Okay folks, I've had this in the pipeline for a few days now. I've seen several wild pokemon games where you're limited to only certain species of pokemon {in fact I've run a couple of those sorts of games myself in the past}. I would set up a main board for each, with a given number of sub-boards in which the same species limits would apply. This would create, in effect, a habitat-centered roleplay or a certain lifestyle-structured roleplay, such as pack life. {Dog/wolf pokemon are popular to play so I will definitely be creating a set of boards where only those species would be allowed.} Other ideas I will be trying are cold-weather environment--only certain cold-weather pokemon allowed; desert pokemon environment, herd pokemon only, and water pokemon only. If anyone has any others they'd like to see or try, just let me know!
This will not affect the current game at all. However, I will be moving the Packlands/Herdlands boards over to these new boards. Nothing will be deleted.

Since there are a truckload of water Pokemon, an undersea RP would prove to be very cool. And, they could explore the ocean or something... and find remains of lost worlds! Sweeet

Another idea is all-dragon pokemon board/boards. Charmander, dratini, magikarp, feebas, bagon, trapinch and all their evos and any other dragons in the game.

There's already a bunch of cave boards in the western mountains. I could make a separate set though.

Nah, there are enough cave baords, you're right. But the north Poleish one could be cool. It could be like tundra and some ice caps or something. There could be like Seel, Dewgong, Jynx, Lapras, Swinub, Etc. But the dragon one is a really good idea. I allready ahve two dragonish pokemon i dont know where to put  |

All right, I;ll be creating a Dragon place and a cold-climate area, it'll be very high mountains with a raised valley in it, creating a sort of mini-arctic environment ^_^

Categories so far, that I can think of:
Dog/Canine pokemon {packs can claim the various sub-boards}
Desert environment {only desert pokemon}
Tundra, Glaciers, Ice, big frozen-over lake {arctic/ice type pokemon}
Dragon valley {all flying dragon pokemon}
The Ocean {only water-bound pokemon--i.e. fish, crustaceans, shellfish and water serpents}
And maybe a sacred land where only legends can go too, once we get more legendaries in the game.
And the herdlands--only herbivorous mammals like tauros, mareep, etc.
Okay, update: I worked on the desert one tonight, I got hit on the head by inspiration so typed up a rather lengthy article on how a board for cacnea and cacturne might work. People who like this pokemon and enjoy playing ruthless and violent pokemon might enjoy this one.

Then he's probably going to like the cacnea/cacturne roleplay! I wrote up the whole factsheet for them last night. Basically they are ferocious and territorial predators who prey on just about anything they can in the desert.

Update: I have the desert boards up, although I still need to compile a complete list of desert pokemon for the main desert board. I hope to have the pack boards up or partly up by tomorrow night.

I want too build a bird flock, like with tailows, pidgeys, swablus, starly, hoothoot, wingull, spearows, and there elovles, but I dont know where dont know where too put it. I was thinking of a regoin where trees are really high up with alot flying pokemon around them,that would be cool for bird pokemon lovers.

However, humanshape pokemon already have their niches within the general pokemon populace...itd be hard to separate them out into their own subgroup. As for abandoned towns I already created boards full of ruins. ^_^

Nobodys made the bird board yet, but when it happens Alba and a Pidgeotto named Oscar that was orphaned by the Horde will live there. I will make Oscar when I need too.
