Introductions are a must, I suppose..
My name is Aurel, but you can call me anything you wish to get my attention that is within line of reason.
I am a 21 year old, full-time college student, currently a Junior, and enjoy the usual things a young adult of my age would find pleasure in; music, books, writing, and chatting. I was a bit of an artist at some point, doing pleasant scratchings (defined as rough sketches) for people from an anthropomorphic viewpoint. If all goes well, I may take up the pencil and try my luck with it again but I tend to get busy.
Favorite mediums include graphite, charcoal, and colored pencil. I would provide samples, but they are all at least one full year old -- which would not gauge my talent properly at all. Harbored plans for a hybrid character could break my muse out from imprisonment, so here's to hoping.
I've participated in online RPGs for well close to seven years, so pardon my approaches in threads if they seem too aristocratically professional or whatnot. I'm no expert, but I do hold knowledge of how to write a lengthy post worthy of proper reading. I'm glad to see this discussion board is well populated and bustling; but let's not hope it's too busy for me.

I do sincerely hope you like it here Aurel. I hope you don't acsendicate if I ask what your name means. Aurel is the German, Romanian, Czech, and Slovak form of Aurelius; a Roman family name which was derived from Latin aureus "golden, gilded". Marcus Aurelius was a Roman emperor and philosophical writer. This was also the name of several early saints.
I think I will like it here. If I commit time to a signature, good profile, and introduction -- I'm practically sold. The last discussion board I was a part of died before I could be inducted as a functioning Moderator, which was a real upsetting blow to me. I cared about the RPG's plot line so much and offered to write a novella for the site, but (again) it died on everybody because the Administrator's life butted in the way. That's where I got the name 'Aurel' from. It was a Roman/Greek discussion board and one of my prized characters names was Aurel Maurus Silvanus IX.
-sigh-
Good times, good times..

I am rarely a mod in any of the sites i am in, but where I do gain that title, nobody complains. I must say that I am quite associated with dead threads, since I am always the last one to leave, yet I never really do. I am glad your name has at least some meaning as well. It is rather frigtening how many don't know the meaning of their names. I hope you don't end up writing a novella here, because that would be just silly.
Glad to meet you. If you don't know who I am, just call me Sephalesh, because that be my screen name, and I have been RPing for around three months.

I hope you don't end up writing a novella here, because that would be just silly. There will be no novella writing for this discussion board. I only offer to do that if the plot line strikes me as significantly stimulating, and if I have the time between the other novella/novel I am writing for my own interests. Not to say I don't find Erymire interesting; I just see no significance in writing for it. The broad spectrum of posting by members keeps it alive just fine to have no need of subtle details like a written novella or comic pages.
Glad to meet you. If you don't know who I am, just call me Sephalesh, because that be my screen name, and I have been RPing for around three months. I must dare say, it's a pleasure to meet you then, Sephalesh. It's always pleasing to encounter people who are as articulate as they are honest in their ways. Perhaps we can role-play some time; I'm interested to gauge your skill levels in writing.

Thanks, a heartwarming compliment always will warm the soul. Just a warning, though, "Flatter me once and happy me, Flatter me twice and happy you." It may not make much sense, but it serves its purposes from time to time.
Considering notes of plot, I will most likely bring a lot to the table. I always beleive in a good plot, and if I don't end up in one, I always end up making my own lovable one. You may not love it, but I will. Besides plots, I am also writing my own novels (yes plural) and I hope that you will have as good of luck as I have had.

Flattery is all right so long as you don't inhale. -- Adlai Stevenson
“Flattery is like cologne water, to be smelt of, not swallowed” -- Josh Billings
Besides plots, I am also writing my own novels (yes plural) and I hope that you will have as good of luck as I have had. Novels?
Well good for you! I can only handle one myself as I edit a friend of mines and attend college. Here's to us both finishing, though you are most likely to do so than I -- work swamps me too often to complete a page nowadays. From one author to another, I wish you well on your journey to success.
