As always, Zeelo followed closely, only a step or two behind his master. Admittably Chancol wasnt as grand and powerful as Amira but he was more intellegent then his previous mistress and was a good leader. Zeelo had never known the very first shadowlord as he came here with Amira. Then when Amira scarpered for an unknown reason and left Zeelo behind he realised he wouldnt be able to chase her. So he decided rather than to try he should stay with the Horde and serve the next Shadowlord. This he has done and treats Chancol just like Amira. Zeelo was a well trained servant, or 'pet' as Amira had called him. He knew when to bow, when to speak, when not to, when to obey and how to keep others under control. He was also strong so fighting off enemies wasnt a problem. He looked back up at Chancol. The charmeleon obviously had a oplan with these caves. And Zeelo would be by his side, ready to help however he could. Zeelo has been brought up to obey he wouldnt know how to disobey Chancol even if he had wanted to. For now he looked round, ready to fight or watch or do anything his Master asked of him. (There you go a bit of Zeelos history )

Deo nodded lightly, listening to his Master speak. He sensed something odd now. A familiar aura. A recent one. He recognized it immediately, and teleported in front of Chancol, just before a Psycho Boost hit, which hit Deo square in the chest. He remained up for a few seconds, before collapsing to the ground, KOed. Up above, maybe 100 feet away, was Arren, looking angry.

"Crap...he's back," Luna muttered. She looked to Chancol for instructions.

Grinning, he simply said, "You have one nice place here, Arren. Any specific reason why you've been guarding these caverns?" The dark green charmeleon walked forward as he awaited an answer from the hybrid legendary.
"Zeelo, whatever you did earlier that knocked him out, I want you to do it again, and if your abilities include similarities to what Zeelo does, then please follow suit," Chancol stopped, reducing the distance to about seventy-five units.
Returning his attention to his new acquaintance, "So you were so determined to kill me--or maybe just injure--that you didn't see past the fact that Deo is a loyal member of the Horde now? Was it your lack of intelligence that kept you from seeing that?" he asked wondering if he'd get any emotional response. Continuing with a smirk still on his face, "Now, let me ask you one last thing...if you never wanted your friend to switch over to our side, why didn't you assist...no...why didn't you stop him from trying to attack our Fortress? Most pokemon know not to tread near unless they're truly ready for battle. Yet did you just let him go? Or were you not there when he made the choice?"
ooc: sorry if it gets a little confusing ^_^

Zeelos eyes snapped upwards as the attack hit Deo. He looked over at Chancol and nodded before looking back over at Arren. Something hung from his neck. "Master, what is that?" he asked.

You should know why I guard this place by now, Chancol. To protect it and it's contents from pokemon like you! Arren was wondering why Chancol was closing the distance between them, but it didn't matter. But then he heard about Deo. Deo is NOT loyal to you! He is controlled by you, his will and mind are twisted by you! He shouted angrily. He was going to the Horde because Rayzor told him to scout, Deo never even told me he was going to scout here, and besides, we had lost contact 5 months earlier! Arren shouted. He was getting very angry, but knew how to use it instead of letting it blind him. He simply crossed his arms and smirked. And if you're so all mighty, you puny Shadowlord, why was Deo able to break free before? And why doesn't your aura affect me in the slightest? Arren mocked, just trying to buy time. He glared down at Deo, and started willing him to teleport to Elyssia.

Chancol laughed, "I may be puny,--yet I don't mind--but I'm much sharper than most others than you'll meet. You were transported to Elyssa, where the legendary rayquaza Rayzor is, and by what I've heard, he's the equivalent of my position now at the head of the Horde...and if what Zeelo just pointed out--" Chancol noted the glare that the hybrid gave Deo, and continued to close the gap between himself and the other, "those objects on your neck have something to do with your cockiness." Smirking he wondered if Arren would try to get Deo away from the Caverns.

"Milord," Luna whispered. "I've heard about those stones. If it's not too bold to say, since I don't know much about the shadow energy, but I don't think we can shadow him. But of course, I'm sure you already know that, and have a plan," she told him, her eyes never leaving Arren. She knew he had either forgotten about her or was extremely angry at her, and she didn't want to take her chances.

Zeelo growled and used a faint attack, disappearing into shadows. However before he could land the attack the stone on Arrens neck glowed brightly. It sent a blast at Zeelo as he reappeared and he was thrown backwards, crashing into the cave wall. He growled weakily and struggled to stand up before falling back down again.

Arren just ignored Chancol for a moment, glaring angrily at Luna, then looking on as Zeelo tried pulling off a Faint Attack. He simply grinned as Zeelo was repelled, and thought of something. He started shooting Zap Cannons down everywhere, mainly at Chancol and Zeelo, while not concentrating as much on Luna as He started teleporting Deo to Elyssia.

Zeelo managed to kick himself to his feet and use a protect around himself, Chancol and Luna so the Zap Cannons couldnt hit. He was still weak from being repelled but didnt know why it had happened. My Faint Attack is a trustworthy attack and has never failed before. SO why now? Whats different? Is it because its a legendary? No I fought Deo with it. Hmmmm, He thought to himself. His eye slid back upto Arren and it clicked. The stone repelled dark energy. And Faint attack was a dark attack! So it wouldnt work.

