Rappella got sprayed in the face with drool. She gave her head and body a shake and did a huge raspberry at Volt, showering him with all the slobber she could produce.
"Please...stop...can you stop now, please?" said Luzia.
Rappella didn't seem to hear her and went right on spraying.

Sombra hung his head and sighed.

Rappella finally felt her lungs get tired from all that blowing, also her mouth felt a little dried out of spit. She gave up on spitting on him and then made a clumsy tackle towards him trying to pin him down. "Bad Volt! BAD!"

Volt nipped Rappella on the nose in retaliation.

ooc: Let's not auto, shall we?
ic: Rappella yipped loudly at Volt's nip, then she tried to tackle him again. Anything to beat him down and show him who was boss!
Luzia sat on the side, realising that it was now in their paws whether and when they stopped the fighting. Maybe this was something they needed, maybe the kits had to be left to settle their own fights and establish the pecking order.

OOC: I wasn't autoing. By, "Volt nipped Rappella on the nose in retaliation," I was just explaining where he was aiming.
Volt was hit by tackle and fell. He began to cry hysterically.

ooc: If you attack {however small the attack} and the attack finds its mark without giving me a chance to dodge, then that's autoing. mind you, I don't want to make an issue out of it since I probably wouldn't have had her dodge anyway and it's a little nothing attack. Just pointing this out for the future.
ic: "Rapella, please, stop," whimpered Luzia as Rappella climbed up onto Volt in her clumsy but determined efforts to pin him down. She lacked the weight to really do so, but she didn't know that.
"BAD Volt," said Rappella.
"Rappella, please stop it," said Luzia.
"No," said Rappella. ""Volt bein' BAD."

"Rappella big mean!" cried Volt.
Sombra walked over to Volt and began to run his paw over him, "Don't cry, son."

"Volt BAD," said Rappella, walking over to her dad. "Bited me."
"volt, sweety, i'm so sorry this happened," said Luzia, on the brink of tears herself. She nuzzled Volt and licked him.
Rappella couldn't believe this. They were coddling HIM and meanwhile he had started all the trouble. She glared at Volt. "Volt BAD, Volt stupid!"

"Still your tongue," scolded Sombra, "You'll get no comfort from me if you continue to bark insults to your brother."
Volt felt at ease by his mother's side and lofted to sleep.

Rappella looked incredulously at her father. Her face twisted into one of unbelief and anguish. "BAD Daddy, BAD Daddy." She turned her back on him and sat facing away from him, pouting.

Rappella threw herself down on the floor crying. "No! No! BAD daddy!"
Luzia sighed, looking at Sombra sadly, "I'm so sorry she's being like this...Rappella, please stop...please."
Rappella didn't even seem to hear.

Sombra kicked Rappella on her head lightly enough so she wouldn't be hurt, but sternly enough to make it clear Sombra wasn't messing around. "Stop this nonsense!"
Flare pitied Rappella and ran over to Sombra, "No! Pwease don'd hurd widdle thithter!"

Rappella gave a loud yip and then lay still, breathing quickly as she caught her breath from all the exertion of throwing a major temper tantrum. She could tell her father wasn't going to budge.

The other Eevee pup, the one with the black markings had awoken long before the fighting started, but for once he wasn't hungry. When his brothers and sisters were play-fighting...they were trying to hurt each other, but it was play-fighting nonetheless, he sat on the sidelines and watched. He didn't want to get involved, seeing blood and spittle flying, he couldn't imagine how anyone could want that.
If the fight continued much longer, he might have done what he could to interrupt. He was resting as they fought, so he would've had more energy. But there was something else, as he rested, he watched...he watched every move, and, unconsciously, was thinking about what he would do. He was thinking of a plan...But the quarrel ended, and Aeroth let out a sigh of relief.
With that Aeroth moved forward, earlier he had tested his legs and felt confident enough to walk. The black-tipped Eevee deliberately moved between his siblings on his way to rub against his mother and father in turn, not without a smug little smirk on his face, before going past and sitting at the edge of the clearing.
He finally got his first look at the open sky between the leaves of the canopy so far above. It was a dark blue, almost black, but he couldn't tell the difference. The round disk in the sky was surrounded with millions of tiny fireflies, the stars. Moonlight filtered through the trees, shining on Aeroth and illuminating him in an eerie otherwordly glow. He didn't say anything, there was nothing to say. '.....Pretty'

Sombra was too occupied to notice Aeroth, "I'm sorry, Luzia, but she has to learn her lesson."
Flare saw Rappella to be upset and nuzzled her, "Don'd cwy, widdle thithter."
Aqua noticed Aeroth walk outside and followed. She sat next to him and smiled as he tail wagged.

