Millions of years ago, before humans ever existed, pokemon ran wild through the lands. They were carefree, and they played their games, working hard to make homes and defend themselves and their packs from predators. But then the humans came, capturing the pokemon and training them to do as the humans commanded. Some pokemon enjoyed being with companions, others fought against the slavery.

Centuries past and there were almost no places that were completely filled with wild pokemon. But there was one place, a legendary home of pokemon where no humans had, or ever would, find. It was protected by the magic of Groudon, and its powers kept this island safe from the humans.

The humans have heard tails of this place, full of rare and wild pokemon, just ready for the capturing. Groudon has warned the existing pokemon of the humans that are coming. He has tried to intensify the protection on the island, but Groudon is getting old, and he’s becoming weaker and weaker.

Can the pokemon of the island find another protector to save the island from the humans, or are they just as doomed as the other wild pokemon on the planet?
