Shadow reacted quickly with a Quick Attack and slammed through one of the Treecko in the circle. The other Treecko near him became surprised by Shadow and backed off. A Grovyle went after Shadow and attacked with Quick Attack. Shadow was thrown backwards. He quickly got up and let out a Dragonbreath that hit the Grovyle and paralized it. The Alphess charged at Moonseed and let out another Razor Leaf.

Razor was hidden in a tree, watching the proceedings curiously. He didn't know many useful attacks... he was only young and knew pound. But couldn't that do some good damage if he took the others by surprise? Razor could jump in and attack and be gone again before the others knew what had happened... Grinning, he leapt from the tree and whacked one of the enemy Treecko with his tail before disappearing up another tree. From there he ran down a branch and chose his next victam.

The enemy treecko fell over, but stood back up and then saw Razor up there. In hot pursuit he climbed up the tree after him.

Seeing the Treecko chasing after him, Razor leapt out and whacked at it as he fell to the earth. Hopefully this would knock it out of the tree, but he wasn't sure. The moment his feet touched the ground again though, Razor was off, up another tree. He was too young to be able to defend in any ways other than avoiding attack altogether.

The other treecko was a little bigger and older than he was. " You'll be sorry you picked a fight with me, little one," he sneered as he began to climb up that tree after him.

Shadow looked at the other pokemon darkly, his shadowed color making him look very different from the others, "So who's up?" he asked before picking out a Treecko that was about his size, "You." he said letting out a Magical Leaf that sliced into the Treecko. It shreiked, in pain. Shadow used a Quick Attack to knock the Treecko back into a tree. It fought back with a Pound, hitting Shadow and knocking him backwards. Shadow let out a Dragonbreath on the Treecko, the Treecko knew he was going to lose this when the attack hit and paralized him. Shadow let out a Magical Leaf, but a Grovyle stepped in and took the hit.
"You wanna fight, then fight me!" the Grovyle said with a Leer.
"Grrr.... Fine! I will!!!" Shadow said shooting off a Magical Leaf again.

The rival alphess had pinned Moonseed to the ground. She opened her mouth and prepared to deal her the crushing bite.
Moonseed lay there, unable to fight off the bigger sceptile. She accepted her death; at least this way she was dying with honour...

One of the Grovyle in Moonseed's pack caught the sight of Moonseed's situation and let off a Magical Leaf on the rival alphess, "Take me instead!" he said hoping to stop the alphess from killing Moonseed.
The Grovyle was hit once more with a Magical Leaf. He cursed and let off a Magical Leaf of his own. Shadow was hit and hurt. He used a Quick Attack, but the Grovyle got his hit in first. Shadow was sent backwards. "Ugh..." he managed before becoming over come with a glow of light, his body starting to change.

Seeing that Moonseed was in danger, and wanting to prove his loyalty to his new pack, Razor leapt out of the tree to pound the Sceptile. It might not do much damage, but hopefully it would be enough to distract the pokemon...
