All in the berries, All for the ladies

Sapphiron was a Lucario/Mightyena mix breed. The blue Lucario shaped hybird moved across the Berry Groves, today was his berry picking day. Sense summer had came he noticed a lot of berries had came into season. This made him hungry for a course of diet change. Gotta stay in top shape If I want to be mating material he thought as he walked on all fours across the groves. The trees danced in the wind, and then...a bunch of scents clouded the hybirds nose. "The sweet scent of berries." Sapphiron raced to a tree and gobbled up the berres hanging out of it. The berries were Pecha Berries. Sapphiron had loved Pecha Berries the most out of all berries, not just for the taste. He loved them for what they could do to help a Pokemon in need, they healed poisoning and that really impressed Sapphiron in a mid night snack. Another thing was the smell of Pecha Berries, Sapphiron loved how they smelt, to him they smelled like roses and a fresh spring morning by a creek. And of course there was the taste of th berries as well.

After having his snack Sapphiron moved across the groves. He knew he would have to gather berries for later as well. He couldn't afford to come out to the groves everyday and the Lucario/Mightyena hybird knew that other Pokemn loved berries more than he did, and if they got ahold of them it would provoke Sapphiron to fight, knowing how much he wanted al the berries he could find. After collecting enough berries he went to the little den he made inside the groves, of course it was too be his home for a short time, knowing he would was only going to be there wbile all the good berries had been in season. Also it was summer time, and Sapphiron had been looking for a mate as well.

"Oh wow, just look at all of these berries!" Reen mewed out happily as she entered the small grove that had berries all over the place. The Mewoth licked her lips as she thought about all the things she could eat in just this little place alone!

Reen chuckled to herself and happily skuipped along the berry producing bushes. She took her time deciding which berries she should eat first. There were just so many to choose from! Plus there didn't seem to be any praditors around so she could afford not being quick. This suited her just fine.

The Mewoth sniffed around the grove and her nose bumbed agaisnt a strange red berry with soft spiks on it. Reen lift her head and tilted it at the strange berry. She then lowered her head and took a quick lick. Hmm...it didn't seem to taste bad. Reen opened her mouth wide and ate the whole berry in one gulp.

Huge, big mistake. Too late, Reen's body went stiff as her eyes began to water. Heat seemed to roll off in waves from her stomache to the rest of her body. The Mewoth let out a scream and ran in a random direction, hoping to Mew that there would soon be water.

[Steven]

Sapphiron was still relaxing in his den eating berries peacefully, as well focusing on finding himslef a mate. The Lucario/Mightyena hybird lifted his head up to hear screams. He crawled out of his den and looked to see a Meowth. Sapphiron sniffed her scent and he gasped *~Its a female.~* he thought. He sprinted twords the Meowth he saw. Glancing around *~Don't see any predators...~* he thought. He glanced around again and saw a red spikey *~Thats it...those berries cannot be eating~* Sapphiron took a few steps to Reen deciding to ask her what was the problem. "Ugh...ma'm if you can speak can you tell me what is wrong so I can help you?" he asked.

Reen turned to see the strange Lucario/Mightyena hybrid and started gasping at him, trying to form words. After a bit she was finally managed to croke out "Water! Water!"
Really, that was all she wanted at that moment. She would had given just about anything for even a few drops.

[Steven]

As soon as Reen told him what she wanted, Sapphron sprinted to get it "Alright I will get you some water." he said. He looked around for something he could carry the water in "Moss!" he yelled. Sapphiron knew that sometime you could take moss and lick water off it. He took some moss, dipped in a puddle of water and ran back to Reen. "I think this is what you wanted my lady." he said dropping the watery moss in front of her "If you lick this moss you get the water as well."

Reen didn't exactly like the idea of having to lick moss but, right at that moment, she could had really cared less. She bent her head down and began to lick up all of the water she could possibly get out of the green plant. After it was dry her tongue didn't feel nearly as hot as before. Reen took a deep breath and smiled at the strange looking hybrid.

"Thank you so much for that! I honestly don't know what I would had done if you didn't happen to walk by." She said happily.

[Steven]

Sapphiron smiled "Nah its nothing. I will do anything for the ladies." said the hybird. He twitched his blue Mightyena like ears. "By the way I am Sapphiron, it is nice to meet you I guess." He sat down and began to groom his blue fur with his tounge. The setting in the groves was getting very peaceful now that the chaos had calmed down, it was lush, full of nice berries, and sunny.

