Name of species: Far Reaches Spotted Mareep/Flaaffy/Ampharos
Elemental type{s}: Electric
Size: 5'0" on average when fully evolved, rams larger than ewes.
Method of reproduction:sexual w/live birth. Mareep are born with all their senses and able to walk and run.
Description/Appearance:Slightly taller and a little more lightly built than standard sheep pokemon, the spotted Far reaches sheep has fur instead of wool as a mareep and flaaffy. All three evolutions have the same colours and pattern. It is light sandy coloured {greyish beige}with many small seal-brown spots, some of them elongated and combining to form vertical bars along the neck. The eyes are from brown to hazel to amber, sometimes grey, and the light globes are from amber to beige.
Disposition: The spotted sheep-pokemon is cautious, being a prey species, and tends to keep to its own kind. It is highly gregarious, and the rams are quite aggressive with each other over the right to mate with the ewes. They battle by head-butting for the right to breed.
Most of the time, though, outside of the mating season {which is fall} they live a peaceful life. They use their lights to keep watch for predators approaching and to signal to each other from far away.
Habitat: Anywhere grassy, pretty much. They avoid forests, where there is little or no grass and where predators can hide while sneaking up on them. They are found throughout the southern Far Reaches. To the northern Far Reaches this species blends in with one of its close relatives, the Greater Spotted Amp, which is similar to this one but larger and heavier, among several other differences. Where their ranges overlap, they often interbreed.
What does this pokémon eat?: Grass and occasionally fruit, once in a while it will eat leaves if there is no grass around.
How common is this pokemon?: Within its range, it is quite common. Flocks of them can be found on most hills and mountain slopes.
