Poof sensed his moms distrace and tryed to help her, but started playing again "arf" he sqeaked and a little flame came out

Duran came into the den to finally rest and spend some time with his own puppies. Hearing his mate's voice, he gathered that she could use some help with them. "Sure...what do you need me to do?" He looked down at Caspian and Ember in a tangle. "They look like they're playing."

Caspian was feeling tired, actually. "Okay mumma." He yawned and lay down to sleep, only waking up much later when he heard the sounds of approach outside the den.
Duran came in dragging a kill--a raticate--to the den. He was large for a poochyena, due to having an arcanine father. He finally finished dragging the kill in, and spoke to his mate, "I'm home. I brought us something to eat."

Poof fell asleep fast and was sleeping upside down blowing out smoke everytime he exhaled

Duran went into the den to lay down and rest. "I'm glad you like it, Moon. Eat all you wish." He nuzzled his pups and lay down.

Moon ate half the carcass and layed down next to her mate. She began to groom him lovingly. "Thanks for the meal, sweetheart."

Duran lay his head down just beside hers and slept as well.
Caspian woke his parents up. He gave a noise that sounded like a cross between a yip and a bark.

Caspian woke poof up and poof fliped over and yawned. "arf" and waged his tails and tackled Caspian trying to play "arf"

Caspian whined, "Wanna UP!" Sleeping was boring. He was up and ready to go! He saw his siblings waking up too, though, so his problems were over. He tried tackling Ember, but Poof got him first. He ended up lying under Poof. He wagged his tail and turned his head around trying to play-bite Poof.

Now Caspian had two puppies on top of him. "I getting smooshy!" He wriggled, trying to get out from under them.

Poof sqeased out of the pile then tackled ember off caspain " get sqooshy and we doon't want a smoooshed bruder" Poof tryed to say, it was a mouth full for him

Caspian wriggled out with Ash's help. He then turned around and looked at the puppy pile. He piled himself right on top. "Now I'm onna top!"

Poof was about to jump back in the pile when *growl* came from his stomach so he turned to his parents "me hungwy"

Caspian nuzzled up against his mother's belly and began to suckle hungrily. All that playing had given him an appetite.
