Sunshine peeped, scratched the soil and pecked at the ground, snapping up a worm she found wriggling in the dirt she had turned.

"Well, I've got to get out to the clearing again," said Charna. "Not enough grass right around here. C'mon Inyena, we're going to take a little walk and get some sun." she blinked her light to signal to her lamb to come with.

Veneno had just returned from helping the prisoners. He had not seen the newborn lamb. "Whoa! That's your baby?" he asked in excitement.

"Inyena...don't do so much right now. You must be dizzy from bloodloss--you're still recovering." Charna got to all fours and nuzzled her baby. She looked up at Veneno. "Yes, this is my daughter, Inyena."

Charna knew a contented bleat when she heard one. Also her lamb's light was normal, and that took a lot of stress off the mother ewe.

She nuzzled closer and her tail light dimmed. Her little body shook.

"Inyena," said Charna. Now she was getting nervous. She had never seen a lamb go from a hundred percent to barely above zero, and then sometimes back again, in as short a timespan as her youngest daughter.

Veneno was in a trance of the beauty of a mother and her newborn daughter. However, something broke the moment. Something didn't seem right about Inyena. The green sprout caught his eye. His attention then darted to an ivysaur. In quick response, Veneno attacked with air cutter.

The ivysaur was hit square in the face and sent a blind razor leaf at them all.

A simple razor leaf wasn't no match for Veneno. He swooped down to the ivysaur whilst evading his attack and responded with an aerial ace.

ooc: Why would an ivysaur want to do that to Inyena, though? They don't even eat meat.
ic: Charna ripped the sprout off her daughter. She sent a thunderbolt out at the ivysaur. "What the hell are you doing to my daughter!" It was very strange behaviour for an ivysaur. They never attacked other species unprovoked.

Charna scooped up her lamb in her arms. Tears ran down her face as she headed away from the area. "I don't think this place is safe at all...not with you being attacked twice in such a short time. I'm going to take you away from here."

Sunshine peeped, and stuck by her mother's side.
"Good idea," said Charna. "Now I just need an idea on where I'm even going to go. But it won't be here. Not since Alcatraz brought all those new prisoners back...I bet that ivysaur was one of them. I feel bad for them but half of them are crazy after whatever happened to them in the dungeons."

Sunshine followed at the rear of the little line of chicks. For some reason, she ususally ended up there.
