Flourish couldn't fly while holding onto Ares. He had to let go. " See if you can tie him up!" he shouted at the spinarak.

"I'll try!!" Ares yelled back at Flourish watching him fly off. Ares scampered along the ground and then on top of the Scythers head. So far the scyther did'nt know where he was.

The Scyther sighed, deciding this wasn't worth the trouble. She could get much bigger meals if she wished, which probably also tasted better than other bugs. She flung open her wings and began to beat them rapidly, beginning to take off into the air. She decided now that she would join the Horde, become part of the swarm.

'WAAAAAH" Ares yelled on top of the Scythers head then fell to the earth below. landing on the ground Ares looked around and then blacked out.

The Scyther darted off toward the place where she knew the Horde's fortress lay. "I think it's time to show what I'm worth..." she hissed.

ooc: Up to you. You can join a thread there or make your own. Just remember that going there means she'll become a shadow pokemon of the horde. Alcatraz and Lelaka are pretty much the only ones who can come and go from that place, and I guess any other psychics who can teleport.
ic: " The...what?" Flourish shook his head and sat back. At least Ares didn't seem -that- badly hurt...

When he was sleeping, Ares had a dream. In his dream he saw Flourish and Scaralet and the Scyther and the Butterfree he had eaten earlier. He watched them come closer and closer and then he woke up, sweating, if a bug could.

While repairing his web Ares talked about his life. "Never saw my folks, when I first opened my eyes they weren't there. Never have been there for me. I turned out fine. tought myself to do everything I did." Ares was just telling the facts

Flourish flew off to go find some more honey. Scarlet, meanwhile, returned.

" I don't even remember my parents," said Scarlet. " I hatched and I could just take care of myself. That's how it always is , I thought." She wasn't even aware that some pokemon needed to be cared for by their parents when young. Anyone who wasn't born knowing how to look after themselves had to be pretty weak.

'Hi," Ares said back. they obviously still hadn't warmed up to him and that was ok. Ares had gone for 3 years without a friend. He could wait another few days.
