The dungeons. The one area of the Fortress that could be considered the pit of hell in some eyes, while in others it could be one of the greatest, where one could relieve certain tensions, and where new members of the Horde were kept before they gave into the surrounding shadows.
Chancol grinned as he walked down the gloomy corridors that so many pokemon were held as prisoner. An Arcanine had followed him as a source of protection, even though he wasn't asked to. "Are you here to see our newest asset?" the 'canine asked, acting in a similar way that Shade had earlier.
With a nod the Shadowlord allowed the Arcanine to lead the way to the captured legendary.

Cold red eyes flashed behind the Shadowlord. Out of the shadows stepped an umbreon. But it wasnt just an umbreon. There were two large swept back horns made of pure bone on his head. Around his neck there seemed to be an average white colloar with a small skull shape where the name tag should be. However on closer inspection they too were made of bone. Along his back are more bones that look suspiciously like an innocent pokemons ribs. And finally, his tail, rather than being thick like an umbreons, it was a distinct houndoom tail, thin with an arrow head, proving that this 'umbreon' was in fact a hybrid of houndoom AND umbreon. "Master," he said simpley, bowing before the Shadowlord.

Chancol nodded at the umbreon hybrid, recognizing him as a loyal follower, remembering seeing him before the previous Shadowlord suddenly disappeared. "You can lighten up if you want to Zeelo...unless you really don't want to..." grinning, Chancol had finally cleared the final flight of stairs to the bottom level of the Fortress's Dungeon. "Now, might I ask how did we acquire this new legendary? Also, later, I require your's and Shade's assistance for...unfinished business...and I require you not to bring anyone else into this, understood?" he said, quiet enough just to be within earshot of the hybrid, he was going to stick to his secrecy about this topic. Luckily he had already dismissed the Arcanine to let the guards know that their Shadowlord was arriving, really he didn't prefer to have that kind of preparation, but it was the only way to easily get rid of the unnecessary bodyguard.
He looked up at the guards ahead: a second Arcanine, a Sceptile, a Charizard, and lastly a Blastoise. They all greeted Chancol with the same respect as Zeelo had earlier, but the charmeleon didn't tell them to stop their respectful ways, since he needed to make sure that rebellion was totally out of the picture.

Zeelo stayed in his bow until the end of the first sentence when he rose. "Thank you sir but respect is obviously lacking round here," he said, thinking of the traitor and the way some of the other Horde members acted. "Also it is an honour to serve the great Shadowlord and that in turn deserves respect." Then the hybrid listened to the next question. "The deoxys?" he said, remembering back to about a month ago. "He tryed to attack my old mistress. It was a foolish idea and he payed the price for it. Now he has been in the dungeon for long enough, he should be dark." Zeelo paused, wondering whether to bring this subject up now or later. "Thats when... when we found out about Rayzor, the rayquazza and aparant Guardian of Erymire. We have heard nothing from this legendary but he is still a threat. May I advise you to question the deoxys about him?" he said. At the Shadowlords last remark, Zeelo bowed deeply again and said "Of course master."

From not far away, someone heard conversing from his cell. Two pokemon, one spoke with authority, the other did not, but was familiar. He just couldn't remember where that voice was from, but then realized it was one of the pokemon. Those last two he had fought before coming here. His inner mind wanted to lash out, but his outer mind, the one in control, advised against it. It was loyal to these two, which nearly killed the true Deo inside. Deo looked up from the cell, looking through the bars. But from the last time he had looked, he was now different. Changed. Because somehow, he had managed to resist being shadowed for so long. What used to be his orange skin was now a dark black, what used to be green was now a grey, and his life gem on his chest was no longer purple. It was a tainted red. But none of this mattered to Deo right now. He tried moving, but his body was stiff, still pained physically and mentally from the shadowing. He knew he'd be fine soon, and was looking forward to seeing his master, the Shadowlord. But at the first thought of the Shadowlord, the inner, true, light Deo got just a bit weaker. Thrown farther into the dark. Deo just breathed deeply, waiting for his master.

Zeelo approached first. He nodded to the guards and they opened the cell door allowing him access. "Hello Deo. Long time no see. Feel any different?" he asked when he had entered. His red eyes glowed blindingly bright in the darkness, accompanied by the glowing yellow rings of the umbreon part of him. But the rest of his body was invisible in the darkness, making him look a lot more intimidating then he was normally. Zeelo turned to look at the Shadowlord and bowed to him again.