Aeroth turned to his mother and nodded, he was too occupied in looking at the moon to really care about wandering, but at his mother's words, he had a stray thought to go outside, just to see why it was dangerous, but he shook it off. All things with time. He also didn't want to upset his parents.
As Aqua padded up to him Aeroth turned and licked her on the cheek, and then went to lick her ear, even though the bleeding had stopped a while ago. He had to reach higher because he was still smaller than his sister. He still didn't speak, he didn't want anything to disrupt the tranquility of the night. It was so soothing.

The peace of the night was broken as the pidgeot swooped back down for a meal. He caught both eevee in his talons.
Aqua let out an earsplitting shriek as the pidgeot took her and Aeroth away.
It was the same pidgeot from before. He had been spying, studying, observing, waiting for the right moment to strike again. That moment was now.

Rappella leaned over to Flare and licked his cheek. "Flare good," she said quietly, still with a limp, whimpery voice. "Flare good. Daddy bad."
Luzia sighed. "I just don't understand why she's acting this way..." She was worried. What had happened to make her turn into this evil kit?

Aeroth was too shocked to speak. One moment he was on the ground, the second he was gasping for breath and being whisked through the air faster than he could imagine. He wanted to view the sky, not be splattered accross it! He squirmed in every which way, wanting to get free of these talons, he didn't want to die! Then he looked down, and saw the ground so far below him and stopped. This creature would have to put them down...sometime....somewhere....right? Aeroth caught a glance at his sister then, and something awoke inside him. Somehow he knew they wouldn't both get out of this if they didn't do everything to get out. The small Eevee looked around, trying to think.
The wings came awefully close to the Pigeot's claws regularly. Aeroth's eyes fixed on that rythmic downward motion, and started squirming in time with the beat until...
Aeroth clamped his tiny baby teeth on the tip of the wing. He was teething, and even though they weren't the sharpest, they managed to draw blood. The upward pull of the wing was enough to extract himself from thoe deadly claws, but now he was stuck to the wing...not the safest place.

"GAH!" cried the pidgeot as Aeroth's teeth penetrated his wing. Not only the pain, but his damaged wing and feathers caused him to descend. Suddenly, he crashed into a tree.
Aqua screamed as she plummeted to what could very well be her demise.
Meanwhile, back at the home, Sombra rolled his eyes, "I don't know. I suppose some children are just-- Where're Aeroth and Aqua?"

Aeroth closed his eyes as the Pigeot descended at an alarming rate. Just before the bird crashed, Aeoth was flung off into space, his little legs grasping for air, grasping for anything to stop his descent. His little body crashed into a tree branch. He crumpled over, losing all his breath as his vision blurred. Miraculously he managed to stay awake long enough to grasp the branch with his forepaws which preventing him from slipping and falling to his imminent doom. Out of the corner of his eye he saw the form of his sister falling into darkness...darkness because his eyes weren't good at night vision. "Nooooooooooo!"
The distraction allowed his right paw to slip, and he focused on the tree branch and tried not to think of the predator that must be turning around by now. One paw after the other he Aeroth managed to slowly pull himself up to safety. The branch was wide, and he was at the tip. He looked around, for anything, for the bird, for his sister, for a way down...the wind gusted, making the branch shudder and move. The Eevee nearly lost his balance, but saved himself by hunkering his body close to the branch. As soon as the wind stopped he made a mad dash for the base, where the branch met the trunk, and stayed there, curling into a little ball and shivering from cold, from fear.

Flare and Volt had dashed out of the den. As they witnessed the pidgeot crash, Volt came to a halt.
Sombra was just outside the den, trying to understand all that had just occurred.
Flare continued onward.
Aqua continued to plummet, still screaming. Suddenly, her fall was broken. She was now laying on the now unconscious Flare.
The weight of his sister crashing on top of him was too much for his small frame to handle. His legs were likely broken.