Luna used her own protect to strengthen Zeelo's. She watched carefully. ~So, faint attack didn't work...so what will? If it was...I got it!~ she thought. She let out a sigh. "I'm not the best fighter, but here goes nothing," she muttered to herself and charged toward Arren in a tackle.

Zeelo was one step ahead of her. After explaining his theory to Chancol he decided to test it. Opening his mouth he blasted out a flamethrower. The white hot flames of one of Zeelos favourite attacks went flying through the air towards Arren.

Chancol thanked Zeelo after the protect had served its purpose, he actually began to wonder how things would turn out, he awaited to see what Arren's reaction to Zeelo's and Luna's attacks, questioning whether or not the legendary would move or be affected at all.

Arren simply flew above Luna, making her miss him completely with the tackle. Arren saw the flamethrower, and used a simple Protect. Zeelo, I figured out what you do now. Arren said, closing his eyes and using his Lucario half so he could sense his surroundings. He aimed at Zeelo, and shot off Zap Cannons at him, making them stronger than before. Deo vanished, teleporting to Elyssia thanks to Arren.

"Move it!" Luna shouted, charging at Zeelo. She had pushed him away seconds before the attack struck the designated spot, both safe and sound. She let a small smile break on her face. "Couldn't have this happen again, could we?" she said.

Zeelo stood up and looked at Luna. "Thank you," he said before leping over her and landing next to Chancol. He used another flamethrower.

Luna got on the other side of Chancol. She only knew shadow attacks and tackle, so she was basically useless at the moment.

It was hard to come up with a plan to defeat Arren at the moment, since there weren't any exceptionally strong pokemon that could stand up to a legendary of his power. "We retreat for now...into the caves," he awaited for his two allies to move upon his command before moving himself. He hoped that Arren would follow inside, during his wait, Chancol began to concentrate his aura in a smaller area, hoping there was some way to overload the stones' capacity, even if there were two, time hopefully would play out on his side.

Arren had dodged the Flamethrower, then grinned as Chancol started to retreat. But Arren knew he must but up to something. Arren didn't know what could be done in there, so flying down, he followed Chancol and his followers, wondering what was going on. Inside the cave, he made the stones light up, giving him full view of the cave, but unfortunately, doing the same for Chancol. Cornered now, Chancol. Arren said.

Luna followed right behind Chancol. Her eyes landed on Arren for a few moments. He hadn't attacked yet, but she made sure she was between him and the Shadowlord.

ooc: hehe, sry about that -_-'' I've been a bit busy recently, European History Projects are getting way annoying at this point...Its just like reading a 250+ page text book T-T
ic: Chancol grinned at the many elemental evolution sources that were present within the wondrous cavern and its multiple branches. As time goes by, the small lizard's mind wraps and unwraps itself around many different plans to hold this stronghold of gleaming gems once he's able to rid the area of the menacing legendary. Luckily he still had the alakazam that transported him to the area with him now to assist, between the three psychic pokemon and the Shadowlord, there was a private mental link between them allowing the charmeleon to communicate with the others.
He carefully began to instruct two of the alakazam to start up an offensive plan. Once his mental conversation finished, the two psychics disappeared.
~ Outside where the original location of the scavenger group was, the alakazam started to draw symbols in the ground, this technique was great for quicker and larger transportations, depending on the size and difficulty of the rune. Obviously the more complex and smaller the size, the more potent the rune would be, but it wouldn't be able to transport many pokemon at once. As some may think, there aren't any ways to keep up a constant teleportation rune without the constant focus of any nearby psychic pokemon on both ends.

(May I point out that I couldnt reply till Burn had. So HA its not my fault ^_^) Zeelo's eyes were kept firmly on Arren. One wrong move, he thought to himself. One wrong move and that legendry wont know what it him! Still standing by the Shadowlord, Zeelo gave a quick glance behind him as the psychic pokemon disappeared.

Arren looked down into the cave, keeping an eye on the group ahead. Chancol, just give up. I'll take you out hard if you don't. I'm giving you this one chance. Arren said, crossing his arms as he held up a Protect, making sure in was unnoticed. He wasn't a bad pokemon, and he wanted to give them a chance.

Chancol chuckled, "You'll have to try and get me if you want to, but I have to admit...you did a good job in countering my plans," his ambitions weren't going to cloud his mind, nor his personality, so he kept a calm tone about his voice as he ordered the alakazam to teleport the small group back to the Fortress. The cunning lizard gave a nod of good-bye just before the white light engulfed the small group and disappeared. (ooc: This is to just prevent autoing Ren, Jespeon, if you want your characters to stay behind, then so be it ^_^ but it doesn't mean I'm coming back for them...*evil laugh*. If not, then the thread is moved back to the Fortress. Atm I cant stay on much longer so I have no idea if I'm going to post or not again)
