like. Then I guess the eevees can have the rest."

She went over to the carcass and nipped off a piece. It was good, tender and juicy.

[Thomas]

"Good right? You seemed to have found a very delicious one.. I must say, this may be the best I've eaten in one day. Thank you for eating with me and keeping me company. You're welcome around here whenever! It'd be my delight to have your company around more often."
Speedy smiled cautiously and then turned to face the sky.
"Beautiful day eh?"

ooc: Alright I REALLY need to get going.. 12:30 am and school tomorrow. hehe. thank you so much for rp'ing with me and goodnight and sweet dreams. I'll be back tomorrow.

Kiki splashed Hazel one last time, before turning and walking up the slope. Hazel bounced after, refreshed by the swim. Kiki curled up on the edge of Buizel's rock, careful only to take up a little of the space on the warm rock. Hazel walked over to the other, bigger pokemon who seemed to be offering some food. "Uh, excuse me, but do you have any food to spare?" She asked, not too sure whether she could take the meat.

[wynnyelle]

Ralla pushed the skin and bones that remained of her remoraid over towards Hazel. " Not much left, but I guess it's something. Here you go..."

She smiled a little bit at Buizel. " Oh...it was no problem really..." Maybe someday she'd admit to him that she had originally been planning on trying to eat him.

[Thomas]

Buizel sat happily searching the clouds that roamed over head. In his free time he usually would resort to this to keep himself occupied, and being alone, he had a lot of free time. His eyes dropped back down to the Furret as he examined her carefully.
"You live anywhere near here or just traveling through?"

[wynnyelle]

" I have no real home," said Ralla. " I'm a drifter, I guess you could say. Haven't been away from my family long enough to settle down I guess. I'm not even a year old."

[Thomas]

"You're less then a year old? Wow.. Same here.. I'm around 7 or 8 months old.. You kinda lose track when everyday is relatively the same."
Buizel eyed the surrounding area, surprised to find it so quiet..

[wynnyelle]

" I'm getting on towards a year though," said Ralla. What was most frustrating to her was the fact that she knew she was going to come into season soon. As soon as summer hit, most likely.

[Thomas]

"Maybe if we're still friends then I'll be able to wish you a happy birthday!"
Buizel was very happy to have a friend and really didn't want to lose her so he wanted to keep her around as long as possible, no matter how much talking needed to be done.

[wynnyelle]

" You're planning on no longer being friends at some point, eh?" Ralla should've known it was too good to be true. Friends were never forever.

[Thomas]

"What? No I did not mean it that way.. I just meant things happen and even the best friends can be seperated.. Plus I have no clue as to your intentions.. You say you're a drifter.. Thus meaning you don't stay in one place for too long.So then the question becomes how long will it be until you leave me?"
Buizel had learned to look for any reason to push others away, it was a way of saving himself the hurt you gain from losing a close friend or loved one.

[wynnyelle]

" I won't leave you any time soon," said Ralla. She hadn't realised that he didn't want her to leave either. " And..I'm a drifter right now, but in the future, I'd like that to change."

[Thomas]

((Figures I go to post this to keep it alive and you reply right when I do so.. Lmao.. ))

Buizel looked on hesitantly at the Furret. He wasn't sure what to make of her. He had never really seen a Furret, only heard stories. Though they were considered nice, they were also ferocious hunters and Speedy wondered what may have brought her to staring at him. Perhaps she liked him? Though that was highly unlikely.. Interspecies relationships didn't usually work out well.. So why was she staring so intently at him?

[Thomas]

"You'd like to change your drifting ways? Where would you imagine staying? I mean obviously somewhere to your liking. I hope to find somewhere to settle down at one day as well.. This place seems to be fine, but awfully lonely."
Buizels eyes drifted towards the crystal clear waters which now began to ripple as a slight breeze blew through.

[wynnyelle]

"It doesn't seem lonely to me." Ralla glanced at the two eevees still in their company. " It appears like pokemon are crawling out of the wood just to spend time with us. Quite pleasant actually." Unless it was all some sort of sadistic joke. Ralla wouldn't be surprised.

[Thomas]

"Yeah it appears to have grown popular.. To be honest with you, aside from the Remoraid, Shellder, Clamperl, and occasional Poliwag, it's been pretty empty here.. You and these Eevees are the first I've seen around here.. Must be my lucky week."
Buizel seemed happy that she didn't think it was lonely at least. Maybe he could find a way to get her to stay..

[wynnyelle]

" Well it means there might not be that many invaders if we choose to live here," said Ralla. " Just you, me, and maybe the eevees."

[Thomas]

"Me and you? So you're thinking of staying then? wow yeah! That would be amazing. Us and the Eevees and maybe more guests down the line. Who knows."
Speedy was really happy, she honestly seemed like she wanted to stay and this gave him hope.. Hope that maybe he wasn't so alone after all.

[Thomas]

Buizel turned his gaze back towards the water where he began to day dream of a fairly populated area of about nine or ten other pokemon, close friends of his. Buizel seemed eager at this thought then snapped back to reality and returned to his discussion with Ralla

ic: "Yes, I guess I am planning on staying," said Ralla. " Let's go seek out a place to live right around here."

[Ziskara]

Hazel took the offered bones and took them away. There was still a few flecks of meat here and there. She curled up next to her sister and fell asleep, chewing a bone.

Next day Ralla was up early. She had enthusiasm today, more than was usual for her. She had friends and a new home to look forward to, after all.

[Ziskara]

Hazel rolled over and stretched, accidentally knocking into her sister. Kiki grumbled sleepily, rising to her feet. Hazel trotted down to the water, and drank deeply, also splashing her face. Kiki followed and imitated her sister, repeating the actions. Hazel walked up to the Furret, and asked "So, you been here long? As you know, I only got here yesterday, And, well, My sister and I were wondering if we could stay on here for a bit? It wouldn't be permanent, definintly no. When we come of age we'll travel to the Elemental stone caverns, To find the stone that is right for us. But until then we'll need somewhere to stay, and this place seems about the best we've found so far... Is that okay with you?"

[wynnyelle]

Ralla looked down at both of them. If they were looking for a mother figure, she sure wouldn't be providing that. " I haven't been here long, no, I wandered in here shortly before you did. You're welcome to stay as long as you can hunt for yourselves. I plan on staying and have no problem with you two staying as well." She sat up and started grooming her paw.

[Ziskara]

Hazel flicked her tail, watching the leaves shuffle then replied; "We can take care of ourselves, that's fine. I was just wondering if you'd been around here long... whatever." She walked off, but Kiki remained. She stared up at the Furret with bright, curious eyes. "What kind of pokémon are you?" She asked, still learning many of the types.
