Lisa looked up at the fortress,knowing that she would most likely be spotted.She didn't care if she was spotted.She sighed and sat down.

River stumbled, her paws cracked, her mouth burned. Patches of scarlet fur were missing, and the light was slowly fading from her eyes. "Come on Riv, you have to get to shelter..." She panted to herself. Her vision was blurred as the energy seeped out of her like the drops of blood from the claw marks on her face and flanks. If you thought she looked bad heh, you should see the Eletrike who took her on. She laughed weakly, her pads dragging on the ground.
Coughing as she collapsed, she saw something, more someone, sitting not far away. Curling tightly against her tail, her vanity, she hoped not to be seen,. Some rational part asked how red wouldn't be seen against the shadows, but she discarded the thought as she sank into the black abyss.
