Duran looked round the somewhat large group. "Who else wants to join us? If you join in the hunt, you get to partake of the kill." His mouth was already watering with the thought of sinking his teeth into juicy blood-filled flesh.

Cen blinked, "I'm Incendo Vita, though most just call me Cen. And yes, I would like to participate in a hunt. It has been a while since I've been able to flex my muscles." He watched as the Vulpix tried to sneak up on the ratacade and almost laughed when the pichu scared it off, "Well, you know what they say. When you see one, there's bound to be forty more nearby. We might as well try to find another."

Duran found his way onto the same trail Moon was on. Walking beside her, he followed it towards its source.

Duran didn't wait any longer. Once he saw the raticate, he rushed it from behind, darted round to the side and leaped upwards, aiming his jaws at the big rat's throat.

Duran hung on as the raticate struggled for its life. He bit deeper and felt blood spurt from the wound. He had hit the jugular.

Duran realised he didn't have to wait to eat. He was no longer in the Horde having to wait until the more dominant members had eaten already. He started right in, slaking his thirst on the blood of the raticate that he had killed. the air was filled with the sounds of meat squishing and tearing.

Duran had soon eaten his fill and sat back from the kill's remains, licking the blood off his muzzle. That had really hit the spot. He had been needing to eat for some time...hadn't eaten a thing since leaving the Horde.

"I guess you never could see it, but they do change," said Duran. Back in the Horde, if he'd seen this happening to anyone he would've assumed they were possessed.
