No dazed look in the eyes, no slight twitching, damn it hadnt worked again! Zeelo looked up at Deo, then at Arren. "Bring him with us. If you have enough energy of course. Looks like he'll be knocked out for a while and we could do with him on our side," said Zeelo, calmly.

Deo was about to answer, but his entire boy froze from incredible amounts of pain. His chest tightened, and he even threw up, but instead of puke here was blood. He knew what this meant. God dammit Zeelo, I dont know why, but I'm internally bleeding it seems, but I don't know why! Deo said. It's because I'm fighting back, for Arren's sake! A voice shouted. I will not allow you to shadow my friend!

Zeelo eyed Deo, locking him in his gaze like he did to Arren. Without blinking or breaking eye-contact, he sent a message in shadow energy to Chancol. Emregency. Deo is unshadowing. I have him trapped in the outside of the caverns. Arren the hybrid guardian is here too but is knocked out. Hurry, I dont know how long I can hold a legendary!

Deo froze once Zeelo made eye contact. Both had their own ideas now. Zeelo, knock me out, now! Or do something that will scramble him, like a Confuse Ray! He shouted. But the other him had something else to think. It shot a Psychic directly at Zeelo. Even with his body frozen, the true Deo knew what to do.

Zeelo dodged the beam of psychic energy not a second too soon. The beam missed him by an inch as he rolled to the side. However his Mean Look attack had stopped as he had lost eye-contact. He growled and turned on Deo, before disappearing in the darkness. He appeared right in front of Deo using a faint attack. A perfect attack as it can never miss.

The true Deo noticed the second he could move again, and saw Zeelo disappeared. he brought his arms in front of him, using Protect. The Faint Attack bounced off, since it can't pierce a Protect. Then he tried using a Psycho Boost, but froze. You won't attack my comrade! Zeelo, knock me out, get me to the Horde so I can be reshadowed! The Dark Deo said. Two conflicting personas in the same body. Tough.

Zeelo growled and opened his mouth. White hot flames flew out of his mouth. The Flamethrower flew towards Deo.

Deo tried moving but the shadow in him wouldn't let him. He was engulfed by the flamethrower, and cried out in pain. By the time the flamethrower finished, Deo was on the ground, smoking and burnt.

Zeelo looked over, curiously, but knew better than to approach. His flamethrower was a strong attack but he could tell by Deo's twitching that it hadnt knocked him out. He hadnt expected it to. He closed his eyes and melted into the shadows, waiting for Deo to get up again.

Quickly, Chancol had arrived on the scene, the four psychic pokemon easily able to teleport themselves and three others. Unfortunately the group had appeared closer to where Deo currently was on the ground injured. "I need specifics on what happened here. Now," he said to Zeelo, raising a brow.

Deo, before Zeelo could even reply, got up, obviously burnt all over. I got specifics for ya. NO ONE CONTROLS ME! Deo shouted, throwing Psycho Boosts down at the ground, creating a massive earthquake, larger than one made from an Earthquake attack.

Luna stood her ground and used protect. "What should we do, Milord?" she asked.

Zeelo doubled up the protect for extra safety. When the attack finished, he dropped the barrier and jumped infront of Deo, locking him in place with another mean look. "Arren went down then Deo started switching personalities between his shadowed and none shadowed self. He began attacking but I managed to send the message before he attacked. I can keep him at bay for as long as needed until he can be re-shadowed. Arren too would be a good shadowed pokemon if we can get him back. I hve made sure he should be knocked put for a while but I'm not sure how long exactly," Zeelo explained, not taking his eyes off Deo so the legendary remained imobilized.

Chancol kept calm as he began to focus, the shadow barrier becoming concentrated as it began to shrink in size. Long periods of practice--much to the dismay of the many shadow pokemon back at the Fortress, since they constantly felt confused about the constant lack and gain of power throughout the day--had paid off as the area seemed to darken slightly in the eyes of an already shadowed pokemon, but in the eyes of a light, normally, the darkness made it seem like almost twilight. He awaited responses from both Arren and Deo. If the darkness overcame both of the legendaries, it would be an excellent day for the Horde, giving them a guardian that knew the whole layout of the Caverns, if they went deeper into the ground, yet if they were only able to get Deo back, the death to the legendary hybrid would be fine by him also.

Deo's mind, already susceptible to the process of shadowing, started breaking down. He fell to his knees, his attacks ending, his body freezing. No, not again! Deo's body began changing back to it's shadowed form, but not before he looked over to Arren, teleporting him out of the area. There you Horde bastards...you're not shadowing my friend, even if I have to sacrifice my own will to save him... Deo fell to the ground, completely shadowed once again.

Luna let out a sigh. "He's down, milord," she said simply. ~And the hybrid's gone...there goes that plan...~ she thought.

"Memories are usually shared between split personalities, since they must use the same mind..." Chancol began, not exactly knowing how things like this worked, but he was pretty sure of himself, "We shall try to get the old Deo's memories via his stored memories. Since the two kept switching back and forth quickly, recall should be pretty easy for him, the last place he thought of before passing out would be the first place we check."
Chancol wasn't the one to be stopped in his tracks because of this minor inconvenience, "Truely...this is better than before...now that the guardian is gone, look what we have now."

