Plant Name: Weracarn
Plant Type{Tree, bush, vine, grass, etc?}: Vine
Reproductive Method{seeds, budding, etc}: Seeding (parasite)
{For plants that produce fruits{berries}}~
Size/Colour/Shape/Taste of fruits: The Weracarn fruits are of medium side and are a dull brown in color, and striped red and yellow. They're round, taut (like a balloon) and the slightest touch will rupture the fruit. If you manage to consume one (and remove the seeds first, if it is ripe), you'll find that it's quite sour and bitter, like a bad lemon. Ironically, they're considered very good at healing open wounds when dried.
However, if you're lucky enough to find a young fruit, you'll find that it tastes pleasantly sour.
Habitat of plant: Dense rainforest; the Weracarn needs large trees to climb up and creatures to plant their 'spawn' on. However, a few can be found in the Far Reaches, though very rare.
How common is this plant?: Uncommon, considering their parasitic nature; in the Far Reaches, they are very rare.
Note: The Weracarn as a very interesting way of reproduction: they have seeds in their fruit, sure. But if you barely touch it when its at its peak of ripeness, the fruit will "explode" and release thousands of tiny dull brown/red seeds. If a fertile seed gets into an open wound, or worse, your mouth, it will plant itself inside and act very similar to a leech seed. The Weracarn sapling will grow quickly, weakening you in about five days and completely covering you after twenty. It's not a pretty way to die, covered in roots while your body is slowly becoming fertilizer.
