Midnight was running with all her might through a clearing in the forest. What she was running from? She had no idea. The last thing that she had remembered before she started running was fighting an affuly large pokemon, and it getting mad. At this time, Midnight did not know if the pokemon was still chasing her and did not even want to look back. As soon as she saw a tree she jump up through the branches until she was unable to be seen. From behind her she felt the warm breath of another pokemon.

"HIYA!" a charmander said from behind her. He grinned. "Looks like you made my brother mad," he said with a laugh. "Don't worry, I make him mad all the time. Hey, come with me," he said, walking off. He turned and waited for her.

"O....K....," Midnight said uneasily. She then followed the charmander. "Uh. Um," Midnight stumbled out. "Could you maybe tell me where I am and who you are and how I maybe got here?" She then cut a berry from a branch and took a bite.
((I do REALLY want to do this thread. I was just waiting for someone to join!))

Midnight rolled her eyes. She already knew that she had ran, but she did not understand how she got from a thick rain forest to and open meadow. Midnight sighed, "Thanks. But you still did not answer my second question. Who are you?" This little guy was like a dictionary or an enciclopidia or what every kind of resource that tells you every thing that you want to know.

"Midnight's the name and wandering about is my game," Midnight said with a wink. She then took the last bite out of her berry and threw the remainders away. Midnight then asked, "Sooo Blaze where are we going?"

Blaze grinned. "My secret hide out," he said simply. They walked up to a hole in the ground and he jumped in.

"Cool!" Midnight exclaimed. She then jumped down the tunnel right after Blaze did. I did not know that there could be any secret hidouts in this place, she thought to herself.

Blaze walked for a bit, then came to a cave underground. "This is it! It's got berries, a little water hole, and lotsa room. Make yourself at home," he told her with a huge smile.

As soon as Midnight entered the hideout, her mouth dropped open. "Whoa! Did you design this place?" Midnight questioned in wonderment. Then the water hole caught her eye. All this time she had forgotten how thristy she was. So she half ran half stumbled over to the water and took some nice long sips.

Blaze laughed, keeping his tail as far away from the water as he possibly could. "Glad you like it. When my brother and I were little, we built it," he told her.

As soon as Midnight had finished her long drink, she wiped her mouth with her paw and rushed over to grab a berry to eat. While she ate she said, "Hey do you want to be friends?"

"Well it is kinda hard to explain," Midnight said scratching the back of her head. "Friends are pokemon that stick up for each other, and will always be there for each other. A good friend is someone who will never let you down and will be there for you through and through. Best friends are very close and will never be mean to each other unless there is something to fight about between the friends." She then sighed and continued saying, "As I said it is very hard to explain. But over time you will understand." Midnight then grabbed another berry and started to eat it.

Midnight smiled in happiness. She always wanted a best friend that was so excited and energetic about being friends. "Well that settles it!" Midnight exclaimed. "We will now be there for each other no matter what happens!" Midnight then peeled a berry with her claws and threw the shavings into the air. She then tossed the peeled berry to Blaze.

He smiled and ate it. "Hey, Midnight, I was wondering. What exactly are you? I've never seen a pokemon like you before. I've only seen charmander and everyone in that family," he said.

Midnight smiled. She was glad that she had a friend that would understand her differances. "So how about I make myself a bed because I am extremely tired after running for my life from your brother," she exclaimed after a long period of silence. she then collected some moss that was hanging around the hide out. When she had enough, she spread it out on the floor to make a bed.

"Yeah well, I'd better get back up too. I bet my mom's worried. Oh, don't worry, my brother's too big to get down here, and I'm the only charmander in the family," ((Meaning pack or whatever you would call it with a charmander.)) he assured her. "Good night," he said and crawled up the hole.

"Good night...," Midnight replied dosing off. Within seconds she had fallen into a deep, deep sleep. During the night she woke up numerous times which was normal for a sneasel. When she woke up the 4th time she got out of bed and went to grab a berry to eat. After finishing the berry she went back to sleep.

Midnight woke up to see Blaze sitting right next to her. "Hey Blaze," Midnight said. "I was wondering if you wanted to go on an adventure with me. Like the kind of adventure that I have been experiancing. The kind of adventure where we travel around Erymire and meet new friends to help us along the way. Do you want to do that?" While she was saying that she was washing her face and drinking water from the water hole.

Blaze grinned, but it faded. "I'd love too, but I'd hate for my family to worry..." he started, then something occured to him. "Yeah! I wanna go! We can make some new friends too! Then, I can come back and explain to my family and visit!" he said happily.

"Then off we go to explore this world!" Midnight exclaimed. She then marched to the exit. "After you," she said politely. After Blaze had started up the tunnel Midnight followed after him. As soon as she got outside Midnight's ears twitched. And without waring she killed a rattata with on swift scratch. She then started to eat the Rattata's flesh.

Blaze stared. "Ooookay..." he said. Being in a big family, his food was brought to him and he never had to hunt, and didn't understand the concept.
