A beautiful day

[Celadon]

A silvery shape skittered close to the water, sniffing the air for signs of possible danger. The buizel had heard the waterfalls and had come to check them out - the presence of falls meant the presence of a lake or river, and that meant possible food for him. While he wasn't starving, it had been a little while since he'd had any sort of large meal, and the thought of fish drew him ever closer.

Maybe he could find a nice, juicy feebas, or even a corphish or two...yeah, things like those would definitely hit the spot.

Even over the smell of water, he could still make out the scents of some other pokemon. It smelled of long-tails (in fact, he saw a strange one over at another part of the pool) and another buizel, and possibly an eevee. He stopped at the edge of the water, unsure if this pool belonged to any of the other pokemon around here.

Kiko finsihed his Goldeen and licked his fingers clean, Delicious! he exclaimed, threading water again. He dipped his head in the water and took a nice drink. He sighed, falling abck onto his back.He placed his hands behind his head and looked up and the sky. He liked his new home.

[Ziskara]

Kiki laughed, then glimpsed something in the water. Next moment it was gone. "Hey, did anyone just see something in the water? It was shiny..." She asked, curious.

Kiko poped up from his day dreaming state and looked at Kiki. he then glanced acorss the water's surface. Slowly he shook his head side to side. No, I didn't see anything, he shrugged, paddling towards the Eevees. he smiled, I'm kiko! he greeted, hoping they'd have a conversation with him/

[wynnyelle]

"Kiki and Kiko, eh?" said Ralla, who had woken up from her rather long nap and sauntered over towards the conversation. " That's amusing."

[Celadon]

It didn't appear as though any other pokemon here minded his presence...or even noticed him, for that matter. Either way, the buizel took that as a fair sign and slid into the water with a small splash and a v-shaped ripple behind him.

Ah, to feel cool water such as this again! It almost made him want to jump and splash around. Almost.

[-Legendary-]

That is quite amusing! he giggled looking at Ralla. He ahd heard all about her delema and was quite worried. After all, she was his friend, How are you doing Ralla? he asked sympothetically. He hoped onto the land and shook the water from his tail. He plopped down upon his butt and looked from the Eevees to Ralla.

[Ziskara]

"Heh. Yay." Kiki smiled. "How are you Ralla? I haven't seen you in a while, we were off hunting..."

[wynnyelle]

"Another buizel...I just saw another..." Ralla looked at the ripples left by the silver buizel. " Speedy? He a relative of yours?"

Was Speedy still asleep? Hmmm. All that mating must've tired the poor guy out.

Kiko glance dto where ralla was looking. Why, it was another Buizel. He squinted to make sure he was seeing rihgt. He then glanc d at the sleeping Buizel, Speedy.

[Little John]

"Whoa you sure?" Bubbles tried to see as far as they did.

[wynnyelle]

" I'm pretty sure that was a buizel, just an oddly coloured one," said Ralla. She didn't think it was too remarkable, though. This pool was obviously full of them.

[Celadon]

The buizel glanced up and noticed that several of the pokemon seemed to be looking at him.He wouldn't have stopped, except that he noticed that one of the ones looking at him appeared to be a totodile. He floated in place for a moment, wondering if the reptile was looking at him out of curiosity or out of hunger.

"Erm, hello," he finally said to them. "Is this your pool? If it is, I'm sorry for disturbing it, then"

[Little John]

"What color was it?" asked Bubbles again full with questions.

[wynnyelle]

" Silver," said Ralla, to answer Bubbles' question. " And you can share the pool. My mate is asleep right now, he's a buizel, too. And...this is Puncher, my... other mate." Ralla felt a little embarrassed over this, but it was of her own doing.

