Veneno sent another air slash at the ivysaur.
The ivysaur fell on its back. Gashes and cuts ran down its body.
Veneno sent one last air cutter to finish it off.
The ivysaur flew back several feet. If it wasn't already dead, it would be soon from bleeding.
Veneno noticed Charna leaving. He followed behind.

Charna noticed Veneno following as well. She felt comforted by his presence. He had always been good and reliable as a defender since she'd known him.
She smelled a haze of blood. "Did you kill him?" Her voice sounded hard, cold. She wanted anyone who attacked her lamb to die.

"Good. Thanks for polishing him off," said Charna. "I--I swear, any pokemon who touch my daughter the wrong way will die." She held Inyena a little more snugly. "That ivysaur was probably one of those crazy prisoners."

"Probably," replied Veneno, "I was in the Horde a long time. Pokemon go insane in their cells. I've seen pokemon who drive themselves to the point of suicide. They don't even know what they're doing. They just start thrashing about until they injure themselves."
