The pidgeot swooped down, using a quick attack to attempt to meet Fireclaw head on with his charge, the ember barely taking any effect on the fast bird. If Fireclaw could slow it down just for a little, they'd have a chance to turn this fight around.

Fireclaw stopped and braced himself for the attack, he aimed to grab one of the bird's wings and try to slow it down, and if possible, send the bird crashing into a tree. He waited carefully getting ready for the pidgeot to get close.

The bird swooped in for a quick attack, its wings flapping a few times before gliding much faster than before. The pidgeot gained balance after moving its wings to attack the charmander that was right in front of it. Charkon prepared to jump if necessary, his eyes following the birds movements as it approached his brother.

Fireclaw shifted just a little bit to get at a better point on the wing, he waited, and was hit by the birds wing, it hurt his arms very painfully as he attempted to try and turn the bird in the brief period of time that he had to do so. He hoped Charkon would use this to his advantage.

The bird fluttered a little while it recovered from the resisted impact by Fireclaw. While it remained in the same spot for a little, Charkon jumped down, his claws flailing and cutting the birds wing, disabling its flight. Although it was a successful attack, falling from that hight wasn't something that came without a recoil effect.

Fireclaw fell over, he couldn't hold on for any longer, "He Charkon, you alright?" he asked smirking as energy seemed to well up inside of him... he felt something coming, something good. He was going to take that bird out...

Charkon shook his head as he felt that his left arm and leg took quite a bit of damage, reducing his ability to move as the bird chased after him. As best as he could he used his good side to move himself along while using his lefts to block the birds pecking. "Well this isn't what I'd say is alright!" he called back.

Fireclaw steadily glowed as he charged the bird from behind and bit down with a Fire Fang attack into the back of the bird's neck.

Charkon gathered his balance and waited for the result of his brother attacking...and glowing. The bird was able to wiggle free and instead of suffering a fatal bite to the neck, the bite landed in the wing that Charkon had already disabled, but the attack caused pain to the large bird.
