Elly nodded. "And if it ends up being a stampede, I know Protect."

[wynnyelle]

"You know all the moves, babe," said Inigo. "I plan on using my good ol' Body Slam. fighting moves are also real useful on'em."

He headed out to where the grass thinned a bit, and out there the herd of cattle pokemon grazed.

[kratos]

Elly crept up beside them. In a hushed tone, she said, "I don't know any fighting moves, but I can try to take one with Agility and Night Slash."

ooc: That makes me wonder something. Is there a limit on how many moves a pokemon can know? Numerically, of course. I know there are obvious limits like you can't a Pikachu with Frenzy Plant.

ooc: Not really a numerical limit, although they shouldn't be able to learn moves they can't know in the games.

ic: "Sounds like a respectable arsenal to me, baby." Inigo was looking at the herd, trying to pick out which one they'd kill. There were several calves, but they were all nearer the centre of the herd.

[kratos]

ooc: But hyrbids obviously can learn the combined possible movelists of their parents, right?

ic: Elly looked around, trying to find one. "Over there, honey," she said, reffering to a young Miltank that had wandered a bit too far.

[wynnyelle]

ooc: Technically, yes, but a limitation on signature moves. They shouldn't be able to learn everything both parents can do.

"You got a good eye. That one'll be perfect." Inigo licked his lips and began to slink low through the grass towards the heifer.

[kratos]

ooc: Good point.

Elly kept low approaching from the opposite side as Inigo. She had her claws ready to kill.

[wynnyelle]

Inigo was an experienced ambush killer. He sprang out at the calf and used a Body Slam on it to stun it. It was a cute lil thing...too bad he had to kill it. His hunger was more important than its cuteness. His and even moreso Elly's hunger.

[kratos]

The calf cried out for its mother as Inigo jumped on it. Elly jumped herself and cut the calf's throat with her Night Slash.

[wynnyelle]

As the rest of the herd took off and left the area of the predators, the calf quickly died. Inigo looked at the kill, then at Elly. "Good shot! That was some awesome slayin' there!"

[kratos]

Elly blushed. "Thanks," she said, "but I couldn't have done it if you hadn't slowed her down first."

[wynnyelle]

"That's why we make a killer team, babe," said Inigo. He then took no time to start ripping into the carcass. There was more than enough meat on this for them for both today and tomorrow!

[kratos]

Elly began ripping into the carcass with her large claws, shoving the meat in her mouth as fast as she ripped it off. There'd be enough to last them a couple of days.

ooc: Can we try to get a couple weeks skip in the script? I want Elly to find out she's pregnant.

[wynnyelle]

ooc: Sure.

ic: Inigo finished up eating, let out a big belch and laughed. "Wow, that was a good one there."

[kratos]

Elly finished, too. "Yes. Quite satisfying."

A few weeks passed and Elly's love for Inigo only grew stronger. Little did she know, that wasn't the only thing growing in her. She could notice she was getting tired very easily, wondering what was wrong. "Inigo," she said one day. "Does anything look different about me?"

[wynnyelle]

"You look a lot better than when we first met," said Inigo. "You look healthier..you've put on some weight...rawwwr. I love a girl with meat on her bones. Why...is there anything you feel different with regards to?"

[kratos]

Elly nodded. "I've been getting so tired lately. I think I might....be pregnant,"

[wynnyelle]

Inigo felt warm chills. "Awww...baby! You serious? I mean...after our great day and night of fun I wouldn't be surprised, but...just, wow. That's awesome." He hugged her and licked her cheek.

[kratos]

Elly smiled, but looked down. "I'm kind of scared," she said. "What if they aren't healthy? What if they don't all live? What if I don't live?"

[wynnyelle]

"Babe..first thing you gotta do is calm down," said Inigo. "Stressing's not good fer the kiddies OR you. Second...er, I think most pregnancies go without a hitch. Don't quote me there, but usually, healthy babies are born."

[kratos]

"You're right," Elly said, nuzzling him. "I can't freak out. It might harm our children."

[wynnyelle]

ooc: ooh a neurotic mother...plotness! ^_^

ic: "Right," said Inigo. "We'll just take it one day at a time, then when the day the little ones come'll probably be the best day we ever knew. Everything's gonna be fine. First thing, though, our days of living out here in the open and sleeping wherever are over. Those kits're gonna need a proper den."

[kratos]

ooc: Huh? What does that mean? Did I just set up a plot without knowing it?

Elly nodded. "I am rather excited to see them when they come."

[wynnyelle]

ooc: LOL no, it just means there's plot potential there. Any kind of angst brings on plot, basically.

ic: "Yeah, I mean, we dun even know what species they'll turn out to be," said Inigo. "I'm furret--mostly--and you're a hybrid, they could be sentrets, absols OR eevees. Or even a combo of all three!"

[kratos]

"Yeah!" Elly said, excitedly. "Sorry that I'm going to be such a burden until then. I'll be getting tired much quicker until eventually, I won't be able to hunt."

[wynnyelle]

"That's why I'm here, beautiful," said Inigo. "i'm gonna be providing and protecting you all the way. Till the end of yer life, actually. Devotion is my middle name."

[kratos]

"Then what's your last name?" Elly asked with a giggle.

[wynnyelle]

Inigo winked. "Sex-er-iffic. Inigo Devotion Sex-er-iffic."

[kratos]

"I have to agree," she said, blushing. "You're so strong, yet gentle. You made me feel all tingly that night."

[wynnyelle]

"Awww, honey, you made me feel more than just a lil tingly," said Inigo. "You were honestly amazing. Then again, yer amazing every day in every way."
