Character's name: Perri
Species: Plusle
Age{in actual years or in general life phases}: 1 year old
Sex: Female
Description:
Perri is a shiny plusle; with dark yellow fur along much of her body, which darkens to a deep crimson red on her ears, cheeks, forepaws and tail. Additionally, her fur often shines when the light hits it, which makes it very difficult for her to hide from those who hunt her, and also from those whom she would hunt (many rodents are omnivores). Her fur is often disheveled-looking from spending so much time in hiding, and she is small and very scrawny for her age, indicators of how difficult it has been for her to survive through her first year. Her right forepaw was broken when she was a few months old, and it never healed properly, giving her a bit of a limp that keeps her from running as fast as she could otherwise. Her eyes are a sort of blueish-green in color, and her claws are a little bit longer than average, due to how much time she spends simply staying still.
Personality:
Perri is a very shy and reserved pokemon, wary and not quick to trust others. Having spent much of her life in isolation, she is used to solitude and is often not sure how she should act in certain situations with other pokemon. She does not like to battle (being both continually undernourished and a plusle, a species that has trouble fighting without a minun partner) and would much rather avoid conflict. She seldom speaks due to her solitude, and when she does, she tends to say little. Although she spends so much time alone, she desperately wants a mate (a strong urge for any year old rodent!) and friends she can associate with, and who won't shove her aside or force her to leave because she is a "predator-attracting liability."
History:
Perri was kicked out of her mother's nest and into the wide world at a few months old, along with the rest of her litter. Right away, her coloration started causing trouble - predators started to attack her, and one, a vulpix who seized her up by the foreleg, almost ended her life before she could even begin to really live it. Forced to adopt an unnatural nocturnal living habit due to her fur, Perri ventures out only long enough to find a berry or nut or egg, or other bit of food, and rush right back to her nest where she spends the rest of the day cowering. As her urges for finding a mate increase with the coming of springtime, however, Perri starts aching for something more - someone, or someones, who will like her, want her around, and perhaps provide her with the mate she craves...