Luna walked into the dungeon, escorted by the two guards. "Lovely," she muttered after looking around. She tried to find the hybrid from before, to either talk to him or kill him for bringing her down here. She saw Deo. "What on earth...? I know good and well that a deoxys isn't supposed to be that color," she stated, mostly to herself. ~What kind of place is this!?~ she thought.

Zeelos eyes looked over at Luna. Then back at the Shadowlord. He rose from his bow before speaking. "We have an intruder, master. I thought you would rather deal with her," he said.

Deo heard Zeelo, looking up at him. He hadn't thought they were this close. "Yes, I actually do feel different. Better than I ever have before, it feels amazing!" Deo exclaimed, using Recover to heal the soreness of his body. Even seeing Zeelo, Deo wasn't nervous in the least. "By the PokeGods...what happened Zeelo? My memory is fuzzy."

Luna let out a sigh. ~Oh yeah, I was right. Something bad's about to happen.~ she thought. She backed up slightly, and copied Zeelo's bow, as if that would lighten things a bit. "Truth be told, I really didn't mean to intrude," she said as politely as she could in this situation.

Chancol sighed, looking at the intruder as he had finally arrived at Deo's cell. Not bothering to look at the new captive, "You, welcome to the dungeons of the Fortress. You are going to stay in our home-base whether you like it or not. You can join us one of two ways: One, you can join us quietly and start training immediately and swear your allegiance to us...or, you will be forced to stay here until your body and mind has been influenced by the shadows that encompass this area. Either way...you will become shadow, it's just your decision on how you will become one of us," he warned, being in the pit of the Fortress was a guaranteed 'no escape' situation.
Looking up at the Deoxys "Ah, so you've met Zeelo before? Let me make your acquaintance. I'm the new Shadowlord, Chancol. How long have you been here?" he wanted to gather more information on how long it takes to shadow certain pokemon. He had never seen a Deoxys, and to be truthful it looked pretty impressive.

Given those choices, Luna probably would've wanted to fight back and would've made it hard for them. But she smiled as a new thought came to her mind. "Yes, honorable Shadowlord. You have my allegiance," she told him. She really ment it. He had gained her respect. But she also wanted to become powerful. And who knew what adventures she'd have training and being in the horde.

"Hello Shadowlord Chancol." Deo bowed his head, then looking at Luna. He grinned lightly seeing her submit to the Horde's power. "Well Shadowlord...I'm really not sure. I'm guessing around 72 hours, I remember before the shadowing counting at least 70 hours before losing consciousness." Deo replied, bowing his head again. He was curious as to why Chancol would want that information.

Chancol nodded, giving the order to unlock the cell. He then turned to the umbreon that just took up his offer of joining quietly, "Wise choice, umbreon. I want to to patrol the area, surrounding the Fortress just to show that you are willing to kill or capture any that are bound by the light. There might be a few survivors to the recent war that could be staking out nearby, we wouldn't want that now would we?" in reality he just needed to get some time to discuss with Shade and Zeelo.
One last time he spoke to the Deoxys, "Can you teleport? If so meet me once again later this evening, once you have gotten used to the terrain and have acquainted yourself with some of the others around."

"I can teleport, Shadowlord. So alright, I'll meet with you later tonight." Deo said, bowing his head yet again. He looked at Zeelo, then at the ground. He stood up, still feeling sore even after the Recover. He bowed one last time, teleporting out of the Dungeons.

Luna bowed. "Yes, milord," she said quietly and walked off. She smiled to herself. ~I have to kill something, huh? I didn't see anyone, but either there are others or he's just trying to get rid of me.~ she thought and continued on her way.

Zeelo stayed silent the whole time his red eyes and yellow rings the only thing visible of his body. He didnt speak nor acknoledge anyone, his eyes glued to the Shadowlord. After everyone but him and the Shadowlord were left he stood up bowed again to the Shadowlord and ran out of the dungeons, called for Shade and ran back, bowing again when he stopped.

Chancol walked into the evening air, taking a deep breath, wondering what kind of obstructions were going to block his plan. He gave a nod to Zeelo, looking back into the dark dungeons one last time before continuing to the entrance to the Fortress.
