It's So Hot..and We're Just Visitors!

ooc: lol i included hotness xD k guys ace and co are now in the desert! woo! =D

ic: Chiller walked up to the hot desert. It was hot, but unlike the volcano that had been her home before she'd left with Ace and Pax. The lava rock colored charmander stretched. Night would come quickly. She looked around the dry sands and then glanced back at their little company. "So...this is it," she said.

Nura nodded. The buckskin ponytah swatted her black tail, knocking a few flys off her butt. Not much grass around here. She looked at Pax, wondered what the other ponytah thought of this boiling place.

[Pax]

Seeing the sheer size of the desert, Pax felt a sinking feeling in his stomach. There wasn't any grass as far as he could see. The arid air didn't bother him, but the sun's heat (at least in this place) was so different from other sources. It was like a blister all over. He wondered how the others would take it, but since no one was melting it wasn't a terrible threat, right?

[Sepheroth]

Sepheroth trudged along, his arms hanging at his sides and his eyes glazed over. His breathing came in long intakes and quick outbreaths. He heard the desert was hot from the cacnea, but this was ridiculous!

[fya]

Nura pawd the ground, searching for something eatable. The ponytah frowned when her hard hoof only dug through sand. She gave Pax an exasperated looked. "Ace?" she asked, glancing at him. "Lets hurry and find whatever we're looking for."

[Pax]

"I agree..." quivered Pax. This place was pretty, but too barren for their group. The foal wondered why they had come here, remembering that he and Nura were racing while the others talked it over. "Why are we here again?" he asked Ace.

[fya]

"I'm going to find a little meal, ok?" Chiller was feeling a bit faint from the heat and lack of food. They'd done quite a bit of traveling since she'd had breakfast. The charmander slipped away but not too far. She didn't want to get lost in the arid desert.

[Sepheroth]

"I do believe that we are chasing a dream." Sepheroth said, dryly.

[fya]

"Who knows," said Nura, though she really had to agree with Sepheroth. It was hot here and there was no food or water. Being a fire type, she didn't need much water, she got it from her food, but if there wasn't food she'd drink water. And Ace. He needed water for sure. So did Sepheroth, probably.

Chiller sucessfully found a tiny trapinch asleep on a rock. She killed it with a line of strong flames and then ate it. It had a gross crunchy taste. She walked back. "Ugg there's nothing good to eat here."

[Sepheroth]

Sepheroth had found a flowering cactus. He plucked some of the berries off of it and ate them. They were hard, spicy, and sour. "Ick...I agree." He was bashed with a needle arm right after he said that.

[Little John]

Ooc:Alba to the rescue!

Bic:"You can't find any food around here. I took it all." The voice scared the travelers and they looked to a rock where the owl was perched.

"Its him," Ace cried, realizing that this creature had been in his dream. "He was in my dream!"

[fya]

ooc: You're back! Un-grounded? *prays for yes* =D

ic: Chiller gawked at the bird. "So the dude that ate all the food is who were looking for...?" THis was a twisted, twisted world.

[Pax]

(Hey, welcome back Ace ^_^)

Startled by the owl, Pax whinnied and hid behind the bigger Ace. He had never seen such a big bird! Maybe it did eat everything. "How could you do that?" stuttered the foal in a half-whisper.

[Sepheroth]

oc: man. I was gonna bring back my cacnea but whatevs.

ic: Seph got up and glared at the owl. "Why did you hit me with a needle arm?! Huh?! Think your tuff?! 'Oh, I'm just gonna go around and hit people in the back of their heads with my needle arm. I'm so big and tough.' Well ya ain't! It don't give you any right to just attack people with no reason!" He kept going a few minutes after that, but quit due to his throat being to dry.

[Little John]

"Who said I ate the food?" the owl questioned the gang. "And who the heck says I know Needle Arm? I cant even learn Needle Arm!"

[Pax]

"But... you said you ate all the food here," Pax wondered, then looked at Sepheroth as if he were crazy.

[Little John]

"If I recall right, I said I took it all. I have it stocked up for later, why?" The Noctowl didnt excactly like this bunch.

[Pax]

"Oh... sorry sir," Pax looked down, ashamed for accusing the owl. "We were just panicking because of the... lack of food?" he blinked. "So.. who are you?"

[Little John]

"Well, my names Alba. May I have your names?" The Noctowl was ever curious about this bunch.

"Well my names Ace." Ace said, answering Alba.

[fya]

Chiller looked at Ace. "Can you hurry up and ask him about your dream cause I'm eager to leave." She ignored Seph's insane chatter and locked eyes with Alba. She wasn't taking a liking to him either.

[Sepheroth]

"Wait. You didn't hit me with that needle arm? Oh..." He looked around and did one of those 'embaressed' coughs. "My apoligies. My name is Sepheroth." He bowed his head. If he wasn't hit by a needle arm, then what was he hit with? He was certainly hit by something.

[fya]

"Are you ok Seph?" asked Nura. The ponytah filly bounced worridly on her heels and looked around the desert. "Maybe you ran into a cactus?" There were plenty around so that was possible.

[Pax]

Pax looked from a nearby cactus to Sepheroth. Didn't he try to eat it..? Wow, already it seemed that the blistering desert was messing with their heads. "I agree, we should do this quickly. I wonder what happened to make the desert so.. barren..."

[fya]

"I dunno," said Nura. "It's horrible..like its dead." The buckskin ponytah shivered and gave Pax a slightly scared look. It was warm for sure, but not a pleasant warmth. An eerie, dangerous feeling heat.

[Sepheroth]

"Well, my cacnea friend..." He was flung away again by something hitting him again. "OKAY! I KNOW SOMETHING HIT ME THAT TIME!!!" The nearby cacti moved. "Dude. You totally ate my berries." Sepheroth recognized the voice. "Dude, Sam, it's you!" He ran over to the cacnea and gave him a high five. "How ya been?" "Oh, same. The team disbanded after you left." "Why?" "Well we couldn't be the 'ABCD Team' without ya." "Oh..." He ducked his head. He didn't know that his leaving would disband the team. "Oh, Sam, this is my team. Say hi, team."

ooc: Can you please put a line when you're having others talk? I dont care if you put just one enter or two, but please do at least one. It's much easier to follow. Thanks.

ic: "Hello," said Chiller. She wasn't in a mood to greet visitors. The desert was hot and her headahced.

[Sepheroth]

ooc: sorry.

ic: "Hi." The cacnea waved his arm. "You all looke kind of tired and hot. I know a cave a little that way..." He pointed behind him. "...so you all can rest."

[fya]

Chiller glanced around, wondering wheather this was a good idea. Exit was what was going through her head. Leave. Go away. Get out of the arid heat.

[Sepheroth]

The cacnea waited for an answer. "So whatcha guys gonna choose?"

[fya]

Chiller hated making decions for a group. "What do you guys think?" she asked uneasily.

"I say go for it," nickered Nura. "We aren't getting anywhere like this."

[Sepheroth]

"Well, I choose go. It's far to hot and/or dry for any of us out here." Seph put his arm thing over his eyes to cut down on the brightness.
