Charkon slowly walked around the ring of the top of the volcano, he sighed to himself as he looked around for his brother. If they were to train some more, they needed to set out now while it was still light. His tailflame flickered in the diminishing sunlight.
~Fireclaw, where the hell could you be?~ at the moment he was hungry. Charkon didn't want his brother not to have something to eat before sundown, so training wasn't the only purpose of venturing around at this time of day.

Fireclaw came up towards Charkon dragging a dead Ivysaur behind him. "Hungry?" he asked with a smile.

"C'mon, you went hunting without me? Damn, oh well," he said. Charkon liked the rewarding feeling of catching his own food, but hey, nothing was wrong with a free meal! The twin grinned and began to dig in to the dead grass pokemon.

Fireclaw dug in as well. The food tasted good, he really liked Ivysaur.

Personally, Ivysaur weren't his favorite food to eat, but rather he liked to eat beef from a miltank or tauros, but there wasn't anything wrong with the meal at hand. "Wanna go look around for a while after this? Or wanna go look for somethin' to kill?" he asked Fireclaw.

"Sure, it's always interesting to get a good look around, then train some afterwords." Fireclaw replied to his twin brother.

Charkon got up, his belly full and stretched for a bit, waiting for Fireclaw to finish. Since they were on the outside of the volcano, he searched for an entrance to the lower levels of the lava-bowl. He yawned, and felt a bit tired, but that was only due to the fact of having a full belly.

Fireclaw soon finished, but he didn't fill himself too much, he ate what he needed and didn't over fill. He had learned, don't over eat, it doesn't do much good while out in the open. "Ready when you are..." he said to Charkon.

Charkon nodded and headed towards the cavern that looked like it was either inhabited by other chars or let to lower levels of the volcano. He took a step in and saw that it wasn't just a straight through passageway, but it had a couple different directions. At the moment he couldn't remember which way to go, so he just began navigating the corridors. He stopped, "Fireclaw, you comin'?"

"Yeah... I standing right next to you..." Fireclaw said sighing at his brother.

"Hm?" Charkon said, looking to the other side of him, "Oh, hehe I guess I didn't see you there," he chuckled. As they continued through the cavern he began to hear chatter up ahead, "We must be close enough, I'm gonna take a nice long dip in the lava pools to relax before heading out."

"Yeah... that sounds great..." Fireclaw said at the idea of taking a dip.

Charkon turned another corner and saw a couple of lava pools, it wasn't the main bowl of lava that could be seen from the top of the volcano, but a few smaller ones that rested inside. The charmander jumped in and 'swam' around for a bit.

Fireclaw followed suit, it felt good in these lava pools. He always enjoyed being with his twin... maybe because they were so much alike.

Charkon grinned, but then overheard a conversation by two charizards in a nearby lava pool.
"Hey, did you hear about what happened at the eastern Fortress?" one char, female, asked.
"What? I already know about the horde living there, what else is there to know?" the other replied, another female.
"Their leader was killed by an aruseus and the Horde are coming to an end. That's what I've heard from my friend who lives out in that direction," she stated, obviously glad.
"Well that's good to hear, finally no one will have to worry about anything ever," the other said.
~
Charkon finished his eavesdropping, "Hey, have you heard of the Horde at all?" he asked his twin brother, although he didn't expect him to know anyone.

"I've heard what you've heard..." Fireclaw said, "It's not like we're apart that much to find something new that the other doesn't know...."

The charmander was a bit curious, but decided to set aside his curiosity for now and not bother to find out more from anyone else at the moment. He shrugged, "We'll find out later, but for now let's get out and train for a bit before settling down," Charkon said getting out of the lava pool.

"Sounds good..." Fireclaw said as he got out of the lava pool. He found a good spot and was ready, "Lets fight in here so we don't destroy too much... we don't need to be burning down the forest do we?"

"Okay, your move first," Charkon said, ready to spar. He just took a quick glance around to see how many lava pools were nearby so he wouldn't fall into one by accident.

Fireclaw starts off with Dragon Rage, creating a shockwave to damage Charkon.

Charkon dodges, barely, and rushes in while using Ember, hoping that the closing in range would keep Fireclaw from focusing on attacking right after he dodges or is hit by the attack.

Fireclaw gets hit by the attack as he rushes in for a Fire Fang. He has gotten alot stronger than his brother in recent times...

Charkon wasn't the one to improve on strength very well, but when it came to speed, he was much better at that than attacking. Able to move in time, Charkon wasn't hit fully by the Fire Fang, but some damage was taken. He used a smokescreen to cloud the area so he could hopefully have the advantage.

Fireclaw seen this smokescreen coming. He carefully moved through it, listening to the sounds around him. ~There!~ he thought as he closed in to use a Scratch attack.

Charkon had already positioned himself next to another lava pool, he crouched, grinning. He waited for Fireclaw to get close enough...

Fireclaw charged towards Charkon ready to use the Scratch attack.

Charkon screwed up his timing and fell back into the lava pool, as a defense. He wondered what Fireclaw thought of that! He smirked, waiting under the surface hoping for his brother to either stop at the edge or fall in.

Fireclaw heard the splash and stopped in his tracks, just a few feet away from the edge. ~Fell in did he... hehehe...~ he thought, backing away from the edge.

Charkon resurfaced on the other side of the pool, a smirk on his face. Since his brother was quite stronger than he was at the moment, he decided to see how long he could last.

Fireclaw looked at Charkon, "Having fun are we? You have really been slacking on your training you know..." he said while giving a similar smirk, then he released a Dragon Rage attack to send a shock wave across the pool of lava.