Eva slipped out of her home near the berrytree grove. She seemed to be in a very good mood today as she could smell the berries from inside her den. She hopped that she would be caught by other pokemon gathering berries because they might not like her taking berries very much.
She shook her slightly as she neared the grove. Her eyes widdend as she noticed that there seemed to be alot of berries around. She caught sight of a bunch of purple berries. She moved quickly over to them and ate one of the ones closer to the ground.
She regretted it almost immeidietly. It was a sour and spicy type of berry and made her gag. She spat it out impulsively and shook her head some. "Yuck," she muttered to herself sticking out her tounge in distaste.

"My name is Reen. It's very much to meet you Sapphiron." Reen said happily, moving closer to the hybrid. "So, do you ive around here? If so, do you think you can tell me what berries to you suggest one eats?"

The Mewoth lift her head and snifed. She thought she could smelled something near them but it was hard to tell with all of the berries around.

[Steven]

Sapphiron smiled "I live somewhat around here, well till fall comes anyway." he told her "Do not eat those red berries with spikes, there are very spicy...of course I think you have already experienced." he said jokingly. He took a Pecha Berry off a nearby bush and gulped it down "What you might wanna eat are: Oran, Rawst, Sitrus, and especially Pecha Berries...oh Pecha Berries are my favorite!" he said "They heal all poisonings in the body and they have a great taste." He took another Pecha Berry from the same bush and gulped it down again.

Eva soon recovered form the sour tasting berry and walked over to another bush near her. It had a bunch of Oran berries on it. With a small smile Eva began to gather some berries from the bushes. Her ears twitched as she caught scent of two other Pokemon. The scents were unfamiliar to her and she was a bit confused about who they belonged to. Eva battled her curiosity for a moment before giving in to it. She knew that she might regret finding out but her curiosity was stronger than the caution. So, she set down her berries and slipped through the bushes to wards the scents.

"You don't say? I'll have to try some soon." Reen said with a smile, then snifed the air as she smelt someone near.

She turned her head to see another female Pokemon in front of them. The poor thing seemed really nervous, as if she kind of regretted coming through the bushes. Reen smiled at the Pokemon and moved her tail contently back and forth.

"Hey there!" Reen greeted. "Who are you?"

[Steven]

Sapphiron turned his head to see Eva as well. *~Another female?~* he asked himself inside of his mind. He smiled and stepped forward "Hello dear ma'm I am Sapphiron the titan of Pecha Berries, the ruler of the groves!" he began to brag, gloat, and even tell a string of fallacys and fibs in his unesscary introduction.

Eva watched Sapphiron and Reen for a moment before deciding that they looked freindly enough and hadn't atacked her yet. "My names Eva," she said smiling slightly,' Who are you?" Her ears twitched some as a breeze brushed them. She had calmed herself down mostly but when Sapphiron said he was the titan of Pecha Berries and the ruler of the groves she had to hold back her laughter. It seemed rediculose that he could be a titan and a king but incase he was she would hold back her tounge and just let him gloat. "Nice to meet you," she said to him as she sat down.

"Well, it's very nice to meet you Eva. My name is Reen." Reen said cheerfully and also laughed as Sapphiron said he was the titan and king. "Oh ya right, Sapphiron! The day you become that is the day I turn into a Growith."

The Mewoth chuckled once more before turning to a Pecha berry and taking a bite of it. She chewed it slowly, tasting every little bit of it before shallowing. She licked her lips and then smiled.

"Wow, they do taste good!" She commented.

[Steven]

Sapphiron smiled "Yup they do, pratically any berry taste great. Besides the Tomato Berries." He said "I am pretty sure those were the red spiky berries you ate earlier." He said to Reen. He turned to another bush and grabbed a Sitrus Berry and gulped it down. "Ayah, tastes like heaven." Sapphiron said stuttering a bit, the Lucairo/Mightyena mixed then licked his lips.

Xen had evolved into a Monferno,also developing a big sense of love for females, trying to but he was also poisoned. "Hey....ladies and gentleman...Could you spare Pecha Berry...I tried to find a new home and was poisoned by a Sev-" He grasped his chest as the poison inflicted pain onto him. He also hoped the Eevee would assist him. 'This poison hurts....but my heart skip a entire beat...if I mated with our kids would be the best Chimchar/Eevee's around!' He still hadn't understood the circumstances of mating.

Eva looked at the other polemon that had appeared. He appeared to be a Monferno. When he grasped his chest after saying he was poisoned she shook her head slightly. She quickly grabbed a pecha berry from a bush near her and set it down infront of the Monferno. "Here," she said kindly. She backed away from the other pokemon and moved back to where she sat before. She quickly grabbed another pecha berry from the same bush and ate it quickly after sitting down. She watch the other pokemon calmly smiling slightly. The weren't hostile or anything, at least they seemed not to be.
