Another Newby

Hey. I'm Omega. I'm not new to roleplaying, but I figured I should play it safe and ask a few questions since this is the only forum I've seen that's entirely dedicated to roleplaying.

I have a few questions...

First off, what do I do to make a new character? Is there a thread for that or am I supposed to make my own?

Next, am I allowed to just post in any thread once I have a character? Or do I have to sign up for a thread?

Lastly, does everything count as one, big RP? Or is each thread individual?

I'd appreciate a little help. And, I know I'm new here, but please go easy on me.

Hi Omega, I'm jespeon, resident newbie welcomer and answerer of questions, not to mention one of the oldest members here.

First question: You make your own thread in the 'Character Submissions' board using the form thats there.

Second question: You can post in any thread yes, unless it says a specific persons name in the title, ok?

Third question: They are pretty much all individual but theres sort of a plot that links them together. Light vs. Dark. The Light is led by Rayzor the Rayquaza (my character) and the dark is led by Chancol, the green charmeleon (burnthropes character)

Thank you for answering my questions. I have made my character.

But, about them being individual but "linked" together, does that mean I could be in one place, but then post in another and say my character "migrated" or something along the lines of that?

Sort of. You couldnt be in two places at once, you'd have to make sure you'd posted your character had left. Of course if the board had been dead for months you could move your character.
But after that you could post it where you wanted.
