Lavender perked up at hearing the meeting adjourned. She stretched, rubbing her beak at an itch in her pale lavender flight feathers. Suddenly bobbing up her head, she remembered a question she had thought of during the mighty Warbeak's speech. She flew foreward and stopped about 5 feet from the General. "Um, General Warbeak, sir?" she chirped, wings flapping to keep her aloft, "I just have a quick question... If we are to attack on the New Moon, when will we meet before if we are gonna plan 'n prepare?"

((I knew I forgot to mention something in my posts. >.>))

"You raise a valid question, sister." Warbeak, with a nod. He cleared his throat and addressed the crowd once again. "Meet back here exactly one week from now, and you will be assigned a role, to carry out during the actual mission. One week before the mission, we will be performing several practice exercises. I expect all of you to be present at these meetings." Once he was certain that everyone had understood, he dismissed them.

Turning to his Captains, Warbeak bowed deeply. "Now, what was it you wanted to speak to me about, Captain Moondancer?"

(Putty is a boy) Putty cheered happyily on hearing that he was able to join the crusade "I won't let you down"

Max smiled. Well that ends today's meeting He thought as he let out a small yawn. He gazed outside and yawned again. He wondered if he should go to sleep. The Jolteon sighed, it was a bit to early for him to be napping. Plus he had lots of training to do for the mission, and he had may other things to do in the meantime. If he ended up dying in the mission he would have to make sure he have lived life to the fullest, also he would like to go and find members for the Crusade. Max slowly rose to his feet, let out another yawn. Ruffling his fur he streched preparing to head on out.

Rhme turned to Warbeak and said quickly, "Sir, I am taking my leave, as I must meet up with someone I think my join us." Bowing her head slightly, she lept from rock to rock downward to the ground floor, where she waited for a moment for the little purple bird before dasing out with Lavender behind her.

"Oh! Thank you, sir!" Lavender chirped, flying out to meet Rhyme before leaving the caves.

[Starrunner]

"I have a friend that lives not to far from here and I wish to see her and ask her to join. Could I be spared for a day to go and get her?" moondancer asked, looking her leader kindly in the eyes.

[Pidgey]

Warbeak nodded to Rhyme as she took her leave, then turned his attention back to Moondancer. "Yes, yes of course. Bring your friend along, Captain. The Crusade will be one stronger." He replied.

[Starrunner]

"Thank you sir." she said bowing and taking her leave.

[Pidgey]

***Time Skip***
(To the night of the practice rescues.)

Perched on a jagged rock, and looking very official, Warbeak waits on the arrival of his Captains. Tonight, they will be preparing the Crusaders for their first real mission.

[Omega]

Captain Avion, the flygon, swooped in and landed below Warbeak, awaiting orders.

[Starrunner]

Moondancer dashed into the clearing, and ran to warbeak. "She will come soon."

Lavendeer, now a formidable Pidgeot, flew in urgently. "Sir, General Warbeak, Sir! Captain Rhyme can't make this, she sends her appologies, sir! She ehm.... may..." her voice trailed off, "She may, but we're not sure... be having kits in the near future..."

[Steven]

Max walked into the headquaters slowly. He was tremebling from excitment, but still he was slightly fearful wondering how today was going to turn out. The Jolteon sat down near the entrance waiting for everybody eles to arrive and for things to progress.

[Pidgey]

Warbeak nodded to Moondancer. "Very good." He said. He then turned to the Pidgeot who had addressed him, Lavender was her name. She had been a tiny Pidgey when first she had joined, and Warbeak was pleased to see that she had been training. In fact, everyone had been training hard, and he was confident that the mission would go over well. Confident, but not stupid. That was why he insisted on a few practice runs before the real thing was to take place. "I see. Thank you for informing me, Lavender." He replied.

((OOC - Okay, how about we just skip the practice [pretend it happened] and start the mission already, before this plot stalls.))

Lavender nodded as she flew to the rock she had sat on as a Pidgey for the first rally. She was waiting for orders about her role in the Crusade's attack.

Moondancer settled beside the general, waiting for orders.

(ooc: sorry I'm so late on joining in, I hope I'm not too late, I just heard about this...)

A Sphinx strutted proudly into the Crusader HQ. He approached the one who was obviously in command, the Staraptor named Warbeak.

Photmane spoke confidently, "I have heard about your cause from many across Erymire. I've spent all of my days trying to defend those in need of help. I humbly request you allow me to join you, sir, as I will devote my very life to see that you are victorious in your struggle."

[Pidgey]

((It's all good, Lonewolf. )

Turning to acknowledge the new arrival, Warbeak was impressed by the Pokemon's confidence. He seemed to have the right attitude, and that was half the battle. "You should be proud, for showing such commitment to something greater than yourself." He commended. "And we would be proud to have you fighting by our side."

Clearing his throat to speak, Warbeak addressed the crowd of members. "Tonight, we will be putting all of our hard training and careful planning into action." He began, making sure he had everyone's attention.

[Pidgey]

Warbeak addresses the crowd. "Crusaders! We are preparing for our first move against the Horde.

Our forces are considerably outnumbered, so we're not just gonna charge in and storm the Fortress. We just don't have that kind of power right now. Instead, we'll have to come up with a strategy, and here is what we're going to do.

We have several agents within the Horde's ranks. Tonight, we will rendez-vous with them, and they will lead us into the dungeons, under the guise of a group of greenies."

Lavender nodded. But who would the 'greenie' group be? The whole Crusade couldn't go in at once... Knowing me... she thought, I'd probably do something stupid... I hope there is something else I can do.... and that Rhyme will hurry back...

Photmane looked at Warbeak in admiration and listened intently to what he had to say...

Max sat calmy planted on the floor of the cave. He was slightly afarid at the moment, the first mission aganist the Horde staring him in the face. He had to show bravery and the Jolteon perked his ears up as General Warbeak began to speak so he could sink in his words. As he listened he was soon put at ease when he found out that they wouldn't be barging into the Fortress but instead slipping into the dungeons pratically. Letting out a sigh he continued to wait incase of any orders.