Zeelo broke away from Deo as Chancol increased the shadowing. He stepped back, ignoring Deo's yells. But a slight nagging sensation hit him.
Zeelo wasnt shadowed, he followed for his master. So he could see Deo's struggling did touch him.
He growled at himself for thinking this, then bowed to Chancol and sat down, eyes scanning everywhere.

~Oh...I get it! We have the caverns now.~ Luna thought. She glanced at Deo. "Is that...what it's like to be shadowed?" she mumbled the question, mostly to herself.

Chancol chuckled, one could consider it in an 'evil' tone, but it was just the norm for him, "Hm, this event will add to my knowledge about my affects on light pokemon," he said, not knowing of Luna's question Smiling a little, "Yet, I don't even understand fully how this aura works. It'll take a much longer time to figure out specifics on how this power works."
The charmeleon walked over to Deo a scowl on his face, questioning how and why Deo could break the bond between his shadowed form. The next in the many line of questions now was to determine whether or not that if one wasn't born from shadowed parents, could you break away from a shadowed state of mind and body while out of the presence of the Shadowlord?

Deo began to stir from his pain-induced sleep, unfortunately for him, still shadowed. His eyes fluttered open, almost completely blanked out, his mind pushed aside from the pain-induced shadowing. Oh gods... Deo leaned over, throwing up on the ground, his body sore and damaged. "What did I miss...?" Deo murmurs, looking around. He looks up, seeing the Shadowlord scowling at him, which causes Deo to stand up abruptly, wondering what he had done. S-Shadowlord? Did I do something? I don't remember anything...

"Hm...you don't really remember anything?" Chancol's face quickly switched, portraying his calming state of mind, he was pretty prepared to deal with Deo's other side just before the legendary woke up. "Well, you broke your shadowed bond, you almost harmed Zeelo, luckily he was able to defend himself..." ending the quick explanation he asked, "Where would you associate your friend Arren with? As in places of memory that you had probably first met him, or his home before the Caverns etcetera," he didn't want to have any chance of recovering memory to disappear before it could be too late, even if the deoxys couldn't remember at the moment, subconsciously it might be there.

Arren? Hm...probably the Healing Haven at the Great Erymire Lake, or Elyssia. Both places were places he visited often. Why, Shadowlord? Deo was curious as to what Arren was involved in. But as the rest of the Shadowlord's statement sunk in, he was shocked. Wait, I thought it wasn't possible to break the shadow's hold on a pokemon. Deo said, utterly surprised. He rubbed his head, the migraine of a headache started to dissipate, and memories slowly recovering, to Deo's luck.

Zeelo watched, listening as always. He was sat by Chancol, ready to obey what he commanded and ready to give advise if needed. For now he waited.
Zeelo was pleased with himself for defending aginst Deo and alerting the shadowlord, and even more pleased as Chancol seemed to notice too.

Luna watched Deo, curious about the shadow power. For one reason or another, she hadn't been shadowed. She asumed it was either because she was already a dark type or that she submited right away. Either way, she was there. She was part of the horde. She admired the Shadowlord and did whatever the higher members told her. She was still curious though...

"If you remember your first days at the Fortress, you should recall that they weren't very pleasant. You were subdued and captured while Amira was still the Shadowlord, but it was in the early time that I had become Shadowlord that your will had been broken and transformed to serve the Horde...it could be the fact that you had spent so much time that your former self just conserved itself mentally, awaiting for a time to fight back as apparently you had said earlier," Chancol explained looking from Deo to Zeelo then to Luna.
"Zeelo, I appreciate that you had sent warning early enough before this could have gotten out of hand. If other regions had heard of this takeover, then times would be tough holding down the Fortress and the Caverns," his eyes were focused on the entrance to the twisting caverns, but he gave a nod of approval to Zeelo. Chancol continued on, still examining the entrance his mind split somewhat into two as he was talking to his comrades, but then his mind was thinking more and more about if a rune-like portal could be opened to constantly transport Horde back and forth between the two locations, "Deo, I would recommend from now on that you don't spend too long outside of the range of my aura, since it would seem that since you had weakened yourself from the multiple teleportations, it seems as if that your body is being monitored by your other half. So if you're feeling weak ever, always try to stay in range," Chancol gave another look towards Deo, hoping he could make sense of what he said, even sometimes the charmeleon needed to re-word a few things to make it understandable.

Deo listened intently, hearing the Shadowlord explain what had happened to him, and he instantly felt different, his memories being jogged up. Remembering it all, he wondered what had even caused his former self to exist.
So, don't spend too much time away from your aura? Alright then, Shadowlord. Deo said, bowing his head. Then he felt something. It was odd, like he was being watched, but from himself. He knew what that meant. Shadowlord, I do think my former self is keeping tabs on me. I can feel him...just watching and waiting. Deo said. He then mentally called out to Arren, trying to find his location. Deo felt him, at Elyssia. Shadowlord, Arren is at Elyssia. I just sensed him there. Deo said.

"Well, then I guess we'll have to come up with a way to keep that 'other-self' of yours under control. Time will eventually reveal more and more secrets and ways to influence or dominate the free will of others with this aura. For now, we will now scout out the Caverns, making note of how the designs are, maybe even a place to dig out a living quarters for the Horde," Chancol replied, walking into said entrance. His mind raced with questions and possible scenarios as to how he could further control Deo, because now, the legendary could be a serious threat to the general well being of the Horde.
