Oni swooped down and expertly wrapped herself around the branches of a tree in the upper canopy. This should do well as a new home. A jungle it is not, but it is close enough... I wonder if there are any other Ampiifears around? Tucking her wings in close, she slithered down the trunk to the lower canopy, where she would hopefully meet... someone.

Why for some reason, Ribbon, the azurill-midget, always finding herself around some-kind of forests? Whats even more strange was that, it was always because she 'accidentally' bothered the sparrow... As usual. The cyan colored rodent was silently strolling her way through the thick and humid forest. Luckily she had water instincts, her coat was not fit for water compared to the Marills and Azumarills. What was noticeable of this unusually short azurill, was her conspicuous yellow ribbon which hung freely on her left ear. The silk ends, however, looked extremely dirty since the azurill was constantly mopping the ground with it.

Drop
Tears slowly streamed down the baby. Where could her mother be? Had she left her?
Audible, soft sobs escaped from the pout of the youngster. Where was she?

Having moved down into the lower branches, Oni heard the sound of someone crying. She looked around and it took her a moment to find the source. She slithered down the trunk and approached the Azurill, making herself seem as small as possible, as to not frighten the creature. "Hello there, little one." She cooed, "Why the tears?"

The sound of a stealthy slide soon reached her ears. The azurill immediately started shivering, who was it? It must be an ekan or arbok! What if they'd kill her? Eat her? She was a baby, whats worse, a weakling. Tears halted their path down as an anxious expression was plastered on the blue rodent's face.
"Hello there, little one." "Why the tears?"
The marill-baby stridently shrieked. A ear-piercing scream echoed through the forest. Turning back, Ribbon saw a lengthy pokemon. Tears welled up yet again as fear struck her. The furball then exclaimed desperately.
"Please don't hurt me! I can't find my mother! Please please don't hurt me! I don't know anything."

When Oni had recovered from the scream, she replied, "No, no, no. I'm not going to hurt you. I've already eat this week and besides, your kind are not part of my diet." Curling her tail around and propping herself up, she asked, "I'm sorry if I scared you... So you've lost your mother have you? Well that was careless..." She joked, trying to ease the tension, "Would you like some help? The rainforest is not a good place for any youngling not suited for it, least of all someone like yourself."

"Y-yes, ma'am. I would like some help to find my mommy..."
The azurill squeaked. Dark azure pools that widen with great anxiety. She wanted her mother now! However, hearing the fact that this ampiifear has offered help. The azurill couldn't help but jump on her large tail and bounce happily.
"We're going to find my moooommyyy~"
The immature baby uncontrollably sang as the furball headed in front of the 'line.'

Oni blinked. There goes one bizarre little bouncy ball... She thought as she watched the Azurill bounce ahead, "I'm sorry, but I don't think I ever got your name?" She said as she caught up, "I'm Oni Yoruba, by the way."

Ruby sighed,sitting on a tree branch."Why'd she have to die?" She said sadly. Then the branch she was on broke and she fell in front of an azurill. "ouch!"
