Plants that grow in deserts generally don't do well in rainforests. Everything about this is fine except you have to narrow the habitat down a little bit.

It still says "anywhere on land." "Anywhere" still means just that, anywhere. Try to think of this plant as a plant with at least some specialised characteristics that let it thrive best in a certain place.
