Charna slowly crept back, her lamb clutched in her protective arms. She was afraid to leave, and afraid to stay. Afraid of everything. More afraid than she had been back in her prison caves in Hallowmoor. Back there, at least she and her lambs had been protected from danger outside of the abuse by their own. "I'm guessing the coast is clear?"

Storm noded and moonshadow walker up to charna and Inyena. "Is your young one ok?" moonshadow asked, looking at the scared little ball of fluff.

Inyena sobbed softly into her mother. "Momma, momma...." she cryed over and over.
Moonshadow looked sadly at charna, "What "scary" things do you mean? and I was wondering if I could acompany you and storm."

"Scary meaning attacked a good few times," said Charna, "by predators. It's okay Inyena," she bleated softly, stroking Inyena's back and head with her flipper. "It's okay." She could feel her little lamb trembling.

Inyena tryed to stop crying but it made her tremble more and she continued to sobb.
Moonshadow settled near the mother and daughter. "I will stay and portect you.
Moondancer steped out of the bushes and confrunted the group.

Charna gently laid her lamb down on the soft moss. "I'm worried about her," she said to whoever was nearby. "She isn't talking and she's just--she's had such a rough time."

Moonshadow nodded and saw her friend, moondancer. She ran to her and nuzzled her. "I will come in a day or two. ok..." she whispered and moondancer dashed away.

Charna, sitting beside her lamb, drew her knees up towards her stomach and hugged them with her flippers. "Hi," she said to Moonshadow, for lack of anyone else around that she could talk to.

Inyena woke to the sound of her mother's crying. She stood and tottled over to her mommy. "Shhhh, moma, Shhhhhh." she whispered, nuzzling her mom.
