Faded

[Ren]

Luna walked into the dungeons, memories flooding her head. She kept glancing back to make sure the squirtle was still there. She gave a nervous laugh. "I was here only a couple days ago," she told Hydro, wether he paid attention or not.

Hydro just sighed and kept following Luna.

[Ren]

Luna glanced back. "You're a lively one, aren't you?" she mumbled. She copied his sigh, walking towards one cell. "Home sweet home," she stated gloomily. She immidiatly brightened up and turned to the squirtle again. "Make the best out of a bad situation!" she advised.

Hydro sighed again,he didnt care what happened to him.

[Ren]

Luna seemed angered. "Just get in," she stated coldly, opening a cell with her foot.

Hydro walked in the cell and sat down.

[Ren]

Slamming the cell door shut, Luna turned to walk away. SHe glanced back at Hydro. "H-hey..." she started, turning around. "You didn't happen to meet an Espeon before you came here, did you?" she asked quietly, almost afraid to ask.

" No,why?" Hydro asked.

[Ren]

Luna gave a sad sigh. She looked up with a smile that was just as sad. "My older brother...I was just wondering if he were alive...and if he was still mad at me..." she answered. She immediatly shook her head and straightened up, angry at herself for showing any sign of weakness. No one else knew about her brother, the Shadowlord excluded.

Hydro stared at the floor. "Why would he be mad at you?" He said sadly.

Deathcloud raised her battered head. Blood stained the side of it, and part of her forehead where the glameow had slammed it into the bars. Her whole head still felt like it was throbbing, but the pain had lessened a little, replaced by tenderness. She hadn't even fainted. So much for being able to just slip into a coma and die. "Curse me...curse me."

Tears ran from her eyes. Why couldn't anything in her life--even her death--go the way she wanted?

[Ren]

Luna looked down sadly. "Long story short: We had gotten into a fight and I ran away," she answered.

Her head lifted when she heard another voice. She looked over towards Deathcloud and her heart immediatly went to the poor pokemon. Walking to the glameow's cell, she sat down. "Are you ok?" she asked. It didn't hit her until much later, when she was much older, how this was very un-horde-like. But right now, she felt compassion for this cat pokemon. Giving her a smile, Luna asked, "Is there something I can get or do for you?"

The glameow didn't bother to move her head. She just spoke, with the captain's spit still drying on her back and her cheek pressed against the cold clammy stone of the floor. "Yes. Kill me."

[Ren]

Luna blinked, a conflict going on in her head. Half of her told her to put the poor pokemon out of her missery, but the other half told her it was wrong.

ooc: lol, no. I'd like to keep her alive. But thanks for asking!

ic: The glameow looked up at Luna, only her eyeballs moving. In her present position, only one eye could see her though. The other one was pressed against the floor. She won't do it. She's a Horde member...she'll stand there watching me suffer and enjoy every second of it.

[Ren]

Luna sighed, the side that told her not to had won. She looked back at the glameow sadly, a caring smile coming to her face. "Why don't I get you something to eat, ok? Does that sound good?" she tried again.

"Yeah," grunted the glameow, after a long, long pause. She couldn't help it. She was hungry. and since she obviously wasn't capable of killing herself, she might as well eat. She had to wonder though why Luna was being so nice. Was it because she wanted Deathcloud in good enough shape to bear litter after litter of unwanted kittens?

Hydro fell asleep a few miniutes after Luna strated talking to the glameow.

A strapping young buizel came strutting down into the dungeons. He was looking for a good female or two to force. He stopped by Deathcloud's cell, she looked good--like she was a recent addition, not emaciated and listless like the ones that had been down here too long without attention. Snickering, he opened her cell and walked in. "Obey me and I will make it less painful."

[Ren]

Luna blinked, seriously confused. "When did you...where did you...why didn't I...?" she trailed off, looking around. She could swear she didn't hear anyone near by. The buisel just walked up. "Can I help you?" she demanded, annoyed that he just waltzed right in. She didn't understand what he could possibly be doing down here anyway.

((Ah, ignorance is bliss. Poor kid's got a lot to learn...))

The buizel grinned wickedly at Luna while he started to hump Deathcloud, who didn't even struggle or try to stop him. "Yeah baby, I can think of a way you can help me when I finish up here."

Hydro sat there listening to what the buizel was doing.

The buizel finished up quickly and stepped out of the cell, re-locking up the latch once he had shut the door again. "I'll be back in a few moons to collect the spawn. Have a nice time."

[Ren]

Luna seemed confused and was angry because of that. But she was thankful that the buisil was leaving. She only got closer to Hydro's cell. "Stupid over-grown snake and rat with wings..." she grumbled, sitting down. "I'd still be with the Shadowlord and wouldn't have to deal with this..." she complained, sitting. Looking over at Hydro, she suddenly felt worried. "I have to go now. You stay safe," she said and walked out of the dungeons.

Deathcloud was still lying there, as if apathetic to everything about her life. She finally began to eat the remains of the food that had been left for her.

Hydro sighed and went back to sleep.
