Moonseed returned to Berry Hollow to find signs that another pack had passed through here. The large green bipedal reptile gave a hiss and a swish of her frondlike tail. " Intruders...they will pay."

Moonseed and the others stalked after the signs of the intruders. Dung and other territorial marks had been left right in the center of the hollow. Yes, oh yes, they would pay...

Moonseed hated to think that it had something to do with Razor but she was suspicious. Hadn't all this started -after- Razor was accepted on board the pack? She continued to stalk, intending to kill the rivals.

Shadow followed quietly making very little noise. He could see Moonseed's intentions, but he didn't care all that much, he figured the other pack deserves it.

Razor eyed the markers, but didn't recognize them. Deciding that he needn't worry about being going against his old pack, the Treecko followed the others stealthily. Although he enjoyed talking and making noise, Razor knew how to be quiet when it was required. Anyways, it was possible the others blamed him for this and he had to prove he had nothing to do with it.

ic: Moonseed trailed the signs of the intruders to beyond the berry grove. Apparently they had claimed this whole place. Further up ahead she saw movement--another treecko! " We'll get that one and bring it in for questioning!" And she took off running.

Moonseed quickly reached the other treecko. She whipped out her hand and clamped it about the treecko's neck. " What are you doing here, invader?"
" I--" The treecko gasped for breath. He pawed at Moonseed's clawed hand. " --not an intruder--"
" Then what are you doing here."

" They're not my pack! I was attacked by them! I think they're still in the area..."
" Fine," said Moonseed. " Then you'll lead us to them. Which way?"

" I'll take you to them!" said the treecko. " I will! They went that way!" He pointed to the northeast. Moonseed set out in that direction.

The treecko led Moonseed and her seven packies onward, north-northeast mostly, or as close to that direction as the twists and turns of trails allowed. Moonseed smelled trouble up ahead. Pack trouble. " Everyone, get ready to fight."
This treecko would die first, she thought.

Shadow was ready for a fight, the food had set in well and he hadn't gotten a chance earlier to fight, so he was ready this time.

The pack came into view, the alpha pair showig up first. Moonseed saw quickly that they were both larger and stronger than herself and her own new male. Several grovyles and treeckos came into view.
" Halt or I'll kill him!" Moonseed held up her treecko prisoner in an attempt to hold them back this way. It was her only bargaining chip.

" We need more territory," said the other pack. " So...here we are."
" You won't get this terra without losing at least a fewof your numbers!" said Moonseed. " Such as this little spy."
The trapped treecko wriggled helplessly.
" Go ahead, kill him, you think that's going to change our mind?" said the alpha of the other pack.

Shadow sighed, but he was ready for a fight, they had just found this territory and he wasn't about to let it get taken. "Well then, Moonseed, should we stand and fight?" he asked her quietly so the other pack couldn't hear.

" We will!" If Moonseed died fighting for her territory then she would have died with honour. She saw the other alphess and her mate getting ready to fight as well.

Moonseed snapped the treecko's neck and flung him to the ground. " Bring it on." The other pack surrounded them already so Moonseed sought to get around that. She fired a volley of razor leaves at the nearest two and charged at the space between them, attempting to break the circle.
The enemy pack responded with razor leaves of their own.
ooc: you can control the other pack as you feel like it ^_^
