"I have you now!" yelled Veneno, shaking off the aftershock from the spark. He had to deal with escaping prisoners in the Horde for several years. Catching a newborn lamb wasn't much of a challenge. He glided toward her and gently bit her loose skin meant for carrying, allowing him to fly back to Charna, "Caught the little runt."

Inyena bleeted wildly terifyed and struggled, trying to break free.

Veneno held the terrified lamb with ease. "Hold still!" he yelled.

She payed no heed to his words and kept struggling.

Charna took her lamb from Veneno. She hugged Inyena close to herself. "What did I say about running off? You don't do it! It's dangerous." She was beginning to cry now. All her efforts at keeping Inyena safe only seemed to backfire.

"Don't you ever do that again," scolded Veneno, "You could be killed out there!"

"What were you doing letting loose with an attack so close to her?" said Charna, looking at Veneno in shock. "You could've killed her!"

"I knew what I was doing, Charna," replied Veneno, "I was merely trying to stop her. I knew where that attack was going."

"She could've run straight into it," said Charna, whose motherly instinct-fortified defense was up. And it went up quite easily, set off by any form of violence anywhere near her baby. For the first time in her life, she was allowed to fully defend her child, and she would do so ruthlessly.

She sheltered in her mothers arms, bleetiing and hiding her face.

"I knew what I was doing," argued Veneno, "Besides, you have your daughter back, don't you?"

"Yes," said Charna. "Thank you for helping. Next time though don't attack so close to her. It's just too risky."

"I'm an expert at aiming my attacks," replied Veneno, "I can aim perfectly, let alone miss."

Charna decided not to tell him that what he had just said did not make any sense. ''You can always miss. There's always that chance.''

"I meant to miss with that attack. You think I wanted to kill Inyena?" replied Veneno.

"Of COURSE you meant to miss," said Charna. "That's not what I meant. Sometimes attacks don't always go where we plan them to." She was an electric pokemon, and her element was an especially volatile and unpredictable one. No matter how she practiced her skills, her bolts would always carry a measure of randomness.

"I'm a flying type. I have very good aiming," said Veneno.

"Look, I don't want to turn this into an argument. Especially not around my daughter...so just promise you'll be more careful for now. There are better ways to stop a lamb from running than using an attack in front of them." charna finally put her lamb down to let her suckle.

"Well, had I used confuse ray, there was a slight possibility of her becoming suicidal. I've seen it happen, said Veneno.

Charna looked at him. "That's why you'll never use confuse ray in front of my daughter, correct?"

"I would never do such a thing to an innocent child!" screamed Veneno.

Charna sighed. "Please. Veneno. I said I don't want to argue over this especially in front of my daughter. I believe you would never harm her intentionally. That was never the issue."

Veneno sighed, "You're right. We shouldn't scare Inyena like that. But why would she run like that?"

A cough came from behind the bickering pokemon. A beat up leafeon walked up slowly. "P-please..." she stammered, falling to the ground. "Are they gone?" she asked weakly, looking around. Her ears quivered as she listened for any sign of the ones chasing her.

"Are you one of the prisoners we rescued?" asked Veneno as he turned to the leafeon.

The leafeon shook her head slowly. "N-no..." she managed. She finally relaxed a little, her chasers no where in hearing range. "I-I'm sorry...had to...get...away..." she finished before closing her eyes to get some rest. She was still awake, barely, in case there where more questions.

Without opening her eyes, the leafeon answered, "Father."

Veneno could see the leafeon was in distress. He lifted her onto his back, "They seem to be gone now, would you like me to fly you home?"

The leafeon's eyes widened as she struggled against the flying-type. "No! Don't take me back there!" she exclaimed, pure fear being her energy. She jumped off and landed awkwardly on her foot and fell back to the ground.