The oddly coloured furret nodded his head to new buizel. " Good to meet you, I'm Puncher. "

Kiko noticed the stranger looking at him. He greeted it with a wide open smile. It may have seemed threatening, the large fangs glistening in the after noon sun, but this totodile was harmless. He was just really friendly and would never hurt a friend. Hiya! he chirped, I'm Kiko, the Totodile. At the moment, and hopefully forever, this is no one's pool. it's jsut a firendly and public pool. I live up there if you need me! I'm allways willing to talk! he grinned pointing above the smaller waterfall, again. And this was true. Kiko was ALLWAYS willing and wanting to talk with friends.

[Little John]

'Hi Kiko, when did you get here? Did you see me get attacked by Lairon?" Bubbles had met up with her talkative friend again.

[Celadon]

"Threatening" was indeed the correct word. The buizel shied away backwards at the sight of the totodile's large teeth. His paw automatically went to the shell necklace around his neck, as it often did when he got suddenly worried. Where he came from, the open jaws of a reptile didn't mean a grin, it meant you were about to become a snack. However, once the totodile spoke, he seemed to relax - slightly.

"I see..." he said. "Sorry if I seem tense, it's just that I've had some rough encounters before, and I've found that it's better to be safe than sorry. No offense meant to you. I'm sure you're a nice pokemon...that all of you are, in fact."

His whiskers twitched. "Pleasure to meet you all. You may call me Swiftpaw."

[Little John]

"And you may call me Bubbles. Soem people say I talk a lot, but I don't know why." bubbles started up again.

[-Legendary-]

You got attacked?!?! Kiko shreiked, eye widening to bubbles. he threw his arms around her. Thank god your ok! Sorry I wasn't there! he said in the normal and firendly way. He would have stuck up for his firend. He does anything for his friends. he pulle daway form bubbles and glanced back and Swiftfoot. Nice to meet ya! he smiled rocking back and forth.

[Little John]

'Yeah these Lairons grouped up on me while I was talking about soap operas. I mean come on! Who doesn't like Soap Operas?" Bubbles looked at all her friends.

[-Legendary-]

Bubbles, no one knows what a soap oprah is! he sighed. this pokemon as allways talking about strange things no one else knew about. She was smart and knew alot more then he did.

[Little John]

'yeah, but then Puncher came along and saved me. If I didn't say it before, thanks Puncher!!" Bubbles was not all that smart herself. She had only lived with humans.

[wynnyelle]

ooc: Legendary, you must put dialogue in quotation marks, please.

ic: " You're welcome," said Puncher. " It was the least I could do. Just don't go taunting any more lairons." He laughed, a little nervously.

Puncher? He lganced to who Bubbles was talking to. He smiled and waved to Puncher, he hadn't met him yet. he smield at the odd colored Furret. Hiya! If you ahvent caught on yet, I'm Kiko, he said, yet again, to yet another stranger. I like you coloring, he commented. He then looked at Ralla. So Puncher was her other mate. It'll be easy to tel whos kids are whos. If their Puncher's they'd obivously be colored weird and if they're Speedy's then they'll be half Bluizel.

[Little John]

"But I didn't!" Bubbles whined. "I only talked to them just like I talked to you! You didn't go attacking me! We should go teach them some manners!"

[wynnyelle]

ic: " You have no idea how many of them there are, and if you go back in there, those lairons will outnumber you," said Puncher. " What little I know about lairons and their species is that they are cold and aggressive. They'll attack you if you get into their territory."

[Little John]

"Yeah, but if you guys come with me we could outnumber them!!" Bubbles looked at her friends hopefully.

Kiko looked back to Bubbles and put an arm around her, "Aww, I'm sorry, but puncher is right. they are to powerful and there is more then one. We would stand a chance, but not a very good one," he said, trying to comfort Bubbles.

[Celadon]

"...You have iron-shells around here?" Swiftpaw was surprised that he hadn't smelled any of them, as they had a rather distinctive metal scent, but he guessed his nose had been so full of water-scent that he just wasn't able to detect them. "Definitely take his advice," he waved a paw at Puncher. "You'd have no chance against them if there's more than one of them."
