skipping through the meadow

[Jaemon]

Zodiac was starting to twitch. It pained him that they haven't left the... 'blood' scene. He was starting to lose his patientance, but... he tried his best to console his hunger.

[wynnyelle]

"There is definitely something the matter with you," said Charna, looking back at Zodiac, "although I knew that from the get-go. Good pokegods, if you have to pee just do it."

[Omega]

"Are you sure there isn't some sort of private residence where the arceus resides?" asked Sombra.

[wynnyelle]

"Maybe the private residence is in those caves somewhere," said Charna. She sighed. "Well as long as we're here I might as well tell you who I am. I'm Charna of Hallowmoor. Looking for a legendary pokemon who can shed some light on a few things for me."

"I'm Carni," said the black flaaffy, rather dispassionately. "Of...of the hills. I come from Erymire. I've never been anywhere else."

Charna felt a little more hopeful now. If Carni was a native, he might be able to point the way to more knowledgeable pokemon.

[Ren]

((GAAAH! Too much! >__< I leave it on the beginning of page five and now it's already to page six! My tiny little dyslexic mind can't handle all of this! Sorry if I don't post for a while on this thread...))

[Omega]

"You're from here?" asked Sombra, "Where does the arceus live?"

[wynnyelle]

"I told you, I don't know," said Carni. "Erymire...it's huge. I only know certain parts of it and those parts aren't where any arceus lives."

[Omega]

"Well that's just perfect," said Sombra, "Now what?"

[wynnyelle]

"Sombra, don't snap at him, he can't help it if he doesn't know where the arceus is, our problems aren't his problems," said Charna. She looked back at Carni, "well...how about we let you rest up for a bit. You don't look in any condition to go anywhere. Then maybe you could point us to where any pokemon might be who do know where the arceus could be?"

[Omega]

"Any information would be of utmost importance," said Sombra to Carni.

[wynnyelle]

Carni closed his eyes. His head was spinning, he didn't know if it was from bloodloss or just being nagged at. "I said it already. I don't know."

[Paper]

Jupe, to say in the least, was having a very good day. He wasn't even sure why himself; it was merely just the sunny disposition he had been carrying around all day wasn't dissolving. He had decided subconsciously as he was padding through the forest to do something he usually didn't do; explore. Which, as the way fate lays itself out, is how he accidentally stumbled across an entrance to the meadow. Jupe headed aimlessly past the waving stalks of grass until muffled sounds of conversation appeared, and the scents of multiple Pokémon wafted through the air. He nudged two or three more stalks of overgrown grass out of his way and wasn't extremely surprised to find several Pokémon on the other side. Jupe blinked slowly at them, his voice coming out as more of a question than a statement. "Hello?"

[wynnyelle]

"Uh-oh." Charna saw a growlithe approaching. Ordinarily, her kind and his kind were enemies. This growlithe looked different from any of the more exotic ones that prowled Hallowmoor, but she knew a canine pokemon when she saw one. They frequently preyed on her kind. Charna drew in her breath and felt herself tense up. Her electricity was building. Most likely, the growlithe had been drawn to them by the smell of blood.

[Damien]

" Casey, I think you shouldn't listen. " Damien said and slightly pushed her back.

" No, I wanna listen! " She protested.

[Paper]

Jupe noticed small sparks of lightning building up on the Ampharos in front of him. Relatively speaking, he realized the Ampharos and him were natural enemies; he guessed they thought he was going to attack. "Uhm, no.. I'm.. not here for that."[/color] He said quickly. The stench of blood penetrated the almost overpowering smell of Pokémon, and Jupe saw a wounded Gardevoir behind most of the Pokémon in front of him. "What happened?"[/color] He stuttered.

[wynnyelle]

There was also a wounded all-black flaaffy, sitting up right in their midst...that was the source of the bloodscent. "Slaughter," said Carni, plain and simply.

"A horde of pokemon attacked and slaughtered his flock," said Charna. "That and we're looking for an aruseus who supposedly lives somewhere in Erymire. Do you know anything about it?"

[Omega]

Sombra turned to the strange growlithe, "If you know anything, please, tell us."

[Paper]

Jupe's eyes opened wider in shock. "The entire flock?!"[/color] He knew plenty of carnivorous Pokémon wouldn't be guilty in picking the weaker off a flock once in a while, but in one day an entire flock vanished? That was.. unimaginable. No one could get that hungry, and killing just for the sake of killing was wasteful.

"I'm, uhm, quite afraid that I don't know much at all."[/color] The Growlithe said, slightly guilty to be letting everyone down. "And I probably don't even know the truth about it, anyways. All I ever heard was stories other Pokémon would tell, and those were probably made up anyways."[/color] Jupe admitted.

[wynnyelle]

"It's okay," said Charna. "Legendary pokemon sure are secretive, aren't they."

[Omega]

"Well," replied Sombra, "if the arceus is the guardian of Erymire, shouldn't someone know where it resides?"

[wynnyelle]

"I was never taught that," said Carni. "We lived on a peaceful meadow...we never had to learn anything about stuff like arceus and legendaries and anything. It had nothing to do with how we lived."

[Omega]

"It does now," replied Sombra.

[Paper]

"Don't you guys think,"[/color] Jupe chimed in. "That if Arceus was living nearby, he'd be in a cave of some sorts? Just a thought."[/color] Jupe twitched his tail slighty as he spoke.

[wynnyelle]

"Makes sense," said Carni. "That's why I said that he might be living in the elemental caves. Though I haven't any idea where those are."

[Paper]

"Probably, but then again, he could be anywhere." Jupe admitted. "And I know a little of the ways there. My mom went there before she became an Arcanine."[/color]

[wynnyelle]

"Then it pays to check it out if we have some kind of lead to there,"said Charna. "Do you know the way there?"

[~Handy~]

Finally, a orange pachrisu comes along. He was sleeping during the conversation earleir. He says "Hey! Sorry Im a little late, but I was really tired from screaming." He started to giggle and starts talking again. "So what I miss?"

[Damien]

Damien and Casey intently listened to the conversation of the attacking of the flock. " who could be so selfish, bloodthirsty, and vicious? " He asked.

[Paper]

"I'm pretty sure," Jupe said. "I think it's to the.. um.. west, up in the mountains."[/color] Jupe said, pointing his muzzle towards the mountains showing faintly in the distance.

"Oh! Ah, We're, uh, going to go looking for Arceus. In the Elemental Caves,"[/color] Jupe told the Pachirisu.

Jupe's ears perked in thought at the question. "You're right.. what attacked your herd?"[/color] He asked.

[wynnyelle]

Carni looked around at the gathered little audience, then spoke again. "A huge, mixed group of pokemon. Was like a pack of many pokemon, mostly dog types."
