First Crusader Mission

I was thinking about having the Crusaders go on their first real mission in a few days, giving people more time to get involved if they want their characters to join in.

The mission is pretty straightforward. Storm the Fortress, free some prisoners, try to get out alive. Of course, there will be complications along the way, but you get the idea.

Also, I think it would be a good way to really get the Crusade into the game, and intoduced to the Horde.

I don't know if I need this plot approved or not. I would rather have Wynn's approval, so I know I'm not stepping out of my boundaries.

This sounds great to me. They've gathered up, now time to get them in the action! Friday might be a good time to start this since more ppl will be free to post to it over the weekend, if you want to wait a few days before starting it anyway.

Crusaders! We are preparing for our first move against the Horde.

Our forces are considerably outnumbered, so we're not just gonna charge in and storm the Fortress. We just don't have that kind of power right now. Instead, we'll have to come up with a strategy, and here are a few that I thought up.

*Crusaders capture a few Horde members (either PC's or NPC's), and force them to lead them down into the dungeons under the guise of 'a fresh group of greenies'.

*Crusaders have several agents (PC"s or NPC's) within the Horde's ranks. On the night of the attack, these agents rendez-vous with the Crusaders on the outside, and lead them into the dungeons, also under the guise of a group of greenies.

Which of these, if either of them, sound possible?

If anyone has questions, comments, or suggestions please, do tell. I'm open to ideas/criticism.

I think in the first one we may have a problem, like a Horde member could raise the alarm? The second sounds alot easier, but we'd need to find someone willing to do that.

I agree with you there. The second plan sounds like the one.

As for the agents, they can just be NPC's.

Unless, of course, someone wants to play one, in which case they should speak up soon.

If you need a back stabbing horde member, you should get Mooncarock. He really doesn't owe any loyalty to the horde, but he doesn't come without a price.

Yes, he be one of my characters, and could be free at any moment, if yo needed him.

Oooh, I have an idea.

Maybe he could be a double agent, and give the Crusaders all kinds of juicy info on the Horde.

He does things only for his own purposes, but he can be a double agent. Just don't expect him to be doing just for the sake of goodness.
